Palpitations, tinitus, weight gain, hot face, headaches, no libido, vag dryness, aching joints, congestion, dry nose and eyes. Crying for no reason, acne, burning mouth, fatigue, Brain fog, blurry eyes don’t want to drive long distance, new fear of flying - depression and anxiety 😢
I had all of these symptoms and went to multiple doctors who couldn’t find any problems. It never occurred to anyone to talk to me about perimenopause. It led to many years of deep depression. It is so important to have more people speaking about this. Thank you!
Same here Renee, unfortunately doctors don’t seem to be very clued up on the peri-menopause part which I feel could be the most significant for a lot of women. Thanks for sharing 😊
The same thing happened to me. I was having most of these symptoms. I had just started going to a new Ob/Gyn, and she never mentioned this as a possibility. She ordered a bunch of tests that didn't tell us anything. My symptoms kept worsening, though. So, I went to another Ob/Gyn for a second opinion. The second one mentioned possible perimenopause right off the bat. Everything I was experiencing was pointing to it. Needless to say, I never went back to the first Ob/Gyn. I find it very suspect these drs, especially women drs, wouldn't think to consider perimenopause.
Exactly! It's a shame that they can even hold the title "doctor" when they can look you dead in the eye and tell you "That's crazy, you are too young." I'm 42. This started at 38, same for my mom AND her mom. I'm thinking the doctors really don't know their stuff!!
Same! It got Soo bad for me, lasting over a period of 3mos where I seriously thought I had some form of Cancer and was going to die. No joke. Multiple medical visits with zero answers. Sooo many symptoms and neither my OB nor my PA mentioned ANYTHING about perimenopause. I've had both of them for over 17yrs, so after I finally came to the right research and conclusion I confronted my PA to which she simply responded that they are only trained to look for what they can prove to be wrong via medical tests. So Infuriatingly frustrating 😡 Really makes you wonder what the women doctors do for themselves.
When I started looking into menopause because I was going through peri I discovered that 'the average amount of time' doctors spend studying menopause is two weeks in their entire profession, and this is skewed by the people who take it as a specialisation. This, despite the change being as significant as puberty and affecting literally half of the population. It's pretty dire how neglected women's health has been historically. I am seeing positive changes now though so I'm optimistic about the future. It might be because there are now many female GPs and specialists.
@@momojo1846 I’ve been doing a rotation of vitamins: iron, B-12, magnesium/calcium/zinc and Biotin. However when I was at my gynecologist office yesterday, the nurse told me to be careful with the biotin supplements because it can raise something to do with the thyroid. She suggested collagen. So far I think I have stopped the significant hair loss and I am seeing some nice regrowth.
I am almost 53. I have been experiencing all these symptoms over the past ten years. Still have a regular period and at ovulation still produce a sticky discharge. Lower libido and vaginal dryness are the most upsetting for my husband and I. This part of life really needs to get more air time! Knowing you are not alone (and not going crazy!) is so comforting. Thanks Emma!
I'm 2 months shy of 40, and the last 6 months have been a hormonal rollercoaster! I am sat here with tears dripping off my chin from the validation I'm feeling from this video. HALLELUJAH I'm not crazy, I'm just perimenopausal!
