The Texas Weapons Systems railed action cover let me mount a Vortex Venom dot (you'll need a shim from UTG to have enough elevation)-it CAN be a little tricky to install, but works well. Use red loctite with the securing bolt above the piston, blue loctite on the adjustment screws. Now, if I could find a good 2 aperture rear iron. Zero hold is OK, maybe an inch shift at 100 yards from time to time. See you at Red Oktober.

Great video brother. Honestly love them all and you have a very nice collection. I just picked up my first ak zastava zpap looks great straight out of the box but I added ALG trigger and polished hammer also enhanced spring and Midwest mount with red dot. I'll probably do a couple other things just to make it my own. Only other thing I have in 7.62x39 is a bren2 pistol with 9 inch barrel which I absolutely love. Keep up the great work!!!
I'm a traditionalist but I do like a couple modern upgrades. For an example, a nice crisp modern trigger, good muzzle device, safety lever with slot to hold the bolt open... Small touches.
I'm not too convinced I'd like to resurface my SAM7SF but if I did I really like the coating on your SLR. Parkerizing looks really good too. Anodized type III would be nice as well. I don't really know where I should look for coatings other than cerakote. Any tips?
I had an older original style AK couple years ago I sold it. It was really cool looking, but it did not shoot accurately and the ergonomically for bad. I just bought a very modernized AK I’m going to be picking it up from the gun shop tomorrow. Hopefully it’s better.
Great video 👍 I have a Russian mutt AK not numbers matching kit has the Romanian wire folder and a chrome bolt its a wild build Galil pistol grip vented gas tube just a combloc calico basically.
Great video. You have a respectable collection, but the most beautiful one is the first model depicted with the Draco a very close second. Congrats and respects from Brazil.
@KLAYCO47 I can't find much info on SBR and chopping AKs so maybe you can help, can you convert a regular ak74 into something like a aks74u by cutting down the barrel and gas tube and switching to a combo gas block/front sight and I guess swapping to a shorter piston? I'm dying for something like that but no one is really importing or making anything like that in 5.45 like the now unavailable slr104ur. I see kns offers a krink piston so would it be possible to do that to a psa 74 for example?
Aimpoints are very expensive, but mainly because the lower the red dot is mounted on an AK the better the cheek Weld is and it's hard to get lower than an RMR.

Check it out. He has been on there a lot recently along with Brian Keeney from Occam Defense. Jared and his crew plan on being in northern Virginia in March. Being that I'm about 5 hours from the site where his class will be held, I do plan on taking that class. That is unless, I move back to Texas before then, but, we'll see! Take care!
@@ridnthawave708 cool thanks man!
I love my Modern AK! Zastava M70XT...awesome hand guard with Mloc & pic for every attachment I would ever want. And she shoots AMAZING 👏
Those flatback mags really look nice in any gun. I'm also a fan of the palm swell handguard and the 74 style brakes
All of those rifles are sweet. Love it.
keep posting man!
new subscriber. I wanna see a pt. 2 to this video. where you shoot all of them!!!
god bless
Retro Modern like your 107 is best aesthetic. Hands Down.
Just saw the draco. That’s aesthetic af.
I love this channel!!! I just found out about it like 3 days ago and I can’t stop watching
I love my AK love this channel
Help me out where can I source descent wood furniture? I love the classic looks of rifles whether it's AR, AK, G3 , or Daewoo
Anywhere and everywhere check out comblock market on reddit.
I absolutely love your Galil ACE, now that's the perfect AK variant!
I like em both a did a few videos about it
I'm a traditionalist but I do like a couple modern upgrades.
Any tips?
how well do those side mounted optics hold zero after removing and replacing them?
Perfectly
Traditional all the way !
I had an older original style AK couple years ago I sold it. It was really cool looking, but it did not shoot accurately and the ergonomically for bad.
I just bought a very modernized AK I’m going to be picking it up from the gun shop tomorrow. Hopefully it’s better.
Do you use the auxiliary spring on your alg trigger?
Found a Norinco in 5.56 for 1K. Are these worth buying? The only mags available that I can find are Promags😑
They are pretty sweet. OG Mags are expensive and hard to find tho.
Do you have to re zero after putting a break on? Do muzzle devices effect zero?
Yes they do effect poi a bit.
Nyet....... Rrrrifle is fine!!!!!
I need that safety selector.
Bro im an AR Guy... but i couldn't keep my eyes off of that Draco SBR
She's attractive man
@@KLAYCO47 Bro it was love at first sight
@KLAYCO47 I can't find much info on SBR and chopping AKs so maybe you can help, can you convert a regular ak74 into something like a aks74u by cutting down the barrel and gas tube and switching to a combo gas block/front sight and I guess swapping to a shorter piston? I'm dying for something like that but no one is really importing or making anything like that in 5.45 like the now unavailable slr104ur. I see kns offers a krink piston so would it be possible to do that to a psa 74 for example?
May be worth to wait for PSA AK-K.
Very informative 👌. Could you please do a video comparing all the generations of AKs. Also please do a video on the Saiga 12. Thank you 😎
The saiga 12 would be an easy one to make I would have to pull some strings for the other idea.
Awesome stuff. Looking forward! Would be cool if you could go into the detail as to which AK the Saiga 12 is built from etc.
I like traditional wood and how simple the operation of long stroke gas pistons work
What made you decide to run an RMR on some of your rifles rather than a T-2 or aimpoint copy?
Aimpoints are very expensive, but mainly because the lower the red dot is mounted on an AK the better the cheek Weld is and it's hard to get lower than an RMR.
great video. i wish someone would make a video on how to modernize an old AK
There's hundreds of videos on that subject lots of different ways to go about it
AKs are one of the most aesthetically pleasing rifles ever made. Just the magazine says badass.
Agreed
Do those side optic mounts on the reciever interfere with the left side folders?
Sick collection man!!!
im like what map is in the background with the colored spaghetti noodles?
Old walking dead poster from like 4-5 years ago. Shows sucks now 😅
I love all aks. Even the ugly ones.
Except the ras47. That thing is 💩
Because ras47 is not an AK. :p
I love traditional AK but I have a modernized AK because traditional AK doesn’t fit my frame right. I love my AK and AR but hate the looks I get at the range when I take out the AK 😫. one guy even told me “only hoodlums” have those 😂🤣😂
F$#& that guy, he sounds boring 😴
Those wire stocks can be folded very quickly too. Just smack it.
Love all the way from Michigan
