Man that exhaust leak is killing the sound of the engine if you fix that it would be a totally different beast

Yup, my first car owned. I was all of 17 or so and bought my 68 Camaro SS 350 for $1495, used. Around 1972 or so. My payments ... around $68/month. Looked like the same car in this video with the exact striping in the front. But, my striping also went down the sides. Oh, the memories !!
I'll tell you what that car needs, the snot run out of it, a decent fan setup, and some TLC. I put my 5th Gen on Autotrader Sunday. If it was sold, I would have been on your lot 4 hours ago. Perfect birthday present for me!

I had a 67 when I was in high school back in the 70s. It had a 6 cyl 3 speed in it wish I still had it.
My first was a 68 Camaro SS 350. I was all of 17 or so. Oh yeah, once upon a time. :-)

and great price i know how much it takes to build a motor like that i had an old 427 chevy motor i was building i was going to build it up to 750hp but i fell on hard times and sold it cheap

Beautiful ride, now that it's idling on it's own it's a little high.
Sharp looking car I've always loved Chrome wheels. Little to much stacked on the engine for a driver . It would be ideal for someone who loves tuning . Change in the weather change the tune . Probably an 8 second car at the strip . It's set up for drag racing no a weekend dating car . Love the color tire & wheel set up .

Hey Nick that is one great looking car it kind of sounds like it's got a header leak but I have been around blowers I've never heard that sound like that it's probably got a 2-speed Powerglide transmission in it that car is set up for drag racing

Superchargers always felt imitation to me.I like just good old raw power no enhancement necessary.I do like a twin turbo however.Lol.A great car for supercharger fans though it if finely tuned could be a destroyer.😎✌👍
95% chance it's a two speed power-glide. Very common trans desired in drag racing applications. Also common in basic cars in 60's and early 70's.
In the first drive over, you can see it's a turbo 350.

The exhaust leak is due to low ground clearance. If you fix it the problem will come back next time you hit something hard.

That's a tunning issue you should not have to play with throttle to keep it running when warmed up
It quit by the end of the ride, it’s just been sitting a couple years. Needed to be driven to work out that issue.
If it wasn’t all chopped up and was in good condition it might be worth $30k. Like it sits I wouldn’t give $25k for it