Oh my gosh, I’ve never felt so heard! I will be 40 in May. I literally have ALL of these symptoms and have gained 20 pounds in six months… I am very active and eat healthy. I’ve been going crazy and my doctors really aren’t helping… they say my BMI is fine so I shouldn’t worry. 😞 I will be looking for more of your videos to help find relief and/or answers. Women really get the short end of the stick. 🙄
Hello! I am the same, recently turned 40 and the last year my symptoms have been getting worse. It's so good to know I'm not alone and that This is why!! I hope you find more answers and somehow manage to relieve your symptoms at least a bit xo
Trauma related issues and stressful lives can exacerbate symptoms I’ve found, and we need to be kind to ourselves, rather than berate ourselves for not doing or being a certain way. It’s tough if your employer for example is making life difficult, I get that. We need to keep talking about this! ❤
I lost my Mom to cancer in January 2022 and I never properly dealt with the grief. As I began to really feel it that's when my perimenopause symptoms started to kick in. I had about a month of constant vertigo, brain fog, nausea, loss of appetite, hot and cold sweats, palpitations and anxiety. But I've started keeping a diary of my dwindling menstrual cycle and also my diet. And I talk to my late Mom when I'm alone. Just recalling memories of us together. And it's definitely helped. It's a frightening thing when perimenopause first hits you but know that you're not alone. Big hugs to all the ladies out there who feel like they're at their wits end. This too shall pass. Try to stay positive 💚
I wish I'd had this info 8 years ago. I started having pins and needles in my hands and feet, especially at night. I went to the GP and was sent from one specialist to the other. Pins and needles are a sign of so many health issues like MS and Parkinson's and Diabetes, I remember being absolutely terrified. No-one, I repeat no-one, including a menopause specialist, knew that pins and needles can be the result of hormone fluctuations in peri-menopause! It would have been so good to have been told that this was a possibility. Also, at 42, I was repeatedly told that I was too young to have any symptoms. You are so right in saying that this topic needs more air-time! Thanks so much for posting.
1. If you’re in your late 30’s or 40’s. 2. Menstrual cycles start to become irregular. 3. Unexplained health symptoms. 4. Sexual intercourse becomes more painful. 5. Changes in skin. 6. Confidence levels starts to decrease. 7. Putting on weight that is hard to lose. 8. Brain fog.
hormone replacement therapy is the best decision I ever made. I had some symptoms but they were very mild but when I started HRT the few symptoms I had disappear. I am very happy with my decision.
I had to figure stuff out on my own and discovered that as we hit 30s/40s our nutrients and vitamins have dropped or are dropping significantly as well. Once I fixed those low levels and adjusted my diet (removed trigger/inflammatory foods, I felt way better and those symptoms went away....if I slip up I go right back to feeling like crap/weird.
I experienced this also. I started to take it seriously and take a multi vitamin and iron for my anemia, and a probiotic and I noticed improvement, but perimenopause was still wreaking havoc on me so eventually I had to get on birth control which was a rough adjustment I am still going through.
You nailed it! All very true! Plus panick attacks and fears. Plus like a wave in the brain that lasts few seconds, painless ( can’t explain the sensation)
The single most common thread I have observed is "hatred / anger towards the husband / spouse..... and its uncanny how many divorces are triggered around this time. Happy to discuss.
Thank you so much for talking about this. I'm 41, almost 42, and I noticed fairly big changes in my cycle at 39, mainly just the length of my cycle and some additional fatigue and aches and pains I didn't have as much of prior. Since I have Endometriosis, I was concerned and I began asking my OBGYN for hormone tests for the past 2 years, and EVERY single time, the OBGYN says she'll run base checks, but they won't tell her anything. And alas, she never has any answers for me. Just single numbers that I don't understand. She says I might be in Perimenopause, but didn't give me much to go on other than a vague opinion of eat well, sleep and exercise. But that's what she's saying to every single other woman, so she's not of much help because we're all different! Now that I'm in my early 40's, I've got so many more symptoms - cycle length as mentioned...it used to be fairly regular my entire life, which is a blessing considering I have Endo...28 days and now it's about 20 days, so I never I never feel like I get a break like I used to feel. I have bad insomnia for about 10 days every month (usually before during and after my period), weight gain/difficult to lose, horrible hormonal headaches that make it difficult to function some days, nausea, increased digestive issues, fatigue (I'm exhausted more than normal and I have CFS from Epstein Barr Virus, so being tired is normal for me, but this is beyond tired), extra clumsy, and just feeling off most of the time. From what I've been told, the women in my family go through menopause very early so I'm not surprised I started at 39. I got my period very young, had just turned 11 years old, and many of my friends didn't get theirs until 15. And without much assistance from my OBGYN, I'm just feeling stuck. I'm honestly getting really tired of "doctors" in general. They don't listen, act like they are annoyed they have to even see you, and send you away without helping most of the time. I just want to know more about what my personal body is going through. Like, am I estrogen dominant? I could be, but I'm not the expert, so I have no way to know that. I'm thinking of having a naturopathic doctor help me from now on. Do you think this would be a better option? I know there's things I can do, like changing some dietary things, but I just want to know what's going on my specifically in my body. Thanks so much for talking about this, it's something we don't see enough women bringing out in the open, so thank you!
