I saw an insane ad on somewhere the other day where they tell you to put something important in your car so you don’t forget your child ? I would have thought the child was the most important thing 🤷♀️
There was a woman who lived in the same area as me who did this. She had a disabled boy of 5 and a baby who was 10 months. The disabled boy needed some professional help through a special hospital in town and the mom was stressed out about it and was getting multiple calls from staff about her son during sleeping hours. She went to work one morning and sometime in the afternoon she was notified by her supervisor that her husband was wondering where the daughter was because she hadn’t been dropped off at daycare. She said that in that very moment she knew what she had done. She ran out of work and found her daughter had passed inside the hot car. She was guilt ridden and heartbroken. She was not allowed to have her son back because of what had happened. These people lived in a beautiful home and from what I saw were very nice people. I think it’s possible to have it happen purely by accident and not by neglect. Every situation is different though and I don’t know the full story of the woman in this video. I pray for healing for everyone.

Suddenly she slammed on the breaks & returned to the library, in a panic! She'd forgotten 5 year old me!!! I was still sitting where she'd left me, quietly looking at a book. What is your definition of negligence? Listen carefully to the prosecutor’s explanation of the various charges the jury must consider. An accident is when a kid wets their pants. That’s what Rhonda did after the parboiled baby was discovered. 🔥🥵😱
The stupidity and lack of awareness of some people is beyond belief. In this time and age, you would think people would learn from other people's mistakes, but they don't.
I don't believe the defendant's story. Having worked for years investigatiing cases for sentencing purposes for Superior Courts, I believe the defendant intentionality left the baby in the car.because she was in a rush to arrive on time to meet with the second mother, and intended to go back and get the baby. I believe she got distracted by the other kids and forgot. She also changed her testimony. Initially agreed the Burger King was about 3 minutes's from baby's house then to make her story about forgetting more plausible changed and said it was about 10 minutes away. Ultimately whatever the reason it was her failure that led to the baby's death and she needs to be held accountable.
The children never get justice!! It’s so sad!! A child is dead due to her negligence but she will be home with her family while the child’s family will be having to endure the holidays without their little girl!! But oddly there was no objections, this is a crazy case!!
She should get a minimum of 30 years in Prison or there's no justice. There's no real justice regardless, especially a weak one. Real justice takes place in the afterlife
This is what I don't understand. WHY would a person leave a helpless child in a hot car? If there was a motive, what would that look like? WHY would you put the child's parents through a trial? Finally, why would you refuse a drug test? And if you refuse, isn't a blood draw legally allowed in a criminal case?
This as a young mother 40 years ago, I always put my handbag next to the car seat to remind myself - it scared me then as this of course is not the first case of leaving a child in a car.😢

I feel sorry for this lady. I feel horrible that this happened but I truly believe it was an accident. A baby is gone and as a mom and grandmother I pray that it never happens to anyone close to me. Such a sad tragedy.
Unforgivable neglect.
I feel for everyone here. There was no malice in this woman’s heart yet at the end of the day, a sweet baby died due to her negligence. I see her tears as genuine, her heartache as consuming. But for the parents, there is an eternal loss and they deserve the solace of seeing some legal accountability. What a sad, awful situation.
Well said
NO malice are you kidding. She murdered a baby. She is a horrible person.
@DieScreaming thanks for letting me know that. She murdered a baby.
She could have been on drugs! She refused a drug test! Very sus! I have zero empathy for her!
@@DieScreaming take your gibberish elsewhere. Thank you
She should do 20 years for murdering that sweet little baby girl.
She Refused a Drug test I would've found her Guilty.
ABSOLUTELY
She refused a drug test?!?! Yep, she was on meds 💯
Yes she was on drugs I bet!!! Big problem in this country! They pass out for hours from meth! She did something hidden from this trial!
@@Lorri-dr4ftmeds???? Likely meth! Passed out for 5 hours from a hit!
More like opioids.
I think she was definitely sorry and definitely didn’t intentionally leave baby girl but because she was her responsibility that’s where the negligence came in.. praying for everyone involved
I agree. As sad and horrific as these cases are I’ve come to realize that bad things happen without intention. Heart breaks for all.
i agree
How do you forget a child?
