I just bought a Corolla Cross Hybrid over a week ago and I couldn't be more happy with it. It has almost every feature I dream of having. I am 6'4" with a high leg to body ratio and I am able to comfortably fit in the driver's seat without needing to move the seat all the way back.

My daughter replaced her past down 2003 Camry with 208 trouble free Kmiles for the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross and she loves it. She searched Honda HRV but bought Toyota knowing how reliable her Camry is and Toyota after sales support from manufacturer, dealers, independent mechanic, spare parts logistics and pricing is superior to all regardless of class or price range. Toyota system is number one and unparalleled.

I have that HRV. And I’ll tell you it’s an amazing car! I’ve only had it for 3 months but I’ve taken it cross country and I have fallen in love with it. The Toyota is nice too. But I like my Honda better.

I ordered a Honda HR-V LX AWD earlier this month. Just waiting for the delivery. I'm excited to get it. Great video.

Shari, we are thoroughly enjoying your videos - they are extremely well-presented. Question - how difficult do you think it would it be (20Aug) to get a 23 Bolt EV in London, ON? thx, Raj

The rear legroom killed the deal for me for the cross. The HRV has 4-5 inches more leg room. I paid a few thousand more for the HRV and loved it so far. The interior space is as large as an accord. I agreed that it isi one of the cars you want to keep for a long time. Don't overlook the rear legroom if you have a small family. Kids grow up fast..

The Honda looks way better to me, but the corolla seems to be the better buy.

We went with a 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross and we love it so far. I didn’t notice that it’s a bit loud until I saw a review for it. You can’t beat Toyota’s reliability and I feel it has a little more pick up than the HRV.

Thanks for the excellent comparison/review of those two vehicles. I hope that you'll do a comparison of their hybrid versions once the Honda HR-V hybrid is available.

i currently have the 2021 hrv and am considering leasing the updated version since I really love my current one. They both seem to be apples for apples the same but, the hrv is larger but the price is higher. The fuel economy is a lil better in the toyota. Guess I will have to look at the color choices and take a test drive to decide

They are both great cars. However for the price and the Corolla name and reputation and build quality, and resale value, it is the Corolla cross for me. But the Honda and cx 50 would be a second choice.

The reasoning does make sense. I had a corolla for 12 years and at 240,000 miles, it still runs great. However the 2023 Honda HR-V does look like a really nice SUV.

You always give a excellent report, thank you. I wish Honda HRV would have the plug in hybrid. America seems to be behind with offering compact suv that are hybrids compared to Europe. I would love the Honda but mpg are not very good. I have a Honda Fit 2007 and love how it handles it was made in Japan.

The pricing for the 2024 models didn't seem to be much different between the two, in my area in southern Ontario but maybe I didn't shop around enough. I just bought a Honda HR-V (LX AWD) for a base price of $31260. To be honest, the wait time was shorter (I got it in 3 weeks vs what would've been much longer for a Corolla Cross) which mattered as my current vehicle was experiencing mechanical issues. Loving it so far! Thanks for your great videos