If you have blood work hormone levels. If it’s possible to know where you were in your cycle. That would be a huge help. I always know what day I am on when I get blood work but my OB never cared. So When he said all was within normal Range, I asked for a copy of the bloodwork. Sure enough, I knew I was after ovulation (luteal phase) (around day 20 most times) and it showed I had super high estrogen and low progesterone. A short cycle is often low progesterone.
But I ended up having a large cyst on an ovary that was sending all of that estrogen. It eventually went away. But I chronically for as long as I can remember have had low progesterone.
I didn't have many of these and some I did. All through menopause by 44. I've never felt better in terms of mood and stability. I can handle all the other symptoms but have been so pleasantly surprised at how much better I feel emotionally and how I can cope. Felt similar during pregnancies as well. Hormones really did a number on me for many years.
I checked all the boxes on the symptoms checklist and as defeated as i feel at times, its comforting to know that women are coming out of the shadows and speaking up and raising awareness about perimenopause and menopause and how its affecting our quality of life. WOMENS HEALTH MATTERS 💯💯💯
Me suffering, heart palpitation, anxious, anxiety insomia, depression its very hard on my part, im in 🇵🇭 lack of concentration, who of experiencing this im 47
YES to all of the above, lol...& I started to spot 4 days before my period was due too. I started walking every day in nature to help with anxiety, Hang in there and best of luck to you!
I started having these issues 3 weeks ago and feel like I’m going crazy. I’m 48 and have been having very heavy periods and had two this month. The second one was light. Palpitations are scary.
@@cocodutchess78 Ohhh same age with me my dear I can't sleep at night turning and tossing frequency urination my heart is pounding very fast my skin is try and oily 😔😔😔I'm finished I wish it was for a month not years imagine feeling this for years
Oh my goodness, this explains so much! The acne, the irregular periods, my skin feeling so dry, etc. thank you so much for posting this. I was starting wonder what on earth was going on! This has been a relief
Definitely peri menopause for atleast 5 years. I'm 45. My confidence has never been higher though, this is probably because i fight - i mean literally, I spar once a week, tai chi as well. Make your 'qi' stronger as you get older❤️

Not sure why they say confidence? I haven’t noticed that in myself or others. But I guess we are not conforming to the stereotypes accocaited with Peri or menopause
I had most confidence in my early 40’s. I honestly did. THEN, it hit me about two years ago, I’m 49 now. My confidence dropped, and anxiety heightened. So….don’t count your chickens yet. I truly hope you have no symptoms, but if you do, remember that I wrote this, and don’t think you’re going mad lol. 🌹
Thanks - this is a great breakdown - wish they would tell you about this more in school etc. Luckily I got pregnant at 42, gave birth at 43 and by 45 I was beginning to feel the changes - once I limit alcohol & sugar, get plenty of rest & consistent exercise I manage to keep the hot flushes etc at bay - 48 now and learning to listen to what my body needs more and more, including tons of water :)
That’s great you had a baby, I had first child at 41, got pregnant again at 43 but miscarried, but had another baby at almost 44. We should definitely be extra thankful
I was always hoping for being pregnant in my forties, because it was impossible earlier. I was always feel much younger than I am, I was super healthy, but some huge stress hits me, plus long covid and now I'm feeling all of the symptoms with 37☹️. My grandmothers have their periods until almost 60, this is really a bit shocking to me.
Thank you for posting. Although I haven't experienced any physical symptoms. I still have periods, I'm 52. The biggest issue for me is how my emotions can be very extreme, before my period. It's awful both for me and my family members..I openly talk about it with my family so they know that when I seem isolated, it's definitely not because of anything they have done.
I’m 60, and am post menopausal now (7 yrs), but I experienced the exact same thing during perimenopause and you will be relieved to know that after your periods have stopped, the irritability, anxiety and pre-menstrual emotional instability goes away immediately! I realize that knowing this doesn’t really help you now, but it’s something to look forward to. You’re not crazy and it WILL stop. ❤
Same here. Mine were terrible. I started taking magnesium powder. 1/4 tsp x2 a day and it has helped with my mood tremendously. Calms me down alot too.
