is multi channel recording (via USB) also dounbled/enhanced when using cascade-mode 2 UI24R´s? can you record one one USB all channels nof both? or are 2 USB sticks needed that 2x20 channels are recorded? (can then put 40 in DAW via import)? thx for some clarification on that subject
How does the cascade handle USB multitrack connection? I’d like to plug in a Daw for vocal tuning inserts and sending a video mix from the DAW as well. Vocal mics would be plugged in on the slave. Usb would be plugged in the host at mix position.
Very cool, but do you know if this type of configuration also doubles your FX? We our limitted to 1 delay and 2 reverbs ... but this cascading offers maybe a way to use 2 delays and 4 reverbs? I'm really looking for a second delay in fact :)
Ui24 actually has 4 Fx not 3,. You can have 3 verb and delay or 2 verb and 2 delay. With Cascade, you could set it up to have more FX but you need to use some channels for returns as well.
Thanks for your Ui24r tutorials. It looks like, that the "Synchonise Snapshots" feature is not working. When I turn it on, having the same Names for the Snapshots on the Host and Remote Ui, the next and prev Snapshot button does not switch the snapshot on the remote unit. As well, when I select a snapshot on the HOST directly, then it only selects the same named snapshot on the REMOTE unit,, but it does not load it. Can you help with that? Is it a bug or do I do something wrong? Thanks, Michael
Hope it's okay to mention. You guys do a great job over there! :) But could you name the titles of the video in an uniform way? Sometimes it starts with V3, then with Ui24R, then Cascade Part 2, but there's no Part 1, etc... :-) Would be great :-D

@@beyongimage I just had my second Ui24r and tested it... it seems we can't have that.. we must press record on one unit, and then switch to control the other and press record on this one too, so the two multitracks sessions are not related.. and not in sync, so no soundchek of both unit possible... The only way to use it to record both units, it seems to resync it later, and in order to be able to do that, sending the same source on one track of both units, so it will be recorded on both... not very convenient, and most of all, not usuable with soundcheck mode...
Can I send a whole group (ex:-drums,guitars,voclas etc),,slave to host So that I can get all these three groups to 3 inputs of host unit ,,and mix more 17(or more) physical inputs 🙂 Thnks in advance
