Can I ask for some guidance to the mark scheme? Where you have, for instance, a question worth 2 marks and the mark scheme lists 1, 2, 3 points, are you to assume that listing any two of the three secures both marks, or that you have to list all three? You seem to operate by the former rule, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks for these awesome resources.
And where you have five potential points to make (in a three mark question), do you lose marks for listing three relevant points and an additional incorrect point (where the mark scheme doesn't specifically say IGNORE)?
Hi! You can't lose marks for an irrelevant point unless the mark scheme says "reject". If it says "reject" then you'll lose all the marks for the question no matter what else you put :)

This was an amazing summary, it really helped with revision when I already know a bit of the topic. Thank you for this

Yes you're right! As long as the mark scheme says "Any two from:"
@@AlevelBiologyHelp Thanks, that's good to know!
Hi,
For question 2 part c, would I still get the marks if I said transcription factor instead of receptor?
You would because the oestrogen receptor is a transcription factor. :)

@@AlevelBiologyHelp Also excellent.
@@AlevelBiologyHelp even if some of the points are relevant?
@@Zen_Zen_Zense Yes , if the mark scheme says "reject" :(
@@AlevelBiologyHelp oh no :/, thanks for the info nonetheless!
I’m question 2 part c where it says receptors is that still referring to the transcription factor?
Yes :)
great video!
