There are 3 more. Sophia Carsons "A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits" Laura Maranos "A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish" and Bailee Madisons "A Cinderella Story: Starstruck" Plus a bunch of others that are not branded under "A Cinderella Story" One (Probably one of the worst) I almost thought was part of the series called "Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale" featering Sterling Knight, and a not so terrible beach vacation one called "Cinderella in the Caribbean"
I laughed out loud when you said you hadn't thought of Freddie as a hot guy. You may not remember but he ran the school radio station in Pitch Perfect and even showed off his abs. I always thought it was a shame he was in another music movie but didn't sing. 😂❤
Wow, I did not recognise him at all and wouldn't have picked up on that until next time I watch Pitch Perfect.... I love that movie, but have only started to really like Freddie since his performance in Peacemaker. Thanks for the info!
There's actually a Nickelodeon Cinderella movie about a guy whose a singer-songwriter/rapper and one of the stepbrothers is actually nice and helps him. You don't have to react to it, just wanted to tell you about it.
Absolutely! Bev deserved a real parent. If she had that, she could have been a really good person. Instead, she's going to have to wade through years of therapy whilst being consistently misunderstood
So a couple things. Lucy started out her Career by going on the TV show American Juniors (A spin off of American Idol for younger contestants and the reason for the "American Idol" line in the movie) She was one of the 5 winner who became a group and released music under the same name as the show for about 2 years before disbanding. She has since been in many movies and tv series as both supporting roles and leads. She was a lead in tv shows like Pretty Little Liars, Katy Keen, life sentence, and Rag Doll and privileged. As well as movies such as Truth or Dare, All of nothing (previously called fear island) Fantasy Island and more. As well as smaller roles in things like Wizards of Waverly Place, how i met your mother, Scream 4 Riverdale, Sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 etc. She even did a bit of voice acting as Tinkerbells twin sister Periwinkle in secret of the wings. Also there is 3 more "A Cinderella Story" movies. The next one stars Sophia Carson, Thomas Law and Jennifer Tilly. Its called "A Cinderella Story: If The Shoe Fits" Then there is "A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish" staring Laura Marano and Gregg Sulkin. And Finally we have "A Cinderella Story: Starstruck" Staring Bailee Madison and Michael Evans Behling. This does not include the many, many, many more modern Cinderella movies. Ive watched two one was pretty good "Cinderella in the Caribbean" one was not "Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale" which sounds like it should be a part of the "A Cinderella Story" Series, but is not... and is not very good.
this is def one of my favorite Cinderella adaptions, but there's more adaptions not many probably know about. Nickelodeon's adaption Rags and A Cinderella Story: If the shoes fits! They're so underrated I suggests you should give it a watch both of them also involving music as well!!
I've never heard of this movie, but some of those scenes were WILD. Like, who thought it would be a good idea to have a teenage girl locked out of her house butt-naked as a joke and then have them all dressed up in bad Indian costumes for the dance? And then have a group of boys jamming out at the urinals not just once but TWICE. It's so bizarre, lol.
So glad you reacted to this. People tend to just watch the Hilary Duff and Selena Gomez ones but I think this one is probably my favourite of them. It's got a sense of humour about it being a little ridiculous and I agree with you that I like how the step-sibling relationships aren't super antagonistic. It's just the step-mother who is bad. I will also say I do have Run this Town on some of my playlists to this day 😅
Thank you! I was surprised by this one. It’s genuinely my favourite of the 3 now. Although the original is a very close second. Glad you agree about the set siblings! That’s awesome, good to hear that song stuck with you 😁
It's so fun to see you in your element! Your insights on music are very interesting. I also liked the stepsister in this one, but it's definitely not my favorite. I had no idea Lucy Hale could sing, though! If you like Cinderella stories, you might enjoy "What A Girl Wants" with Amanda Bynes. It's got some Cinderella sub-themes and I think it still has some music (the boyfriend is a musician.) I watched it a ton as a teen.