Agree
Yes she did I don't Believe the other lady was OK with her bringing a 10 month to her home to be babysitting. She left the baby trying to hide her that why she Texted "she's gone".and forgot the baby.
She wasn't shaking.
Thank you! Said the exact same thing. I didn't see any shaking that they speak of 😏
Same! Some performative crap but no shaking.
Didn't see any crying either.
Click baiting is what these titles are 🙄 😒 😤
She was a little bit
Its about time people are being charged for these types of crimes..
I don't understand her being on bond with a guilty verdict on counts 2&3 either. Would have thought bond would have been been revoked. She could flee back to Columbia couldn't she??
Agree! Should of been remanded immediately!
Why Columbia?
Never seen this allowed.
It’s actually pretty common before sentencing
@@victoriabrown7566assuming shes from there
Did it ever come out why she asked the mother "what door are you at?" The mother always went to the same door. Day in, day out.
She likely remembered that the baby was forgotten when mom was knockingn and then calling and wanted to get to the baby first. So she hoped mom was at a different door and not the front door..
"FORGOT" IS NO EXCUSE!
As a parent I would check on my babies every 5 min and especially if everything is very quiet !
I hope she is never aloud to look after children again. Maybe if she has children for them to be taken away from her, as she is not safe to look after children.
@@DieScreamingor you know, *allowed.
I wouldn't hire her
NO tears at all, that crying part was horrible and no tears again but she not only had a job to do but was a family friend.
Why does she get to remain out on bond??
I'm wondering the same thing. She faces life in prison and is a convicted murderer! It makes me think she's not going to get much time at all
The minimum sentence is 10.333 years and maximum is 15 years for 3rd degree murder in Florida. You're mistaken.
@kgrimes842 10.333 year minimum and 15 year maximum for 3rd degree felony murder in florida. Not life. Which means she could be out in less than 9 years if she gets minimum sentence
I saw an insane ad on somewhere the other day where they tell you to put something important in your car so you don’t forget your child ? I would have thought the child was the most important thing 🤷♀️
I can't help but think she'll end up getting the charge dropped, and end up doing ZERO time,
the lack of responsibility is sickening.
I Pray The Bondsman Let Her Stay Locked Up Because She’s Now Definitely A Flight Risk
I do not agree
How sad... omg.
My Mom was at the library once. She left, actually drove away, and got this nagging feeling that she'd forgotten something...
Suddenly she slammed on the breaks & returned to the library, in a panic!
She'd forgotten 5 year old me!!!
I was still sitting where she'd left me, quietly looking at a book.
I never knew she'd even left either!!! 😂.
So yes, forgetting is one thing, but for hours upon hours???
@@abelis644Oh no 😂😂😂, I agree. Forgetfulness is a thing but FIVE HOURS while texting with the mother?!
@@empressannjam1Exactly, me either!! Idk how people even try to make sense of it. & you ever think about how you never hear about kids being left in the car during winter months...kids are never found frozen to death. Its cause these parents/care takers are careless. How did she remember to get the grocery bags out & contact the mom but fogot that precious baby
Skill issue
This is why I don’t trust anyone outside of my family with my baby
It’s horrible when headlines sensationalized the truth. She’s not a murderer. She did not murder that sweet little baby. Though her actions caused the death of the baby, does not make her a murderer.
By definition:
To 'kill' means to make someone or something die. 'Murder' refers to the crime of deliberately causing someone's death.
Everyone in YT comment sections are so bloodthirsty and get worked up calling everyone murderers, they have no critical thinking skills or ability to see nuance and it makes me feel that we are slowly devolving back into a Wild West vigilante society
She refused a drug test at the scene declined the plea deal I hope she gets the maximum. I think she fell asleep or passed out either way completely negligent
You killed an infant because of you own negligence….what did you expect to happen ma’am….guilty‼️
You sound elated. 😮

Weird, very. Elated during a tragedy .. you must be one of those uneducated Magas. Watch out for your Karma, you wouldn't want to have an accident. 🐖
@@Fatatua Why shouldn't she? Justice was served.
@@catherinewandera8790
Why shouldn't who do what?
She was only two months shy of her first birthday. That woman is a monster.
