In some ways, this trigger is better than select fire setup. The ability to be semi auto, taking single shots and full semi auto without turning a switch is fairly cool and deletes one thing you need to do. It’s very similar to a full auto Steyr AUG trigger. You can pull it most of the way and get semi auto and get full auto if you pull all the way
Price probably has a lot to do with how many processes that part of kit has to go through as well as qc. These aren't metal injection molded or cast. Wire edm and conventionally machined from billet. Then grinding/heat treating. To grind those parts correctly a fixture needs to be designed to hold them in position for that operation. All of that costs money.
You sound like you have machining experience.👍 It is in no way as easy to manufacture things as some people would think. Like just throw some metal in the chuck and a part just magically comes out.🙄
@lwilson1234 I think there's hold up better then the 3rd printed super saftey but yeah it looks more complicated but still high price but seems worth it
There’s other places to get literally the same thing in D2 steel properly heat treated for around $120. $500 is insane even if they give a lifetime warranty, make it a 3 position, and a drop in. $250 is the max I’d pay for it and that’s with everything I said above (minus it being drop in cause that’s not important to me)

That "malfunction" you had actually looks like a case head separation. loaders are taught to watch out for this and this can be caused by multiple reloading attempts or excessive resizing.
