I just turned 50 and my body completely changed almost overnight. I didn't know what was happening to me...emotionally, mentally and physically. I realized it was peri menopause even though I'm still getting my periods (though irregularly.) I have probably 75 of the symptoms you mentioned. It's truly horrific. I wish doctors would take this more seriously and educate women about what to expect before and during menopause. I really thought I was losing my mind (the depression, the RAGE, crying at the drop of a hat, the insomnia, the 20-pound weight gain even though I've never had weight issues...the list is endless and it's really brutal.) Prayers to all the women going through this. Thank you for your videos and for helping women understand that they're not alone (or crazy!)

I started noticing hormonal changes since I turned 30 and was told several times during my 30’s that possibly I was pre-menopausal (it’s was already confirmed 3yrs ago; 14 yrs later). So, I’ve been riding this symptom train for a while. Every year I would get something new until I turned 40 where the symptoms started piling up very quickly since then. I’m so used to it now that whenever a new symptom comes along I just go, “Guess we’re doing this now.” 😅

I get about 80 of these. The palpitations, chest pain and the nausea are the worst as they bring on the anxiety. I spent the whole day in bed yesterday (my period came on the day before). I was convinced I was dying. So much so that I couldn't fall asleep from fear I'd die in my sleep. Any water or juice I drank just came up an hour later. I couldn't even look at food. Today is much better. The dizziness has gone and I had 2 small meals (avo on toast and then soup for dinner). And water and tea stay down. I'm going to dread the next time period comes on but at least I'll know I'm not dying. Thanks for the video!

It really is scary and I feel your fear. It sucks that we have to go through this! I feel less crazy and alone knowing that others are experiencing this too. It’s not in your mind! It’s very real and doctors are not properly educated on the matter in med school. You would think with 51% of the population being female our health matters in midlife would be important enough to be taught at length and well understood but sadly that is not the case. Sending hugs!🥰

Why have I never known about peri menopause?, I'm 49 years old, this year my body and mind suddenly went nuts, hot flashes a tummy I never had before, heart burn, I can't sleep, the list goes on. To me menopause was when your period stops, and you got some hot flashes maybe mood swings and that's it.. why hasn't this been talked about more? why is it such a secret? I don't get it, I talked with my Mom and she didn't even seem to know of course her period stopped at 48 and she felt great, here I am at 49 and I feel like I'm losing it some times. lol Thank you for this channel it will help A LOT!! :)

What a great video! I'm 52 and didn't have any symptoms of the menopause until about 5 week's ago, It hit me like a sledgehammer!!! I have nearly all of the symptoms you've mentioned but the worst for me are the anxiety and panic attacks and trouble swallowing. One panic attack lasted 3days, I ended up going to A+E,was prescribed diazapam to relax me (only took 2)as I don't like taking them. Saw GP next day and was put on Hrt patches. I'm doing ok on them but I've been reading about natural creams for menopause so think I'll give them a try 🙂

I'm not a doctor or medical personnel but I've taken Dong Quai and it really helped with alot of these symptoms especially hot flushes but please do your own research , especially if you're on medication.

Try taking nutritional yeast daily and a good 50 billion multi-strain probiotic for a few days... See if that doesn't help