Thanks so much! I don’t often get to dive this deep into my more specialised areas of music knowledge, so that was a lot of fun for me 😊 Good news, what a girl wants recently won a poll I did for new movies so I’m going to do that and wild child very soon. Though I think wild child will be out sooner because what a girl wants will definitely have copyright issues (because Warner bros)

Alright, about the artist and businessman roles in the music industry. I can relate to this, having run businesses before. I acknowledge that there are businessmen and there are those who serve more of a purpose for businessmen. Fortunately, I learned from the very start that knowing how to fulfill both roles can be of eternal value in any endeavor. Sam knows exactly what I'm talking about. Now, while this has always been my favorite of the Cinderella Story movies, there are 14 others aside from this one which I posted below. You may like others more. Trust me, despite the corny aura they possess, it's worth watching them all in order to have a fuller vision of the franchise. Here is the list - A Cinderella Christmas A Cinderella Story A Cinderella in the Caribbean Emma Reinagel Connor McGee Another Cinderella Story A Cinderella Story - Christmas Wish A Cinderella Story - If The Shoe Fits A Cinderella Story - Once Upon A Song A Cinderella Story - Starstruck DJ Cinderella - Cinderella Pop Elle: A Modern Cinderella Tale Not Cinderella's Type Teen Spirit The High Note Wild Rose
I have a pretty good voice and I was learning how to play guitar but my guitar teacher moved and I wasn't able to find another one so my guitars is just sitting in my closet, I also tried to release some music on my own but I don't really know how to do that in terms of like how to produce it because I don't know how to like do things with my voice like I added some music and things but I'm not really like super technical with all of that kind of stuff and because I have a type of cerebral palsy called right Hemiplegia, Learning to play guitar is quite tricky for me I would do the chords with my left hand and then strum with my right hand which was better but it was still hard for me to play I feel like that's pretty normal though and it takes awhile I was just very slow at it so when it came to making music I am also just wrote songs and then would sing them but I couldn't really mix tracks or anything like that and I just did it all in GarageBand and just made some music but I couldn't like make it really sound that good obviously my voice sounded good and I found some beats and stuff that sounded good together but I just didn't really know what I was doing and I did pay someone for awhile to kind of help but I just don't really have the money for that and I don't want to like put in too much work to like trying so agency or anything like that just massively expensive I thought about like posting somewhere to ask to join a band or something like that, but it's very difficult to sort all of that out when you don't really know what you're doing and I tried to release some music but like I said because I don't really know what I'm doing in terms of like putting together beats and stuff it was like virtual on my encourage band as opposed to proper equipment or anything like that, so I just kind of gave up which is unfortunate, I was doing a lot of other stuff at the time too but yeah I've been wanting to get back into it I just don't know how to get started or what to do about it given that I just don't really know how to make music, I know everybody can sing or play an instrument can mix music and stuff, but I know that when it comes to things like making music these days a lot of artists will try and make music on their own or like pay someone to make music rather than going to a record label because there can be issues with that in terms of likehow they treat musicians and all that kind of thing, plus it's really hard to get things like record labels, because it can be very problematic in the industry and you have to know someone and you have to be like really really good, there's a lot of things that make it very difficult even if you just wanna do it for fun like I do and release some music out there, it's hard to do when you can't really mix it and make it yourself, like I said not everybody can do that so I don't really know how to make that happen it's not something I want to do like as a full career or anything, like there's other stuff that I'm doing as well, but I feel like it would just be like a fun thing to do and just get some music out there but yeah I don't really know anyone in the music industry and I don't have the money to pay anyone to do anything so i'm kind of stuck there, but yeah I did learn guitar for while and learning the chords was very difficult and it does really hurt your fingers, I was getting pretty good at it until my guitar teacher left and then I didn't really know what to do and never really got a new guitar teacher or anything so yeah that was unfortunate, but it was really fun for while and I'm constantly like writing songs in my head or singing songs but not really doing anything with them.
Even Idina Menzel's voice cracked in the Oscars, so yeah. Im not a singer but I imagine performing has a lot of internal and external components to it. But I thought Luke was a little fidgety in this one. He likes one girl but then likes the other and then is back to liking the other girl... Kissed them both. Dunno. I know he was deceived but eh. Just thought he was a lukewarm love interest. He he. See what i did there.