That sounds a bit like PMDD. I'm 40 and have the same experience, I have to take the progesterone only pill in order for my moods to not become too extreme each month. I tend to feel enraged and even suicidal for a few days before my period if I don't take the progesterone only pill.
I've been noticing changes since about age 35. Im now 39 went to my gynecologist and told him he wanted to put me on antidepressants/I refuse to take that as I have had bad experiences on those meds back in my early 20's... My Grandmother went into menopause at like 42 and my cousin at like 36.. I have been having several and some you haven't mentioned that I've heard spoken of on other videos. The doctors keep saying im to young ,but not one of them ever did blood work ... Went to a fews docs... I have chosen to just place my life in God's hands and teust him to get me through it all healthy and safe. I went from living normal life driving etc to being afriad to drive and go places. Anxious out of no where for no reason, hot flushes, wake up drinched in sweat, more stressed, tired all the time, sleep was a reck, heart palps and a few other things. Some have gotten better. Im starting to go places again and driving a lil around my neighborhood/its a start . Sleep has gotten better ,palps not that often anymore as it was, not as stressed and anxious as I was. Things have been getting better. I just been relying on God to help me and heal me .. Oh and I did gain about 10 to 12 pounds in a few months time too..Periods have gotten a lil heaver at the first few days and some months are starting to get further apart a few were like 23 days. But most months my cycle still comes between every 25-27 days... I send prayers to every woman going through perimenopause symptoms and pray God helps you through it healthy and whole in Jesus Christ Mighty Name..
Još uvijek imam ciklus, ali sve ovo me prati od druge polovice tridesetih, plus svakidašnji stres koji sve to dodatno svima nama gdje god bile dodatno pojačava 😒
I'm 47 & 4 years or more in peri menopause. I really thought I was dying before I got diagnosed. I was constantly feeling ill I kept going to my doctor he would do all kinds of test & everything would come back normal. it wasn't until I got viginal atrophy 3 years ago that I realised what was happening to me. my doctor put me on hrt. Then the daily panic attacks started about 6 months later 😔 I've just got them under control these past 4 months. I have the most weird symptoms too. I have now accepted my peri menopause & learning to embrace it & look after myself better which has made a huge difference to my anxiety. water is very important too ladies. we will get through this 💗

My GF is definitely dealing with #7 at 47. She used to be a spontaneous get-up-and-go type of gal, but I find that she's a more anxious traveler, preferring to be more of a homebody. I'm glad it's hormonal rather than some type of trauma I didn't know about.
Has anyone told you that you look like Lisa Eldridge? She's a British makeup artist who also does tutorials on TH-cam. I'm only in my early 40s, and my periods have begun to get out of whack, and oh yes, the dryness is real! I've had to start using a hyaluronic acid serum under my usual moisturiser, because all the healthy diet wasn't doing anything at all for the skin on my face! I take natural collagen, I eat a very good range of healthy oils and fats, including evening primrose, and I drink 2 cups of coconut water a day, as well as all the good, macro and micro nutrient/antioxidant rich foods, and I drink around 3ltrs of water a day. Yet my skin was extremely dehydrated, itchy and peely! It can still be if I stop using the hyaluronic acid serum for a few days... being a woman is great!
I feel like I went into full on menopause during Covid lockdown. What a cruel joke, I was anxious, had intermittent insomnia, I was walking multiple times/day and couldn't shed a pound! Until I started researching I had no idea (aside from hot flashes) the extent of ALL the symptoms! I have no self esteem or confidence and out of the blue, driving long distances paralyzes me. Sometimes I have anxiety in the car even when I'm NOT driving. TY for openly talking about all of this
I had the same experience with panic in the car when I wasn’t the driver. I needed Ativan occasionally. It did help. That was pre-Covid. I feel more calm now & my “sparkle” is coming back…so don’t lose hope.
Thank you for speaking to the confidence factor. Over the last year I’ve really struggled with highway driving. I will get in such a panicked and nervous state that it makes me feel dizzy. I really thought I was losing my mind bc I’ve never had this issue.
