Everyone knows NOT to leave a baby in a hot car. So many news reports of babies dying this way, there is no excuse. She was just trying to make her life easier by leaving baby to sleep in the car, imo. Not a competent babysitter and more stringent rules need to be put in place to check for common sense before being given a care giver status. I don't think she did it on purpose either. Why she forgot the child doesn't really matter. It would be decent of her to say I am guilty and will pay for it.
@rockerchick6168 SHE REFUSED the plea deal. Therefore, she FACES 30 YEARS if convicted. Her TEXTING MOM TWICE as well as TEXTING THE AUNT PROVES MALICE MURDER!! Get your FACTS STRAIGHT!!
She absolutely left the baby in the car on purpose, but didn't think she would die from it. She knew she would be held accountable for the death, she's the one in charge of her care. For whatever reason, she didn't want to deal with that baby, that day... But it went horribly wrong
There's something she is not telling. Either she was on drugs or having an affair. Something else was going on if she really accidentally forgot the baby.
Her text to Broke was catty nonsense about Stacy. She was distracted by the nonsense texts and her phone and not getting Burger King. A horrible negligence that will cost her at least 15-20 years.
I think she isn't saying she left baby in car on purpose because she was asleep and thought she'd let her sleep a while...then she got distracted by something and the forgot. I don't believe she forgot straight away and I think that is what she's not admitting to.
I wouldn’t have been able to speak/be calmed if I had done this accidentally. She’s sitting there like they’re talking about a hamster getting out of its cage and being hurt. She doesn’t even care that she is the cause of that baby being DEAD.

Agree.. prob wanted to not wake her YET and went in to house intended to come back but took some substance/drug and fell asleep until mom called to pick up baby
This is the scenario that makes the most sense. If she hadn’t texted mom I could maybe think she was being truthful but texting mom would trigger thoughts of the baby
She either genuinly forgot the baby in the car or she left her there because she didn’t want to wake her, realized she was dead before the mom came to pick her up, decided to leave her in the car dead and acted surprised when the mom came for her, but she was so nerveous she asked what door she was at, when there was no reason to ask that
I think she asked the mother what door she was at because she instantly remembered the baby was in the car when the mother called to say she was there to pick her up. She panicked and hoped she could sneak out and grab the baby so the mother would not realize she had left her in the car. Mrs. Page was at the front door so that was not going to work and Mrs Jewell ran out to rescue her..only to discover Aryia had already died.
@@frndofbear Parents should constantly ask for an update throughout the day re the child, especially in this digital age. Something is off she could not have forgotten see just saw brook when she text her ! ! Something is completely does not match ! Too much crying without tears
Not making excuses for her but there are specialists who have studied this exact thing. When a routine is disrupted (stopping for g*ddammed breakfast is a common problem), parents have forgotten they had kids in the car and driven straight to work on autopilot. The brain resorts to "the norm" and Arayah wasn't part of this woman's norm, she only did it occasionally. I don't understand why they're making her out to be malicious. I was thinking the same thing! Maybe the baby was sleeping, she was only ten months old! My first question would have been did you have any alcohol in your system? How do you forget a baby after only say 20 minutes?
"This is normal for us to text everyday”: so you lied to Aria’s mom then at @8:17. What kind of babysitting ethic is that telling her the baby is okay when she is not under your care?! This is another level of evil, not an accident at this point! The contempt that she clearly demonstrated to Aria by her behaviour that day is despicable! The DA is doing an amazing job! NO one with two brain 🧠🧠 cells ever leaves a baby in a car.
@cherry-love2024 This has happened on numerous occasions by dads with their own children. So, dad brings and because it’s not his normal morning routine baby is forgotten and is in car all day by dad’s work.
Many daycares have implemented a plan to avoid such tragedies. If child doesn’t show up, and no one has called to inform daycare that child will be absent, then the daycare will contact parent(s) to check on child.

She is going to prison because she ‘forgot?’ baby in the car. Something in this lady happened in her brain that she ‘forgot?’ In my opinion she neglected this baby on that day to the point of her death in a hot car.
WHY did you plead
Not guilty then? And make her mother and everyone go through this pain … all over again. Talk about selfish :-( 😢
100%
You're right. She didn't want to care for that beautiful baby for 5 hours and instead wanted to go on trial for 2nd degree murder. You are a genius!
@ wtf does that even mean 🙄🙄
Exactly!
She must have been on drugs !!!!??????
I guess every parent will have to call immediately to FaceTime w/child .
She not only threw the baby out with the bath water, she flooded the entire house
