I used to like coldplay especially the first 3 albums of their career. Not of a fan of later poppier stuff including the new song.
Honestly one of the highlights of Glastonbury. In the sun everyone singing it was beautiful.

His voice is just amazing. It's incredible how some songs transcend time and generations, and every time you hear them, it feels like it's the first. I saw an interview with him, and he said he hired a holiday caravan and drove it himself to park at Glastonbury. He described how the entire time he was driving, he was preoccupied with the thought of why it had such tiny wheels and how they were holding up the caravan and taking him where he needed to go. Sometimes, we become so focused on what is sustaining the journey that we forget to enjoy the ride.

This is one of those songs that became a classic and it brings so many good memories. A masterpiece, for sure.
It seems only the blink of an eye ago I was sat in my sister’s room with a friend who I’d met whilst travelling in South East Asia. I was 20 - just a baby and now I’m 40 and I have no idea how twenty years have passed.
And how much simpler life was back then. O simple thing - where have you gone?

This song reminds me of the times I had growing up with my dearest friends in Church Lawford. It was the best time of my life. Life moves on and people have moved on and in some instances passed away. I’ll always remember those times and cherish them deeply. Love you Matty R and all the guys I don’t speak to anymore. The world is a big place. Love you all 👍🍻

What a powerful song. I have always thought that we all have a emotive history with this song. In my case I am a medical doctor and around 2016 a pregnant woman was bleeding seriously and the medical team saved her life with this song playing during the surgery. It was beautiful
