Spoke with my daughter in Moose Jaw Sask,, this morning 10 am their time, temp minus 20 c snowing and the wind is blowing. They are warm in their house and the horses are fine in their winter shed.
Thanks for the updates. The snowblower is sitting at the ready if needed later this winter but we would be okay if the snow stayed in the higher hills.
We had 24 degrees here with morning with a lite dusting of snow overnight & frosty crystals NE of Oroville, WA at the 3,681 ft level. Had some wind gusting for a couple hours last evening. currently overcast, lite wind & misty rain & 27 degrees at 1:51pm Friday 20th
Big Eddy memorial invitational on the North shore of Oahu, Sunday 7:00 a.m. Hawaiian Time! watch the world's bravest waterman take on the North shore's most perilous break. 40 years I've been watching weather and is a unique event coming in this weekend. UGH
Mike are you going out to the coast for the waves? Best day/time you suggest? And do you like North or South beaches for this one? Thanks for all you do! Enjoy watching all your updates. Helps me out here on the farm to know what's coming!
Thank you for your professional report on the Pacific North West weather! We appreciate your info as we live in the Cascades Mountain range. Your very detailed and that is awesome. Could you speak a little slower as I miss some of what information your giving. I have never taken a class on weather information:)
Monday's waves look gnarly, my camera and I are psyched! Meanwhile, I'm celebrating the shortest day of the year by sleeping and eating. Bears know what's up.
Michael, a question if I may... with the winds and wave heights on the west coast of Vancouver Island, do you think that the straight of Georgia will experience choppy enough waters as to affect ferry traffic, say from Vancouver to Nanaimo on Saturday? Hoping not, but am ready for anything. Hope your weekend is great, and to all of you who appreciate this great weather source.
Michael...requesting updates for the impact of winds to poor Snohomish County for the windstorm on the 23rd. We have been ground zero for winds and outages over the past month. 😢
Watching that Closely right now, there might be some east winds, not as strong as last Nov huge east blow, and there is a lower chance of strong southerly winds after that, doesnt look that bad right now, but check in tomorrow morning
I don't understand this weather we're having in whatcom county. Stiff northeast winds, not super cold but how is the weather coming from the west but a north/northeast wind just ripping out of the Frasier valley? It's miserable
I live down in Portland and it seems that you're more interested in covering Seattle and Washington than where I live. Could you cover the rest of the PNW a bit more please?
Think I shall quit listening as your daily seems to be all about oregon, eastern washington and spokanistan. Nothing that relates to those of us north of the Nooksack. And Frazier outflow. See ya Michael.
Thanks again Michael for your consistency
Thank you for the update Michael 😊
🤙Aloha y'all ... 1 child makes you a parent, 2 makes you a referee @ 3 congrats ur a chauffeur
Or..1st child bulldozed the road of life of a parent. 2nd paved the way... and that 3rd..... skated on with smiles of Joy!
That must be why the five before me are so jealous of the things I got away with! 😂
😂😂😂
I'm just here for the "Fantasy Forecast"! Great stuff as always, Michael!

Whoot, whoot...bring the rain. We will complain after day 3.
Thanks for your forecast Amigo.
Looks like some serious weather headed toward the PNW! Will be an interesting holiday period. Enjoy!
Polar Vortex please! Another wet, warmish Christmas. Have to revisit my photos from 2008.
The best Christmas ever!
Thanks Michael!
Good morning, another great update from Michael ❤❤❤
That scary Max Wave Height model has me singing the Sea Shanty song. There’ll be no crabbin’ on the Oregon Coast this Christmas lads!
Windy in Sultan! Thank GOD it was warmer yesterday & got some good chores done!
Thanks for the updates. The snowblower is sitting at the ready if needed later this winter but we would be okay if the snow stayed in the higher hills.

when you like crazy weather but open up a PNNW video and it's under 10 minutes. it's my new severe weather indicator.
Yes, it's certainly nice to know if any Arctic air is in the vicinity. Thanks.
Thanks Michael!!
Thanks for this great update!
National weather service has a wind advisory for the east puget sound lowlands from 1am tonight.

we've been whacked by East winds here in Washougal, interesting living at mouth of Columbia Gorge. At least we don't have the fetch that Corbett has.
In mid willamette valley.

How far in advance can you see the weather? I need to know what might come January 1-10
I prefer rain ☔️ more than snow ❄️

Snow in the mountains of Oregon?? End of Dec looks promising 🙏🏽🌨

Booooooo! I prefer it dark and cold.
