well yes there all different & trying to decide the way they work is confusing , IT time we got you to demonstrate it in a module showing us how to find the correct pin hole. to find the root i have a red & black wire caning out of the hole you just pointed out ? , to the coil but it as no continuity to any thing , , should their be OR is it that the coil wire & only works if to fiers ,?

Could this be adapted to an Old Skidoo Single Cylinder that once used Bosch Points? I heard it could be upgraded to a Nippon CDI by just changing out one Coil on the Stator to Nippon CDI Coil, and rekeying the Bosch Fly Wheel, and then using the CDI External Coil and CDI Box.
Do you know how to wire lock key wires cuz I dont have a locker for keystartup I only have wires on kymco topnoy 50ccm 2t. I also need to wire new cdi for wich I dont know how to connect wires? Its japaneese racing blue alumium cdi

The ones I do have running with source coil on stator all run without battery the one I have no source coil I don't have cdi for and j don't believe cdis I have work with that one so im wondering if cdis for them are different ones with source being ac and one without DC cdi?

i got a 50cc quad and got a new wire loom but the cdi has 5 wires and the stator only 4 the stater wires are blue/white,yellow,white and green but no black/red sois this missing and y does the cdi have the blck/red wire coming out of it were do i wire this blck/red coming from cdi if i cnt wire it to stator ??? please help

i just found out the new engin i bought is DC an my old engin is AC when i rev my engin it blows my head lights an guage lights blow out so if i put back my old reg an cdi box will if fix my problem
Ed Allyn These CDI's would be for china bikes. Seen this style of plug on Hondas and Polaris but the wiring is not the same. Most of the time if I put one of these on a Honda I just relocate the pins.
+christopher walker Finding a wire harness for a china bike is hard. I make my own. look on one of my newer videos called rebuilding china 250 atv Theres a few parts to it but theres one where I wire the whole bike.

So can put a jumper wire in the cdi pigtails cause every cdi I buy for my Honda fourtrax 300 1990 dosent work

My CDI box works but I am having a problem with advancing and timing. The 4 . wheeler surges after about 18 miles.

most bikes 1990 and newer are AC stator and have D.C. 12v CDI units. some 150cc and smaller China made bikes have AC CDI but still have AC Stators
