Every kid in the 80s dream car. I wasn't born in the 70s. The first generation are classic but these years bring back some much nostalgia for myself I was mad as a teen when they changed the body style in 94-02
Yah I agree you love my all original 92 Z28 that i ordered new in 92 and still own today with 19thousand original miles. It's my favorite car in my collection
Damn thats a low price but no T Tops . Drivers floor pan usually rust out first . Those are not very fast but they look nice . 3 rd gen Camaros are appreciating , just like Fox body Mustangs Gts .
Ive owned about 17 of these lol and ive had my current 89 for 21 years. Over 330,000 miles on the body, the motor i swapped years ago for a 350 but the original 305 was still purring strong at 190,000 miles! One of my only cars that has never broke down and ive owned lots!
Ive got an Black 1983 Z28 with the 5.0 , automatic , t tops I may put an old carburated 350 in it someday . Looks a lot like this but with T tops and No big ass rear spoiler .
To those of you "young bucks" on here making fun of the "200 hp engine" I'll educate you and inform you: The late 60s and early 70s were the glory years of horsepower. Big cubic inch big blocks that ran on lead gasoline (not unleaded) and there was no catalytic converter or any other emissions crap anywhere to be found. (Thanks California) then in the mid and late 70s there was an oil embargo, plus California passed smog laws and every thing became about mpg and fuel mileage (much like today) then GM & Ford had to go back to the drawing board (Mopar said F- IT and got out of the muscle car game completely until a few yrs ago when they brought back a small block Hemi)... Ford and GM discontinued big blocks except in heavy duty one ton pickup trucks and even those were de-tuned to only 250-260 hp from a big 454 motor. In the 80s, with all the fuel saving, emissions crap, 200-230 hp was the norm from a small block V8. The 80s was definitely without a doubt, the worst decade for muscle car performance. Although fox body mustangs and 3rd gen Camaros definitely looked cool. I would say the fastest car made in the 80s was probably an 87 Buick Grand National Turbo. All that being said, now technology has advanced so much, that Mopar is back (and in a major way) with their HEMI, GM has introduced the LS series engines that enthusiasts are swapping into everything, and Ford has developed a modular version of their famous 5.0, plus ecoboost turbo V6s that get almost 400hp in their pickup trucks. The 70s were awesome and now is even more awesome with today's technology, but bridging the gap in between is the 80s and yes, most of the cars from the 80s were "SLUGS"
Seems like a fun car nice profile although maybe I'd paint it burgundy 🤔 or a darker version of neon green and add old school Tires ( DUNLAP GT QUALIFERS) WITH BIG WHITE LETTERING ON THE TIRES. 👍
as a camaro firebird fan these videos kick ass I can't belevie that was 6500 is bough that in a second if was still for sale I'm be on look out for more
I had this car after getting out of the Marines in 96. Unless they swapped the motor. It's a 5.7 32 valve. The only issue I had after installing a chip when I would run it is that I had to replace the transmission mount after every weekend. It had a plastic one. I loved this car. It would eat 5.0s and Porsche 911s for breakfast. If you come across another one. Let me know
Who needs AC when your getting the refreshing breeze off the wings of eagles while driving classic American muscle that body style is one of my dream cars buddy in high school had an RS one day when the kids are grown and I can afford my mid life crisis ill own one lol love the vids I have family that lives in Hendersonville so I have been by your lot before you were on TH-cam and wanted to stop in love from lower middle TN
That '92 is just a straight Z-28. IROC sponsorship ended after the '90 model year. Great collection though, I wish I still had the '74 Camaro I had in high school. Great times in that car. It would look great next to my '13 SS and my sons '92 RS.
Nick. As you know a lot of us watch all the test drives but don't watch the walk arounds unless we really like the car. I really appreciate when you give a brief overview of the walk around after you do it in the test drive video. Such as weather the flip up headlights work on the Corvettes, and briefly describe the paint. It tells us all we need to know about the car. Those who are really interested can watch the walk arounds for more details.