My heart breaks for the family of the baby & the woman on trial. She’s not a cold blooded killer. She made a tragic mistake. Praying for everyone involved.
Totally agree
How the heck she gets bonded out until sentencing!!
How absolutely disgraceful
This is what I don't understand.
WHY would a person leave a helpless child in a hot car?
If there was a motive, what would that look like?
WHY would you put the child's parents through a trial?
Finally, why would you refuse a drug test?
And if you refuse, isn't a blood draw legally allowed in a criminal case?
If you faxed the mother twice while the baby was in the car. How on earth did that just not trigger a reflex thought about that poor baby?????😢😢😢😢.
I’ve never understood and maybe never will but how do you forget about a child in a car
Sorry to parents in this horrific tragedy resulting in the loss of their beautiful daughter.
Maybe she will forget to turn up to court for sentencing
This as a young mother 40 years ago, I always put my handbag next to the car seat to remind myself - it scared me then as this of course is not the first case of leaving a child in a car.😢
You used your handbag to remind yourself that you had a baby? Wow, just wow. I never ever needed anything to remind me that I had a child, or three or grandchildren, cos you know I’m a responsible adult!
My heart goes out to the parents not only for the loss of their very beautiful baby but the fact they were made to go through this extreme heartbreak all over again. 💔🙏🏼
Prayers to the family. RIP Ariya❤
Ignorance of the law is not a defense.
That baby cannot be out on bond because she is dead. Jail her for 20 years
I looked it up. She must serve a minimum of 10 yrs. and maximum of 15 for 3rd degree felony murder, which is what she was found guilty of.
I dont see her shaking like the title suggests
Remain on Bond? WTF
It’s mind-boggling people NEVER forget their cell phones when getting out of their vehicles, but can’t seem to remember a child? Maybe put the cell phones on the backseat I bet they wouldn’t forget then?
So very sad for all involved, prayers to both families. I feel and fear she will end up taking her own life. ❤
Narcissists never do. She will be just fine where she belongs.
Justice & Brook, my prayers are with yall frfr 😢. Smh my condolences
No sympathy for this woman, none at all.
Terribly sad! I’m in agreement how could she not remember the child after the first text?! Prayers for all families.
EXACTLY. If she had genuinely forget the child, this would have reminded her to go get the baby. It was her habit to leave the baby in the car for as long as possible so she could be on her phone texting and scrolling. On this particular day, she left her in the hot car too long.
😢 I don't get how you forget a child in the car.
Prayers to both families 💔
Lives destroyed by one careless moment
Prayers for the little one's family🙏🙏

She’s crying for herself. Rip to that sweet girl
🙏🏽🙏🏽 for everyone involved. Had she had the baby everyday, it would be different. I believe that this was a tragic human error as painful as this situation is 🙏🏽
or even if she had placed her in the car herself.
If you think it was an error I hope you never are responsible for children
@ I will accept and understand that. As a human being I hope you never make a huge mistake.
Agreed
She picked the baby up then texted the Mother at 8:17 it doesn’t make sense
When a child dies at the hands of this kinda of stuff why are the people still allowed to live
One word Guilty!
Hey now, be nice
Why would she still be out on bond and not taken into immediate custody?
I think she left the child to sleep and then forgot the child. Just like the recent case with the father married to dr.
How do you forget a child for that long? 😔😢🥀🙏🏽
No. The father married to the doctor was playing video games and left the child in the car. Both are guilty and were negligent. It wasn't an accident either way.
&& he had a habit of leaving the baby in the car. Theres audio of the wife saying "i told u to stop doing that" smh crazy
@@ItsBrittany. Exactly and she bailed him out. She said he made a mistake but it's not a mistake if he was doing it on a regular basis.
I do not..he had a habitual pattern of doing that..he knowingly left his child. This woman did no such thing
I think she left a sleeping baby in the car and then forgot.
Child .
It's so heartbreaking
No excuse for that babysitter
How are you going to forget a baby in a car when they make noises all the time….
I don’t think she meant to hurt the baby but prayers for everyone involved and may that baby rest in peace :(
I think she did. How do you forget a child in the car?
What was her motive???@@Just.D
@ I have no idea I do think it was the highest level of negligence I just don’t see what reason she would have to do that on purpose but I could definitely be wrong
