Reparing Roof after Tree Fell

I have something similar to repair. Would it be better to hire a General Contractor or a Roofing Contractor ?

If you feel you can’t do it yourself you can hire either or a local handyman. I did this repair as a handyman job as opposed to my remodel categories.
Check Google or Angie’s List for “handyman near me” and check the reviews.

Couldn't you have just been able to use some h clips to support the patches instead of boards on the inside?

Thanks, I have some minor repair to do myself and this helped me get an idea of how to go about it.