I don't miss 80's GM vehicles in the least. Squeaks, rattles, leaks, junk paint jobs, junk A/C systems, engines with oil pumps shooting craps @ 90,000 miles, don't ask me how I know...
I personally own. A purple 92 RS 305 throttle body. I know everything about these cars. Right to the T. The car is supposed to have a 145 mile per hour speedometer. It doesn't mine is 110 miles per hour. It's an RS all 92 Z28 Camaros. 305 or 350. Had a factory145. Speedometer this one doesn't. Um I wonder why.

Yes, in 1994 and for the next 15 years, viewing the 4th generation's rounded sheetmetal and elongated windshield was shocking
I got one. Born in 1981 lol so I totally feel you bro
Yeah I stop at the 4th gen myself
This is one of my favorite cars just needs t-tops.

That 5.0 was really weak..had a crossfire 1 it was alright. Nothing like the 5.7 tps though..huge difference.
That’s a good price.
It is a good price for it but I think it is a 305 car,I got a 91 Z28,350 car it has a 150 mph speed omerter
In 2003 when I got my first car, that was almost 100% identical, paid 2,500... gotta love how finally the 3rd gen is getting attention
@@eddiecollins8740 he says at the start it’s a 5.0, def a 305
Not a good price for those floor pans!
Nice car. Brought back some great memories, I had a red one several years ago. I had a lot of fun with that car.
This was my second car. When I was a teenager. It was fun.
Very reasonable price for this beauty. Had 6 third gen camaros the past 35 years.currently working on my 7th .87 iroc z switch needs lots of loving.
It's a good looking car I had a 89 RS so fun somebody's going to bag that one up quick:
It looks pretty good but I think it is a 305 car cause I got a red 91 z28 and it has a 150 mile a hour speed omerter
This one should go fast at that price
It will be a slug. and run hot come summer
The automatic and 305 won't help

It's a fair price it's a good car for project pull the motor. Put in a crate 350 be a great car
Need AC, those compressors leak shaft seal, and kassing, usually the inside stays sturdy. Seal kit, recharge, should be good.
Great idea putting the camera on the ground and rolling over it for underside shots
Ladies and gentlemen WE HAVE KICK DOWN!!!
Nice car, i was never a fan of the air bag steering wheels as they looked like a big pillow on the wheel.
These were the "new" Camaros when I was drag racing as a teenager, so I have a soft spot for them. She's pretty crusty down there Nick...
I would pull the LT and drop a hot LS, that would be amazing
I think he said its a 305 ( 5.0 ) , not an LT1 /350 ( 5.7 )
But putting an LS motor in it would be nice , cause 5.0 liter 's are pretty slow
Brah dream car right here one of them at least. And i was born in 99.

I was somewhat interested until it became a 5.0L and an automatic.. still cool, but not $7,000 cool

You should ask more money for that Camaro. I seen these selling for around 15 grand online.
They're not worth 15k tbh.
And just think those Ford Foxbody Mustang's 5.0 use to whoop these Camaro...Iroc-z ass at the street races back in the 80's
This gave me butterflies like I was inside the car myself. And do all Iroc Z28 have that wing or is it for selective ones?
it's a option im guessing.. my 86 doesnt have one

THAT CAR IS FAR FROM A ROD ITS NICE MY CHOICE WOULD BE ANY THING OUT OF THE 50S 60S TO 73 AFTER THAT ITS OVER
THAT IS NOT A HOT ROD
Great 1 st car for somebody 17 for sure ...
the car I wanted when I was 15...lol, and yes, I was 15 in 1992...sigh...
I live in IN and it’s hard to find a decent 3rd gen for under 10 grand! This car I’m guessing is sold already!
Still available atm
Keep up the good work Nick, always enjoy watching your videos
Thanks, will do!
Please when you're not driving the car don't let the sun visor get in the way the camera thank you
I should read out driving in the car
If that car was located in Pennsylvania id buy it
nice but let me know if you run across an IROC with T tops in good shape!
I say the horn works on that low milage camaro.!! 😎😎😎
