My father flew BAQ When it was RMA At Ansett airlines in the seventies . He and others flew it from Australia to the US For its freighter conversion. It’s great she still flying this many years later .. ❤
Joe's cockpit CRM worries me... That's a toxic attitude to have in the cockpit, leading to accidents because your co-pilot is afraid to speak up when he/she sees something they don't like.
Joe is one of the reasons why plane accidents still occur due to CRM. The absolute lack of CRM, steep cockpit gradient, saying useless “tips” during takeoff. None of it was useful feedback and it only added to another thing that the PF has to divide his attention between during the takeoff. The PF probably went to school to fly that dinosaur, so let him fly. Something tells me that the reason why Joe is freezing himself in that icebox is because he doesn’t play well with others when they don’t consider him “gods gift to aviation” like he does.
Joe's a horrible captain. wants maintenance and ramp to be safe and go by the book but he himself is the biggest danger as soon as he's in the cockpit. not CRM being followed, everytihng has to be done his way and his way only. If he wasn't so far out he'd be out of a job faster than he says "I can fly this plane perfectly by myself". Literal boomer attitude. the rules don't apply to him because he's something better...
Not necessarily. I can see how you came to that conclusion, but it would be safer to have some thrust, and thereby air rushing over the wing to generate lift and create a soft cushion before the gear touches down. The risk of a fan blade out event is planned out for by the aircraft manufacturer.
I wonder if they know they can fly the airplane… that it doesn’t need to be on a ship. Flying is much easier and quicker. That’s what those wings are for.

I was 100% convinced that that landing wheel was magically going to deploy at the last minute
Well done pilot Ray 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Well done Josh! Keep on doing what you’re doing! 👍🏻
Any ACI agent watch this 😮
would love this if it weren't dramatized and cable-tv-trashed :(
Shawn’s a real personality. Wow dude! Show some emotions… typical
!!!! 🤣🫵
I can’t believe the company didn’t require a professional rigging company to come in and oversee getting that plane hoisted & secured on the ship.
In our Language Kiswahili we have say that says sometimes a rookie or student can be better than his teacher or professor
Dang that some thick ice
Very nice for the airport to give some planes a free wash with those fire trucks
Joe detests cockpit CRM
They don't hit the brakes before put the gear up?! WTF 😮
Yay go David! They all doubted you and you stuck it out 😭 ❤
Any landing you walk away from is an ok landing. 😅

Good piloting
What? Terrible airmanship.
With the gear failure, they should have cut the engines on the gear side before they hit the ground to cause less damage

It would be nice if you cut the stupid music! Nice job guys.
!!!! 🤣🤣
Wow. The gravity point is center for flyings. A jet wings on high golden meltings. One time only please.

Too bad they don't have a 737 200 or a DC 9 or MD 88 cargo hauler.
Annoying background music spoils this presentation.
freaking amatrour hour onver here
Repeat. Old video!😒
Well, lets see. Who wins the whining award?
Ray should be fired right before he retires