Absolutely. Singing is a tough thing to balance because it can be so affected by things like physical and mental health. Even elite pros will have rough performances. I hear you. I thought it was weird he actually seemed so into the stepsister when she was so clearly full of shit lol
I have no idea where to watch this, I live in New Zealand and I've been wanting to watch all of the Cinderella remakes, you know all the Cinderella stories, but the only ones I've seen at the first two and the one that came out a few years ago with Laura Marano the Christmas one, I can't find this one anywhere I don't know where to watch it, Australia and New Zealand are pretty close together so I don't where I can find it to watch it without having to use the VPN, because I've been wanting to watch this one for years and the only way I can watch it is through reactions like this. Also for anyone who has ever watched the old ABC family show the secret life of the American teenager, the daughter in this movie plays Grace, who is a really religious Christian girl who believes that having sex with her boyfriend killed her father, which is all kinds of weird, but that's where I know her from. Also Lucy Hale is most famous for pretty little liars and also as Robin's little sister in how I Met your mother.
Came for the reaction to my 2nd Favourite 'A Cinderella Story' movie, and got some really cool music fun facts as bonus thanks Sam! If you're up for another 'Cinderella Story' movie my favourite is actually a Nickelodeon one named 'Rags' with Max Schnieder as Charlie it's a gender swapped version but is full of laughs, fun, doesn't take itself too seriously, great songs and lots of heart. Good luck with the original music too.
Listen, I've written this comment on several videos at this point because no one seems to know. There are 13 movies based on the Cinderella Story plot. This one is my favorite as well, most movie reviewers disagree. If The Shoe Fits is also good. DJ Cinderella was a different take on it. If I remember correctly, A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff, Teen Spirit and Not Cinderella's Type with Paris Warner are the 3 in which they are teenagers. The other 10 movies all involve mostly adult casts. Wild Rose starring Jesse Buckley is probably the most mature take on it. I believe I posted the list of every Cinderella Story movie in one of your other Cinderella Story videos. The High Note with Dakota Johnson was a great take on it as well.
I don’t know if it was just me or I was being to judgey but I feel like Luke wasn’t really into Kate he was more into her voice like yes he though she was a cool fun person but I feel like he was more into her voice cause whenever he though the step sister had the voice he would want to be with her and stuff even though repeatedly he said she was weird and kinda crazy but as soon as he saw Kate was the real singer then heromantically started wanting her again etc if that makes sense idk I just feel like he was more her art than her as a person. But yes I think this is one of my fav Cinderella movies it actually makes sense most of the time. But I do feel bad for the step sister she really wasn’t a bad person she was just insecure and scared and her mom saw that and used it to her advantage to get into her head and control her the siblings really aren’t that bad they just had a bad mom who make them do mean hurtful thing but deep down they aren’t bad kids and her best friend I adore her
It was so great to watch this reaction and the movie from your musical perspective! You talked so much about rock that it came to my mind one of my favorite rock band, which might be the only one. If you’re interested, give them a listen, they’re a Hungarian rock band Tankcsapda and perhaps their most well known song Mennyország tourist.
Oh i love this movie i know it by heart, this is moat definitely the bestttttt Cinderella Story ❤❤❤❤❤ Freddie stroma won my heart in this, and Lucy Hale is nothing less than stunning . The soundtrack is wonderful in my opinion, I used yo kiaten to it every aingle day. Love this movie.
I'm really curious what you would think of the band Steam Powered Giraffe. They do have a gimmick, but they're also REALLY GOOD. Mostly vocals, but even overall they're really great
Hey Kilian 😊 So, I looked them up. I will say, they're super committed to the bit and that encompasses everything they do, including the songwriting and performances. However, I do believe they have a genuine passion for the music and because of that they write and perform their stuff very well. It does mean that in order to listen to the music, you have to be into the steam punk robot thing, and I don't love that aspect. But, I do respect it. They have not let the gimmick override the music. Instead, it goes hand in hand with it and that's pretty cool
@@themoviebud1988 I respect that - it's not going to be everyone's thing. Especially since I don't think they even really consider themselves a band per say, they're primarily performers, and their performances are a mix of comedy, dance, and songs - the main two are twins and they have formal mime training. Gotta say though, love and appreciate the fact that you actually went and checked them out!
I said this on Patreon already, but I still prefer the "acapella" group over her. I am not insulting her singing, but their singing is more interesting to me.