Im dreading the menopause. I already get a pre-menstrual migraines triggered by the sudden drop in hormones just before a period. A sudden rise in hormones also triggers one (eg week 7 of pregnancy did). I hear about hormones spiking up and down during early menopause and think what a nightmare it's going to be for me with migraines! All I can do in anticipation of the menopause is try to stay a healthy weight, eat healthily, exercise and pray! Wishing all you ladies a manageable menopause.
Intermittent Fasting following my cycle (See Dr Mindy Pelz for good info on this) has helped me lessen or miss my monthly migraines and I'm in perimenopause and almost 50.
@Nicole Martin - thanks so much for your reply. It's not showing for some reason, but I'm looking into the intermittent fasting, which I've done before as I know it has so many benefits - I just need to do my homework to fine tune it the right way for my PM migraines.
I made myself I'll worrying about menopause....honestly, the fear of it made me ill. I am on HRT now and managing well. Please seek help and do t just battle through. Get help always x
Wow!! The lack of confidence struck me hard!!! Im 43 and in my late 20s, I had just barely overcame severe shyness from childhood. And now just recently it has come back! I feel just like a child again. Im so shy and nervous just as i was as a scared shy little girl. I never imagined it couldve been from perimenopause! Thank you so much for this information.
Just turned 50 Have dry itchy skin Always have insomnia, increase weight , hot flashes, memory lapse, tired. I had all labs done every thing normal except slightly elevated blood sugar . I increased weight bearing exercise . Eat more fish and change to brown rice and more dark leafy greens . I m taking a b complex vitamin and increasing my water intake . I m doing a plant based diet also . The most difficult thing is the weight issue. 😥
turned 40 this year, now i get to miss every other period for the first time in my life! on top of the new wrinkles, lack of sleep, brain fog, short temper and weight gain. oh and night sweats!! fun stuff.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, the chemo launched me into full blown immediate menopause. I’m 48 years old. Found out I’m BRCA1, so should’ve had a hysterectomy at 35. Menopause at my age is normal, so I’m grateful I didn’t go through it younger.
Why would you willingly cut your uterus out because of some test. Insanity in my opinion. Or because Angelina Jolie marketed it to the public in 2012.. butchery!! And removing breasts as well absolutely barbaric. They have cures but don't let the public know.
This stuff I can relate to but it only kicked in now at 53 so not everyone gets it early. I am extra panic attack prone. Never really been that way. Low energy even if a good night sleep, brain hurts/ fog. Done the blood work etc... it shows I am now in the Perimenopusal world. It has been nice looking younger than my age but every day I can see the little changes. Old age is knocking. I had a good run! This better not last too long.
I think it’s important to say that some of these symptoms (insomnia, tinnitus, dry skin/eczema, joint pain) are symptoms of low ferritin/anaemia that could probably prompt menopause to start earlier. I’m just guessing that it could, but it’s an educated guess - when I was severely anaemic in my twenties I had all these symptoms and sometimes it also made periods lighter and less predictable/frequent.
I have described all about. Don't worry guys.l am Dr Kavita, ready to solve your all complain related menopause.please go through my all videos regarding this.my videos are in so many topics. I just had tinnitus a minute ago. Scares me because you get anxious and think it's a symptom of going deaf. I'm 53 and have never had it until recently. Would iron tabs help low ferritin then?
OMG me too!!! I have NEVER been struggling to find the words I want to say. All of a sudden I'm just stuck. I don't even have a clue what the word starts with. I feel like I have no vocabulary! I even start by just describing what the word might be I'm trying to say and yes, I have had thoughts often that I may be getting early signs of dementia
I’m 46 but I started having major symptoms starting a couple of years ago. It has been really really horrible. Worse than anything I could even possibly imagine and I eat healthy, use supplements and do not smoke or use alcohol. I developed fibromyalgia, insomnia, migraines, extreme irritability, very erratic periods. No sex drive at all ever. I went to have a hormone panel done and I’m low in progesterone, testosterone and estrogen. I started progesterone therapy two years ago which helped a little bit but still miserable. Every day is a struggle. I catch a glimpse of myself sometimes and I can’t believe how old and fat, I am starting to look. My mom didn’t start to change til she was 50s so I really wasn’t prepared for how early and hard it’s been.
