@@DAN-hh7ob I have Post nasal drip for 4 months ( because I have so many things going on at the same time ) I didn't think anything about the post nasal drip, until weeks later I recieved a horrible smell. I went to 5 different doctors for the smell alone, they couldn't answer the issue.
My spouse kept saying post nasal drip, I overlooked him for awhile. I just knew I needed help.
So finally I went to ENT and the more I think it about it , it has to be it.
I have a appt tomorrow with ENT for my result test , and I do have nasal issues, and see what
my options are. If I have to have surgery , and give it time, and if that smell goes away ,
I'll know it was my sinuses. I don't smell that odor lately . I'll wait until tomorrow.

My daughter had that issue. It was a structural problem. She had surgery done and it pretty much fixed the problem. At least made it so it was barely there and very livable. Because as you said, it is indeed kind of scary when you can't swallow.

Just started taking beet flow, is it normal to start feeling hunger pains after taking it? I took it as a sign that things are moving cause I’m also feeling so mild discomfort and I saw on your video saving the gallbladder that it’s normal to feel discomfort when thinning bile but haven’t heard you talk about hunger pains.
I bout the ph strips so I will be testing that out today to see if I am getting more alkaline bc I’m used to it always coming back pretty acidic with positive bilirubin

Does anyone on this thread (or anyone reading this thread for that matter) have issues controlling their face symmetrically?
So I have had a form of dysphagia for the past 25 years or so, and now I have it 8-10 times, every meal. It’s not the most fun but there are foods I can still eat that don’t cause an issue.
However the point I’m kind of researching myself and thinking about (as doctors can’t seem to figure out my problem) is could my swallow be a direct causation of non-symmetrical facial control?
For example: On my left side, so can do the following: I can curl my lip; I can blow air into my cheek; I can raise my eyebrow; when I smile my lips show my teeth. I also have stigmatism in the eye, as in I have good vision in my left but not in my right. On my right side of the face I can’t do the above. I have no control. When I smile my right side lower lip doesn’t smile properly.
Maybe that’s all a coincidence, maybe not. I’ve not seen any correlative data on it.
My tongue I can make into shapes; and when I swallow liquid I have a very loud gulp. I mention this because some people on various sources have said that a strong tongue can cause swallowing issues as can a powerful swallow.
For those who’ve managed to stay with me on this, my dysphagia is characterised by an involuntary spasm in my upper oesophagus. It feels below my Adam’s apple. When I swallow food it’s imperative for this contraction to relax before I swallow more food because it becomes overwhelmingly increasingly difficult to relax the oesophagus with each swallow. Often sips of water works but if it doesn’t I have to force myself to be sick and then try again. Most of the time the water allows the pipe to relax but in times that it doesn’t I carry pills of buscopan and I let it dissolve in my gums or I go to A&E and get a muscle relaxant injection.
I’ve had various endoscopies and been observed swallowing but the problem is it’s not 100% there, so sometimes I can eat and nothing happens, other times it’s a real gauntlet.
Just wondering what or if people have experienced alongside their dysphagia?

When the lining changes it could cause precancer cells and that's when you could end up with Barrett disease.
When I had the test for hiatal hernia , the doctor said , it was very small . Not to worry about it , well doctor doesn't' know me, and I will sit around and think it's okay. I'll have it checked like I did .
And I'll visit with the Chiropractor, and teach me how to keep it down , if that's the case.
In the near future I'll have the hiatal hernia checked again. I had the breathing test for H Pylori , it was *Negative*
