We have multiple technicians in house that are trained in this field to help get your car back on the road as quick as possible and not cause you to take a second loan out on your house. On the high performance side we have a dyno in house (dyno jet) and also do all our fabrication in house. From welding stainless steel to aluminum, we have you covered. We also deal with over 1,000 vendors so if you don't see a part listed, email us or call and we'll add it for you. All our sales agents are also passionate about the automotive field and its a hobby for them as well, so we won't just sell parts that make us money, we sell parts that we use on our own vehicle and know will get the job done on yours. So LITERALLY you /YOUR channel is like the ONLY one to cover setup on Kpro. Searched for DAYS!! Hondata the company is TRASH for NOT giving the buyer/consumer MORE on the setup of THEIR product!! A user book or video how to disc would be NICE! Especially for how MUCH the Kpro 4 COSTS !!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH for making THIS video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Agreed! It actually blows my mind as well. You pay $1000, down your car, wait a month or so, ok fine it is what it is. You excitedly open up the package to get back on the road and start learning kpro etc, You have one sheet with unexpected things you have to do be aware of and do first. Thank goodness my spark plugs and injectors are still oem otherwise may having to have to order and change parts to be compatible with Kpro would have been nice to know up front.
There should be an initial FYI courtesy email when one orders Kpro stating those things beforehand. One could have a month or so to prep the car to make sure everything is compatible and taking care of initial stuff.. Moving harness ground etc. Etc. (I didnt like where they recommended in pic so routed the ground to the backside properly etc again not a huge deal but just sux having to do this when U expected to get your ecm back in and being able to drive your car again! Yah, sike! Not just yet, maybe tomorrow or your next day off sucka.
Then the only other instructions are to make sure you download Kmanager first and you must load a baseline calibration before car is operable. You open up Kmanager to do this and see a bunch of calibrations but maybe a few apply to your vehicle to begin with and other than stock, pretty much oddball combos LOL , why not a sri, exhaust or sri, shorty header,exhaust perhaps a couple of common baselines? The Reflash calibration like i had prior would have been an amazing baseline, then one could learn slowly from there??
Yes i do believe this is unacceptable as well. Things you buy off Amazon from china, sure a xerox copy of vague instructions and one word or few word answers to start up questions when you call and email if yoi get lucky to get a hold of someone or get a reply to your email within a day or two then just getting told to take it to a tuner?? Is to be expected but not with a $1000 highy sought after data management system?? From a so called high profile company in the indistry. Just wow..
I definitely look at Hondata a whole different way after getting Kpro. They pretty much suck as far as showing any care at all even if you just spent $1k on their product. Its like they just did yoi a favor so buzz off and go ask someone else for help. to some this is a lot of money and a huge investment and this is a huge buzz kill. However, ok back to tryna get my idle below 1500 rpm , surging etc LOL rant over!
I will get it figured out to buy me time to get my cams in first before spending $600+ getting it dyno tuned. Cant wait tho! Im disappointed but nothing can do about that now so imma get back to being excited about the future with Kpro!
Oh yah i lied, i got one more rant!
My ecm amd cover was like brand new but i have one with some dings on it now. No big deal but it added to that sour taste in my mouth.
This should definitely at the very least come with a few pages of start up and initial faq answers. They also should offer a book , CD, or even ebook on Kpro available. LOL even for sale at an extra price is ok I guess. I have to reiterate, To top it off, when asking them questions getting started to at least just running like before you sent ecm out, they give answers like take it to a shop to get tuned. Like wtf??? I expected to get it dyno tuned eventually but not needing to just to get the dam thing driveable. Had I known i would need to spend another $600-800 to get my car driveable safely right off the bat I definitely would have at the very least held off until i get a couple more of my planned mods in. I figured Id get the Kpro so i have it and slowly learn it in the meantime but yah huge mistake, thanks for the video!!
I know once i get familiar with the basics and start learning how to adjust things properly it will all be worth it so now rant is over, i have some time after work, thanx again for vid helping us out!

They keep you in the dark so that you have to rely the tuners that sell their products just to get your car running. It’s how they keep their wizard status and job security. They also don’t want noobs blowing their engines after watching 1 TH-cam video. The steep learning curve is also a vetting method.
@@chadwickwicky67 . Well said . Got a base map from HA Motorsport and that’s a joke. They did a few things to baseMAP but NOT like advertised. I HATE Hondata. COMPLETE TRASH!!! Fuel tech FTW!

I know im it late in finding you but i appreciate the voice over explanation, i belive alotta guys like me that work alot of hours but alsos want to build the project car need this voice for the drive home or to listen to while working it helps alot. i appricaite it thank you keep it up

How can I disable the imrc on my pnd kpro ecu? I am no longer using a base model intake manifold and would like to get rid of the imrc function that it used. My new intake manifold is a prb.

good morning just find your channel .I have k20 PND ECU but I have a k24A.looking at the ECU what tune it only gives me k20a3.only k20a2 bring up tsx tune .or I chose other. car turn on but it run rough.need help.thanks

Got a quick question for you...so I bought kpro n I got it from hybrid racing I ordered a prb n they sent me a prc......I can only get my car to start on a turbo tune the stock ones dont work...is it cause of the ecu being a prc or something else? Lmk if I gotta call them n cuss them up lol... really appreciate any advice you got

What's next- hood s sealed an the dealer is the only one to work on it. Stock wheels an exhaust or the cars crushed. Anyother words if you want a fast car, you have to buy stock fast. No vtec turbo k20. 😢

FOR ANYONE reading THIS comment! DO NOT WASTE your hard earned money on Hondata Kpro!!! They have ZERO customer support!! The unit is DATED and ANTIQUATED!! Like an OVERPRICED DINOSAUR!! I TOTALLY REGRET EVER buying one!! I WILL be selling mine off to go Fueltech!!!
