    Always did like the exterior of those. A really pretty girl next door bought a new RS in '92 in that turquoise color with the 305. She was always washing it in daisy dukes.

    Sweet ride. I have the 305 version with t-tops I bought 7 years ago for $4k and 92k miles in what I would rate at 9.7/10 condition. Absolutely love it. I do wish I had that tan interior instead of the black and grey mine has. Whoever buys that is going to be very happy with it.

    That was the year to get the 25th Anniversary Z28, 1992. The 5.7 version had the Corvette V8 with about 250 hp/345 torque. But it was a light car at about 3350 pls. Capable of 13.9 1/4 miles with the right options. Definitely still cool in 2020.

    As a comparison, I know someone that just sold their original owner 92 Teal Z-28 with 5-speed and T-tops, in cleaner condition than this one and 75k miles. Sold for $3,800 after about a month sitting on craigslist and other online listings. There was a time when this dealer was listing fair prices for vehicles. The last one that I saw was a red Nova back in May. Since then their prices have left the realm of common sense, but people keep buying, so more power to 'em. To those that complain about their prices, I would just say that their prices reflect what their customers are willing to pay, otherwise they wouldn't be in business. The rest of us will just have to look elsewhere, complaining doesn't fix it.

    • @MapleMotorsNickSouthgate
      @MapleMotorsNickSouthgate  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The prices of the classics are going up cause thats what they have done for the last 20 years. We pay more for them too, every year. We are still $2000 below the national average. The reason they are selling is because people are shopping around and land on us for the deal. Every single day we have that same story from all of our buyers. The market is rising , as you can see. Thanks for watching

    I know the back bone of these cars, owned a 1992 Z28 5.7L G80/G92-3;42, 700r4,... currently own a 1988 Iroc-Z 5.0L tbi 5speed, posi 3;08 rear drum. The 92 Camaro had everything wrong from bypassing VATS, SIR, replacing the Speed buffer thinking it was the speedo chip on the cluster or the speed sensor on the tranny, also added resistors to the tach to make it work, to changing the fuel pressure regulator under the plenum (flooded the intake)-while it was out changed the air temp sensor and egr, I could never find the egr solenoid part (Stop making the part) to make the SES light to go away...tried every auto parts to Rockauto to GM (discontinued). Till this day, I always loved the OBD 1 system cause you can put a pin on A and B port to flash the code, but can never modify the computer to have a Big cam, had to send it out to get flashed...cause factory tune never thought they would modify these cars to muscle cars

      No they did not. It depends on how the dealer or customer ordered the car. If you didn't specify wheel color you got color keyed wheels (white for the white cars, red for the red cars, or black Z03 optioned cars you could get red or grey wheels.). You had to do a manual override to get the grey wheels. This applies to all Z28's or RS with the F41 suspension.

    Nick, I would love to own this car, but no room in either garages! The price is very fair! Beautiful inside and out! Plus not sure I could get “PERMISSION” to buy it, if you know what I mean! Won’t buy a car that I had to leave outdoors. It should go quickly in my opinion. Great car!

      Yes all 92 Z28’s had it, including mine. That no horn is an issue which costs $350 at the dealership to correct. It comes from a piece surrounding the air bag. There are some funky inserts in there that are no longer made. The rear speakers become subwoofers using your front rear fader.. I’m restoring mine at present and almost finished. This car is extremely hard to find certain parts, extremely hard.
