This channel is by far the greatest aviation channel out there. The cinematography combined with the calming music and not to mention youre fantastic narration never fails to indulge me. Hope and cant wait to see more content!
Steve I love your videos, I wish I could’ve been a 787/777 pilot. So your videos give me the sensation that I, in some estrange way, achieved my dream. Thank your sharing them.
Oh my lord. I am a ful blown AV geek and just came across this channel. I think I'm gonna stay up all night and binge watch all the episodes. So detailed with great narration and visuals, this channel is truly a hidden gem.
Me too… just discovered this channel and after watching the first Video, I subscribed to the channel. Never have I done such a thing on any aviation Channel…. That speaks volumes!
I was fortunate to fly the 757s in this video when they were brand new at American. What a treat to fly a brand new airplane. AA made a deal with Boeing to trade in the RenoAir MD-80s and purchased 20 brand new 757s in the early 2000s. When AA started to draw down the 757 fleet it identified 36 airplanes that they would keep for hot and high operations and naturally these newest 757s made the cut. They were operated until covid accelerated their early retirement. It is nice to see these relatively "new" airplanes continue in service instead of being dismantled. Great video, thank you for sharing!
Wow small world! 5ET, I volunteered with this 757 and the CRJ700 at kids day in LGA in 14' This was the first 757 to get painted in the new colors, it was quite the surprise that day. This really is full circle. The 757 is missed by many. Thank you for making these fantastic videos.
Everything about this series is brilliant. The music, the voiceover, the cinematography, the story, the characters, all of it. Thank you for taking the time to make it and for sharing it.
As someone who typically doesn’t board a flight that lasts any longer than an hour, I just can’t get enough of your videos. Steve, you’re a great storyteller. And the music! Please don’t stop making these!
This was a nice way to start my Sunday!! As a flying Crew Chief in the Air Force, I got to visit many of the places in this video. Never in a 7 day period though. Thanks for the memories!!!

Hats off to you guys, being a truck driver in the UK,and on limited driving hours,I’m amazed how you manage to do the hours you do . Love the channel, more content please.
What a gem your channel is, I'm just amazed by the quality of the videos! I'm probably subscribed to far too many aviation related channels and I'm amazed just how much better your videos are. The camera work is gorgeous and the jazz music oh so soothing. It feels like I'm sitting in a bar with an old friend, listening to his stories. The music choice for the part of the video from Xiamen to Naples was really special. The dirty guitars perfectly encapsulated how you guys just have felt at that point. No proper sleep for days while flying an airplane. These videos are just such a breath of fresh air. No over the top narration, no click bait titles, just someone passionate to tell their story!
Awesome awesome video. I’m a pilot with Atlas. Flown the 747/757/767 and now the 777 for several ACMIs. This video is basically my life for the last 16 years.
I love your Cockpit Casual and am always excited whenever I get notification of a new episode. You and Bob have the coolest job's in all of commercial aviation!
This was one of my favorite cockpit casuals so far. It’s always the highlight of the day when a new cockpit casual comes out. Can’t wait to see more of the Westwind.
Steve. You guys are the best. Totally love these videos. Am not a pilot but should have been. Keep it up! You and Bob are great! Cheers. Jay. Let me know when ur in Portsmouth.
By far one of the greatest aviation channels on TH-cam. Informative and relaxing to watch. Awesome to see Steve is also an ASU grad. Keep doing what you are doing, we all love it. You guys are like the Green Berets of the aviation ferry world, very cool and the hard and tiring work doesn’t go unnoticed. 👍🏼👊🏼
Excellent job once again. Thank you for the video. For as clean as that windshield was the rest of the airplane was so dirty with bird poop and fluid leaks. LOL. When you're dog tired and asking yourself why you do this just remind yourself many of us would give our left testicle to do what you do. Safe flights, my friend.
I have only two requests: 1) Never stop doing those videos. (A lazy sunday, I´m flying my a320 simulator and watching this. It´s more fun) 2) Keep the GREAT sound track. They´re excelent jazz musicians.
Fantastic video Steve, thank you so much. 787 is a great plane but 747 still the best I have ever flown in. Flew with the SAA 747s to Miami, New York, Taipei, Hong Kong, London and Munich from SAA. In those days passengers could visit the cockpit. Was privileged to spend 12 hours in the jump seat en route to Taipei.😊😊👌. Bob and his passport was hilarious😂😂. Keep up the good work👍🇿🇦
Man, it’s only been seven weeks and I already miss the 756 like crazy. That having been said, I’m totally falling in love with the triple. I envy you two the variety.

I have no idea how my husband came across this or how we havent seen your videos before, but we were very into it, and super surprised to hear you even say Xiamen, let alone fly to it! We were able to show our babies the little island they were born on from an aerial view! Especially nostalgic for us and special to see our little island and airport that we were lucky to call home for four years. The rest of the video is super exquisite, too- love the constant background music adding to the experiences. Very cinematic; what an adventure. Well done!
On this side of the business we work very closely with the engineers. Have learned a lot, and continue to keep several on speed dial as we often have to troubleshoot in the field using video calls etc to attempt to get things moving rather than waiting days/weeks to get someone on-site in obscure locations! We aren’t your typical 121 pilots for sure.
I love the jazz music on this video. I had a copy of the trac to listen to while I'm driving in the car or to play at home while unwinding from work. It is soothing and pleasant. Your dad is a wonderful musician, and I hope you tell him that sometimes I play your videos just to listen to it.
For a glimpse, you both kinda reminded of Maverick and Goose. This channel is by far the best av channel I've come across.Never saw this side of pilots- flying arliners very casually. Thank you for taking us with you guys around the globe ❤