I hear you. I think I liked their style a bit more in the small instance we got with them, but we got more opportunities with her to see her versatility and that helped me enjoy her skills a lot as she has a decent range of ability
This movie is SO underrated!! But it’s such a fun movie to watch just for comfort Will you watch the Cinderella movie with Sofia Carson too? (Cinderella story 4 - if the shoe fits)
You are correct. However, the majority of people talk about them as if they are the same thing and I try to make sure my overall language choices reach as many people as possible with the idea that hard work is more important than anything else when it comes to doing something you really want to do
Fantastic reaction I love this movie Lucy Hale is a absolute icon she's amazing in this and she was incredible in pretty little liars that show is incredible love you Lucy your amazing love you too man keep up the amazing work 😊❤🎉
I probably should have just looked up the actor, but I was wondering why the male lead looked familiar. I just read a comment here saying that he was in 'Pitch Perfect'. I thought the same thing when I saw him in 'Pitch Perfect' until someone mentioned that he was in 'Harry Potter'.😂 I was surprised how much I liked this film. I didn't hate 'Another Cinderella Story', but I have to be honest and admit that it did make me not want to watch any of the later films in this series.
Lol, me too! I actually still haven't just looked him up. But, I've seen those comments too so now I know some more of the stuff he's been in 😅😂 Agreed! I thought at best it would be an ok movie, but I liked this one quite a bit! I have my doubts for the rest of the franchise though 😬
@@themoviebud1988 I have the worst time figuring where I know actors from. Or if I am just confusing them with another performer because they look similar. The first three films are the only ones I hear people talk about so I am not taking that as the best sign.
U need to react to a Cinderella story if the shoe fits please I’ve asked other reactors but sadly I failed so please 🙏 react to this and react to Sofia Carson’s voice in this movie I’ve just now started watching your videos and you never disappoint 💜💜💜💜
48:02 o Sam the music references r a lot this video. I love your reactions & how knowledgeable u r about music. But could u please get back to the movie
This is definitely the last good “Cinderella Story” movie but great Cinderfella movie is “Rags” is a Nickelodeon movie it’s so good
There are 3 more. Sophia Carsons "A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits"
Laura Maranos "A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish" and Bailee Madisons "A Cinderella Story: Starstruck"

You’re so right! It’s also basically this but Nickelodeon and gender swapped. It’s pretty good.

I laughed a lot at the cultural appropriation because it’s not too far from reality. Also, Lucy Hale THEE ICON.
I hear you. Honestly wasn’t too sure what to say about that lol
Lucy Hale should really be in more musical projects, she has a gorgeous voice. I'm glad that you enjoyed this movie, Sam.
I agree. Really enjoyed her singing and overall performance in this.
Thanks, me too!
Pretty sure she went to rehab soon after this + PLL. I remember her talking in an interview about addiction
I loved this movie as a child. I mean I LOVED it so much I watched it at least once a week. Even my dad laughed a couple times.
I get you, it’s a really fun one 😊
It seems closer to the original tale that he is a nepo baby! Originally it was the prince, and what else is that really? LMAO
I agree. Should have said that myself 👌
There's actually a Nickelodeon Cinderella movie about a guy whose a singer-songwriter/rapper and one of the stepbrothers is actually nice and helps him. You don't have to react to it, just wanted to tell you about it.

Now, while this has always been my favorite of the Cinderella Story movies, there are 14 others aside from this one which I posted below. You may like others more. Trust me, despite the corny aura they possess, it's worth watching them all in order to have a fuller vision of the franchise.
Here is the list -

A Cinderella in the Caribbean Emma Reinagel Connor McGee
Another Cinderella Story
A Cinderella Story - Christmas Wish
A Cinderella Story - If The Shoe Fits
A Cinderella Story - Once Upon A Song
A Cinderella Story - Starstruck

Pause it all you want! I'm loving the commentary... and the little guitar lesson! X)b
Thanks so much 😊
heck yea I get to catch this early. Love your videos, looking forward to the reaction.
Glad you’re hyped, thanks so much 😊
A guitar lesson in the middle of the video was an interesting addition, but I really liked it. You did show easier chords, liked the video
Haha, thanks. I was worried it might be too much, but couldn’t resist. Glad you liked it 😊
OMG I've been waiting for thiss!!!
