All the cars here are spectacular, especially the Civic Type R, Lutecia RS, and Mini Cooper S. But the Colt Ralliart caught my eye as that is the last of Mitsubishi’s greatest creations that with their hot hatch formula that has the soul of the Evo as now they make some of the worst cars like the Outlander and Mirage. Man I miss the Pajero Evo, 3000GT VR-4, Galant VR-4/AMG, Eclipse GSX, Colt Ralliart, and of course the Lancer Evolution. At least they are still making the Pajero as that is their last good car.
I just bought a German moded Colt 5door with Brabus swap (177 HP standard), looking for a second one, a Colt Ralliart Version R is what I want now. With some mods they make easily over 200 hp, would not be in 4th position at the finish then. Really love these little cars...

Renault is really good at making hot hatches. The fastest FF in touge battle was once Renault Megane RS where it was tested against Civic Type R with 50 more hp.
it didnt have much competition in this video tho. the civic was only the worse euro type r. the fd2 type r wouldve been a different story id say. even the older ep3 type r would have been a harder nut to crack then the euro civic.

Also, the FN2's handing is not as great due to the loss of the rear double wishbone suspension like @MElekiaz has said and it's also much heavier. I would take a 2006-2011 US Civic SI compared to the FN2 which is pretty sad because the type r should always be better than the SI.
I think this must be the normal Abarth and not an Essesse. The power tot weigth ratio of the Abarth must be enough to keep up on acceleration with the rest. My 185HP Abarth 500 is much faster than a Cooper S and Clio RS on the highway. Great race anyway!!
skycrap if it's a Clio 3 RS 200 like in this video (i think it's a rs 200) they have either just over or just under 200bhp stock and weight pretty much the same as the Abarth :) I've got a Clio 3 RS 200 with a stage one tune and its making 230 bhp, absolutely brilliant cars but also have had ago in my friends Essess and they are definitely a quick little car :)

They sell the abarth at 30k€ and more also the fiat don't produce new model of car the 500 is Born in 2007 and they sell today with only different headlight
The Renault might also have a slight advantage in term of aerodynamic. It has deflectors on its rear undercarriage that create a better venturi effect.

HAHA learn math Renault is 0,1-0,2tenth faster Per lap sooo NO.. Also the mini cooper has loads of slip stream towards the race whilst clio hasnt in lap 2.. if You watch other tests its 0,5-0,6sec quicker.. the cooper is the real deal NO doubt but clio is better in every way..
i think they might want to check how the older ep3 or the fd2 type r would fair against the clio. the euro type r fn2 is known to be slower then both. 🤷♂️
As expected, Clio 200 spot ftw. Abarth 500 expected last place Battle for 3rd was a good battle Raliart colt is good but powerful only between 3-5k rpm after 5k the power dies affecting top end giving way to the mini. Type R was always going to get at least 2nd and possible first it it has a good run and the Clio makes a mistake, don't know why it started 2nd from the front, must of been sandbagging the qualifying time trial 😂
I know its an old comment, but that Colt was just underpowered compared to the other opononents. However, fun fact is that with only a remap Colt with 1.5T can make 200HP (stock=150HP) and with that it could smoked the competition
@@p1nky02 I've driven a ralliart colt and owned a clio sport. The clio still has the colt in the cornerrs. The colt feels sharp and darty to a point but then goes into a safe understeer characteristic when pushed too hard whilst the Clio really likes being pushed at its limits and will move around shifting it's weight around to pivot around a corner. also even with 200hp remap, there still going to be much narrower power band and it's also only a 5 speed too. Possibly would of been there with the clio and tyre R maybe even pipped them for the win but definitely not smoked on track.

Why the Clio is called Lutecia?
The Clio is sold as the Renault Lutecia (ルノー ルーテシア Runō Rūteshia) in Japan because Honda retains the rights to the name Clio after establishing the Honda Clio sales channel in 1984. Lutecia is derived from the word Lutetia, a former Roman city that is now known as Paris.
