Damm always felt my 172cup was faster in a straight than my 200. This confirms it

The slightly open windows increase the wind resistance, and they make it hard to reach hi speeds. So if you close your windows it will make more on the long straights...cheers

The older car is faster in a straight line but overall lap times, would be in the later cars favour.
Better chassis and better brakes.

Sie fahren ja einen 3 RS. Der Motorklang gefällt mir in den oberen Drehzahlen. Ist das der Standard 200 PS Motor? Haben Sie Gewichtaus dem Wagen herausgenommen dass er evtl unter 1200 kg wiegt. Gewicht ist wichtig. Ich fahre 860 kg Fahrer inklusive und brauch ein 2t Wagen.

It's not that Clio 2 is that faster in the straight line. It just had better exiting speed from that corner before that long straight at 5:00

First thing your car weights too much more than the old Clio then I guess you had more than half tank and your windows had to be up and not down. These are just some tips your driving skills are good tho!

Genau, 179 PS Standard und jetzt ca. 200 PS. Ab Wippermann hatte ich plötzlich Probleme mit der Servolenkung und bin langsam weiter gefahren.

Du bist ja schon zügig unterwegs und scheinst dein Gefährt ja auch gut unter Kontrolle zu haben, aber deine Lenkweise solltest du nochmal überdenken, du reichst dein Lenkrad ja durch wie so ein Rentner :D

ja datt is ne Gewohnheitssache. Fahre ab dieser Saison viel mehr sturz. damit wird sich auch der Lenkeinschlag verringern.

The 182 was the last proper hot hatch Renault made all clios after are to big and heavy even the 1.6 turbo Clio would struggle against a decent 182 cup.

The Twingo GT Turbo is fucking fast though mate, 0-60 in 7.8 seconds and 135mph top speed, very light too , you should try one

Straight line performance of Clio III RS are brutally overrated. Decent Clio 172 stock will almost always be faster, don't get upset :P Nice driving though!

Indeed. RS3 have chassi and brakes for +250hp, the RS2 with ~200hp became hard to control out of the turns.

Yes. RS3 is much better in corners. But still like the raw feeling of RS2. Everything manual, minimal weight less electronic and simple suspension which can not cope with so much power. Little muscle car :)

RS2 is 200kg lighter this is why its faster , he only caught it because the guy was having engine problems hence why he put the hazards on

you must put pressure around 1.1 / 1.2 Bar for regular pneu (ex continental)
