You wait for four months and it is over in 42 amazing minutes. This is the single TH-cam channel where I consume every single minute fully concentrated watching first chance I get the duration of the video of uninterrupted time available. Thank you.
Saw this was posted while I was at work at I was so sad I couldn’t tune into the premier. Just like you, I’d rather wait until I have time to myself where I can kick back, crack open a beer, and be fully invested in these videos for the entire length. What a great channel.
You really could have your own series on Netflix. Your story telling is second to none. I am not ashamed to repeat myself over and over, absolutely the best content on TH-cam.
Nice show. Flying into Philly from Miami a century ago in a DC 9 30, Philly below limits. Went to Dulles and filled up. Did a Cat II into Philly. Flew to Wilkes-Barre for layover several hours late. Fire alarm in hotel went off in the wee hours and I was on the sidewalk. Eventually back to sleep. Everybody diverted to Dulles and we were the last to cross the OM with legal weather. A dozen others landed below minimums because there was no where else to go with east coast fog.
@@CockpitCasual this is why it's so important during an emergency evacuation on a plane to have your backpack on the ready, so when you do need to hop off the plane you aren't slowing anyone down
The videos in this series are the only long videos on youtube I stand to watch through in full without skipping. Excellent story telling and editing. This needs to be a Netflix series.
The only channel that I allow notifications of new videos. Wow. The wait was worth it. Another tremendous video. One can only daydream about the experiences you guys have on these trips flying around the world,. Your presentation makes me feel as if I'm there flying along. Thank you. Look forward to the next trip. Please keep up the great work,.
This channel as I have said before blows everything else out of the water, Steve and Bob's narrating and editing is so first class, and with there incredible experience and close friendship works so well together. I understand there output is only a few per year but that what helps make this channel so riveting, good work lads and thanks for doing all this, so apricated👍
The best content on TH-cam right now! Watching two friends complete the best job in the world - it’s awesome! Music is elite, story telling is mega and the humour is right up my street! Please keep these going 🎉
Simply beautiful. I barely cried out of sheer inspiration, because oh man, what a piece of art. Congratulations, the editing and storytelling is getting better each time.
Honestly wait for months on end for new videos and every time i see a new notification from you guys i get excited to sit and watch 30 or 40 minutes of av geek heaven. Please keep making content for long time to come. This is one of my favorite channels.
Great video. As a retired corporate pilot I can still remember the original, the jet commander. It’s amazing what that turned into. Goes to show you how old I am, being able to remember being around to see those. Never flew one, but know plenty of people that did. They told me it was a love hate thing. Some loved it, while the others hated it. We’re talking about the original jet commander, not what you have. Sure looks like they made a hot rod out of it.
I’ve spent many years doing long/ultra long haul, but what you guys do as a crew of 2 is next level! And to top it off, Bob shows off by doing a visual capped off with a greaser😮. I’m not worthy. Great video production & jazz soundtrack as always. Keep up the good work fellas.
It was like Rutger Hauer reincarnated into an FAA certified vintage type trainer. 👍🏻 That C17 thrust reverse taxi is something you don’t see everyday. Thanks. Another great vid and bonus hotel evacuation. It was the yearly live drill they never advertise. 😂
I went into medicine as my mom was always afraid of me being a pilot. From the age of 3, I loved everything airplane alas, I didn’t do my dream job, pilot! Thank you for making live my dream through your channel.
Gloriously well put together, this is the ONLY youtube channel that I watch on my TV as opposed to my laptop - it deserves it. Brilliant episode as usual.
Another fantastic surprise this evening, sitting down with some food and hitting youtube to see another cockpit casual. Thanks to Steve and everyone else who makes these happen, your style, presentation and creativeness is far superior to anything seen. Would love to see some more 787 endeavours.
I have to say, the jet is just like a Toyota car, not the most beautiful one in the world but reliable. My heart just skipped a beat when you said that Bob slept through the fire alarm, thankfully it was a false alarm. Have a gerat day and thank you for the video.
Thanks! I have a lot of fun in the making of these videos. Steve puts his heart, soul and an enormous amount of work into editing and producing these episodes.
@@CaptBob_Nomadic I can see that! It's a joy to watch you guys and it's mighty impressive to see how you guys can just adapt to planes like that. Can't wait for the next episode and thanks for giving people like me an deep insight into something I had no idea about!
Awesome stuff. I'm a CFI that just cracked 500 hours. I've done a handful of ferry trips, the longest being over 1055 nm in a day.. flying a tiny single engine airplane over some beautiful landscapes was one of the most rewarding journeys in my aviation career. I look up to guys like you, and seeing you thrive and do cool shit like this just reaffirms how much I love aviation. Blue skies and tailwinds to the nomadic team, hope you know that as a young aviator there are many like myself that look up to you.
My Dad was Chief Pilot of a corporate 1124 Westwind based in Van Nuys, CA in the late 70's and early 80's. I worked on the line crew at The Jet Center, the FBO. Very fond memories of that jet and thank you for the video. Peter
Congratulations - the Westwind II was way ahead of its time in performance and range. The newer version, G280, has propelled Gulfstream order books. General Dynamics subsidiary Gulfstream Aerospace delivered 35 aircraft (28 large-cabin jets and seven midsize G280s). I speak about this in my own experience with the Westwind II in my memoir "Tailor-made to Fly". Available in bookstores and online/audiobooks Q3 2024. As I shared on my LinkedIn post, this is way better viewing than any TV or news channel 🚀
Best aviation channel period. My wife knows the character names and watches as she makes fun of me, and pretends not to like it. Really awesome channel
Epic episode, maybe even the best so far. Fantastic video footage, great storytelling, wonderful music. This is a must-see, I'm sure even non-avgeeks will like this one. Thank you so much for sharing your flying adventures with the rest of the world!
I would like to complement you on the quality of the narration and video editing, truly top notch. Thank you for a very pleasant 45 minutes. For what it worth, I’ve always liked the looks of the Westwinds.

I’m binging on this channel. I haven’t flown in 12 years and grew a fear of flying after some bad turbulence. Watching these guys do what they do have chilled me out and am ready to fly in 2 weeks now!
As a former airline puke with 4 type ratings (I'm not worthy), I recall my Airbus days very fondly. The long, all-night AF flying in C-141s burned the eyeballs, but I wouldn't change a thing. What an amazing plane this Westwind is, another epic episode on the best aviation channel. Looking forward to more amazing content, thank you so much for sharing.
