Sorry, didn’t look at the video before answering. For antibody screens, the red cells are group O but have been antigen typed to produce an anagram that helps identify unknown antibodies. The same concept is used in an antibody panel but more reagent red cells are used to aid in antibody identification.

Whats in the reagent red cells?
Reagent red cells are a 3-4% cell suspension of known type red blood cells (specifically A1 and B types).
