Love all the information!! Seems like more people watch my embroidery videos than my quilting videos, but when I ask in my community which videos they (my viewers) would like to see me make no one responds 🤦♀️
That’s where analytics, the grouping feature specifically, is helpful. It shows how people are responding without needing them to say anything.

Good info. Now I just wish youtube would let us change the thumbnail on our shorts when we forget to set it cause they're really good at picking a frame that's not as good as it could be.

1. How can we access this nice comment section feature that just popped up when I sent this comment. And 2, I wonder if TH-cam would make a feature where we can track the percentage of who watches your videos on A TV & Who Watches Them On Mobile. And if this feature is already out where could I find it ✊✊😆
You can find the tv/mobile info under “devices” in your analytics in advanced mode. You can find the “comment guidelines” in your settings area where I was showing upload defaults and some other things.

this might be the place to ask. i remember being able to see the CTR for subscribers and non subscribers separately. do you or any1 no how to get to that metric, or am i just crazy and that was never a thing?

These are great tips, although, I can't locate the Audience Segments information.
It’s in your audience retention reports. If you’re on a phone you’ll need to access the back end of your channel using desktop mode in Chrome.
Do you have any advice on a mentor of sorts for folks who have limited funds?
Everything you need to know is freely available on my channel. But if you need personalized assistance on a budget you might want to join a group program like Roberto Blake’s Awesome Creator Academy. But, before you join anything I recommend making sure you have the basics covered so you don’t waste money on just getting up to speed with best practices.
Could I have help? My last vid did atrocious but I thought it was my best video. What did I do wrong?
The thumbnail looks inconsistent compared to your other videos. If there are people that like watching your content I’m not sure they would have known it was yours.

When you talk about features it would be helpful to know if they are on mobile.
I mentioned that at the beginning of the video and said I would share the video on how to find them. You can access everything in this video on mobile.

Excuse me Please, if I upload a short video on my TH-cam channel and this video has a yellow eye tag and it also says that it is banned in some areas, my question is when I make this video private but still have the yellow eye tag on it will there be a risk to my channel? You should be fine. It just means for whatever reason, the video cannot be shown in all countries. This is usually due to music or other content in the video that you might have in the video. This is similar to a copyright claim, so it won't adversely effect your channel.

If the channels are under the same Google account, there would be that possibility. If they are separate Google accounts linked only for Family Premium, that might be a different story.

No, I do not work for TH-cam.
How do I get to Audience Retention page? Clicking Analytics and then Audience takes me somewhere other than where you were.
Click on analytics and then engagement and then scroll down the page. You’ll see it at the bottom. Then click into “see more” to dig in.
@NickNimmin Strange. I click Analytics and don't see Engagement anywhere. On the right side of the screen there's "Latest content," and under that video it says, "See Video Analytics." When I click that, I see "Engagement." Weird, but I found it.
Or, if I click on a video, then "Analytics," "Engagement" is right there. I missed the part to click on a video first 🤦🏽♀️.

Because they just show up. People don’t have to make the choice to click.

It’s my content, not the algorithm. Sometimes I put in more effort than other times.