Edit: Original Music would be so cool to hear from you!
Glad to hear it!
Thank you, I'm getting there! Trying to put the finishing touches on my first solo single over the next few weeks 😁 - Sam
I’ll probably get to Rags sometime, but I can’t say when. Thanks so much for the support 😊🙏
I ❤ This Movie! Lucy
Was In Pretty Little Liars! Freddie Is 37 And Lucy Is 35!🙆🏻♀️🥰🤗🎶🖥💕
Glad to hear it! Thanks for the info 😊
Yesss!! I’ve been dying for you to watch this one!
I get it. This one was great 😁
Omg better anyway mention!!! Just started listening to them like 2 weeks ago
Glad to hear you’re listening to them! I think they’ve got some great stuff 👌
My favorite one!!!!
Good to hear 😄
The fourth member of boys II men died… he didn’t leave
Oh shit, that sucks to hear. Thanks for telling me!
you should react to the movie Rags!!!
Love Lucy hale she has an amazing voice
So true, Tyler. She’s great 👍
You should check out Cinderella story: If the shoe fits, it honk it’s really fun!!
Oh didn't knew about this one. Guess it sorta got hidden in my teens
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the music perspective I have 😊 I'll give that band a listen!
44:31 the irony that Lucy Hale was on American Idol; I’ve seen this plenty but just caught that line. 😅
This is my favorite. Love Lucy hale
How did I miss this movie
Oh i love this movie i know it by heart, this is moat definitely the bestttttt Cinderella Story ❤❤❤❤❤
Freddie stroma won my heart in this, and Lucy Hale is nothing less than stunning .
The soundtrack is wonderful in my opinion, I used yo kiaten to it every aingle day.
Love this movie.
you should watch Rags too
I'm really curious what you would think of the band Steam Powered Giraffe.
The “Cinderella Story” franchise went downhill after this. which makes sense. Only one place to go after you’ve reached the top
I hear you. Nowhere left to go but down 😆
i’d love to see Lucy shake in more things, but honestly, it seems like someone cursed her career after Pretty Little Liars
This movie is SO underrated!!
But it’s such a fun movie to watch just for comfort
Will you watch the Cinderella movie with Sofia Carson too? (Cinderella story 4 - if the shoe fits)
Skill and talent are not the same, are they?
You are correct. However, the majority of people talk about them as if they are the same thing and I try to make sure my overall language choices reach as many people as possible with the idea that hard work is more important than anything else when it comes to doing something you really want to do
Fantastic reaction I love this movie Lucy Hale is a absolute icon she's amazing in this and she was incredible in pretty little liars that show is incredible love you Lucy your amazing love you too man keep up the amazing work 😊❤🎉
Glad you're hyped! Thanks for the support 😊
I probably should have just looked up the actor, but I was wondering why the male lead looked familiar. I just read a comment here saying that he was in 'Pitch Perfect'. I thought the same thing when I saw him in 'Pitch Perfect' until someone mentioned that he was in 'Harry Potter'.😂
I was surprised how much I liked this film. I didn't hate 'Another Cinderella Story', but I have to be honest and admit that it did make me not want to watch any of the later films in this series.
Lol, me too! I actually still haven't just looked him up. But, I've seen those comments too so now I know some more of the stuff he's been in 😅😂
Agreed!
12 hours in, I’m like #300 let’s goooo
Please react to Rags
did you ever watch the Cyrano musical with Peter Dinklage?
I haven't, no. It seems like it would be cool though. I like Peter
Lucy Hale has the unfortunate luck of being a great actress while getting casted in less than ideal roles but she always makes it work 💅
U need to react to a Cinderella story if the shoe fits please I’ve asked other reactors but sadly I failed so please 🙏 react to this and react to Sofia Carson’s voice in this movie I’ve just now started watching your videos and you never disappoint 💜💜💜💜
48:02 o Sam the music references r a lot this video. I love your reactions & how knowledgeable u r about music. But could u please get back to the movie
I hear you Jaye. Never had this many opportunities before 😅 I might cut a couple out of this one
@@themoviebud1988 love the reaction regardless
Yesss!! I’ve been dying for you to watch this one!
