I agree, at some point this becomes like a hallucinated dream. I can totally imagine showing this in some chill out scene in a busy electronic dance party where people would come and relax, looking at some beautiful footage and high spirited electronic music.

just stumbled across this channel today and for the non pilot, a channel that has videos of casually flying wide body jets all over is beyond comprehension. Hi guys, great show, well done.
Takes me back many years flying the 74 classic cargo across Asia, trays of great satay and fruit from Bangkok on the pedestal for hours and steak out of Sydney.
Don't miss the hours of Bombay and Burma HF , diverting off the airway for cb's in Southern China and getting yelled at by ATC that we would be intercepted, we ended up flying over Laos airspace( without clearance cause northern Laos had no ATC) than for diversion b4 back on airway, glad to be in Hongkong safe and sound.
Now mainly North and South America's , enjoying the topography there, it's gorgeous ( Quito, BA, Bog etc).
Enjoy guy's because before you know it's over, time travels fast.
    Many happy landings!

This is exactly the kind of flights I do on flight sim - as a college student, I often don't have long blocks of time to set aside for "proper" long haul flights (not that watching after an autopilot for 12 hours sounds appealing in the first place, but I digress...) but putting aside an hour or two for a quick flight is something that I can do.
I've devised a horrid plan to fly across the world in 300-1000nm legs, and I might end up doing it over the next few months.
You're literally living my dream, and I find myself fairly jealous of it lol
btw your taste in music is 11/10

@@CockpitCasual The fact that your father had performed all of these songs and you're now able to use them in your own content is amazing, it's always a musician's dream to have their work featured in someone else's work.
And maybe I'll try and recreate this trip someday in the future, I'm still figuring my way through the controls (more so blundering, but progress is progress lol) and one day I hope to recreate this journey c:

Thanks! It’s a Ralph Towner tune that my dad’s “spacetet” group covered.

@@CockpitCasual These creations are a total work of art. As an old jazzer and avgeek myself it doesn't get any better!

Nothing but awesome! Perfect story telling that’s giving me geography lessons at the same time. Can’t wait for part 3! Well done.
Oh, and you got to love a Tim Tam!

Not to be dramatic, but this is award winning documentary stuff. Blown away. You should think about submitting this to a network or for some Sundance type of thing. Well done and thank you!

Thanks! Will see what happens. Maybe if the channel takes off and one of the videos goes viral, something like this will be possible🤷🏻‍♂️

    Great episode as always!
Greeting from Muscat, Oman. Glad you had a short but good time in Oman. If you ever have a chance try traversing Oman from south it's much scenic that way especially if you follow the coast. Also, would be my pleasure to show you guys around Muscat if I ever get a chance to.

Super long. Especially since Covid. The best part of the job was getting out every few hours and seeing different parts of the world. For now, it’s more mundane and the days are VERY challenging due to restrictions. Things seem to be moving in the right direction now - thank god