Your mum had a better diet and wasn't eating poisoned food and toxins everywhere in our clothes /products/air. All those birth control crap and meds. It makes your infertile.
I just turned 51. I'm still having periods. I have 3 heavy flow days in a row then it's over. Weird!! The emotions I have before & during are intense! I don't remember them being this bad. The brain fog gets so bad at times. I can't remember names, what I did 30 seconds ago, pin numbers. I stood & stared at the gas pump trying to remember my pin # on my debit card. I had to leave with out getting gas because I couldn't remember for the life of me the pin#. I was pretty upset & scared at that point. I feel a little better knowing brain fog is common not by much though. My skin is drier. My depression has worsened especially my self-esteem & self confidence. The emotions are what I'm struggling with the most. Sometimes I feel I have gone completely psychotic! I lash out to anyone who walks into a room for no reason. I absolutely hate what I'm going through now. I don't know what is going to happen when the hot flashes decide to crank my emotions into an extreme inferno!!🔥🔥🔥🥵😭
SOOOOOOOOO Grateful for this video. I'm 45...always been over protective of my son,,,but lately I'm super protective and emotionally sensitive..definitely forgetting things, joint aches, irregular menstrual for 2yrs now,,major headaches and hot flashes are the worse🥵🥵🥵🥵I live in th Caribbean. I just thought I was actually dying or losing my mind...mood swings and emotions on HIGH🤦🏿♀️AS far as weight gain...NOPE..I'm a vegetarian and seem to be keeping steady..JUST FELT TO SHARE MY WORLD...SISTAS.......WE SHALL OVERCOME THIS STAGE OF OUR STRONG AND POWERFUL LIVES...#Wegotthis#
I am 45 and have been going through perimenopause for a long time, but i did not know up until 3 years ago when there was a documentary about menopause and symptoms. Like everyone else i used to think i will have the odd hot flush and that is it, did not realise they are more than 10 symptoms. It is thanks to videos like that that we learn.
I guess people are really different then. I actually learned driving at 38. I'm now 46 and things haven't changed much for me. I had to deal with some chronic health issues in my first 30 years. But since that phase ended, I've been feeling great!
I turn 40 next month and am having symptoms! I have always been a 28 day cycle. Now I sometimes have 24 days, or 26 days, or 30 days. My periods are shorter, but super heavy in the beginning. I have the hot flashes, the insomnia, the pins and needles, the heart palpitations, the few dark hairs on my chin, and a day or two of spotting when I ovulate. Weight gain!! I am getting hormonal acne, which I didn’t use to get.
That’s what happened to me. They kept getting closer and closer together then 3 1/2 months non-stop bleeding that was more like hemorrhaging, surgery, 5 iron transfusions an absolute nightmare!
As a women whose 43 I have been experiencing most of these for about 8- 10 years now.. achy joints during my cycle, mood swings and hot flashes are the worst..the things that help are exercising(with a mix of stretching, cardio, and light weight)3-4 days a week, drinking plenty of water, eating the right foods and reasonable portions most of the time😀, and dealing with life and stressful situations affectively. The permenopause and menopause are things we can't control. Eating right and taking care of our physical and mental health we can. Excercise helps to drain those excess toxins out the body, keeps our body in balance and helps to clear our thinking. So get and stay active 🙂
Perimenopuase started for me at 35. I’m 42 now and been on hormones for about 5 years. It’s only getting worse. Newest symptom is the weird sensation of sort of pins and needles, but more like I have a loose hair on me but there’s nothing there. Wish I’d just go on and get into menopause cause having all these sucky symptoms along with my period is just hell.
Yep! I tried HRT but the second week tablet, the dual tablet with oestrogen and the other one (brain fog, sorry 😞) made my anxiety so bad, I honestly thought I was going mad.
@@pommiebears luckily my estrogen levels are still normal. I only take progesterone and testosterone. Giving myself testosterone injections weekly sucks, but I’ve gotten used to it.
I knew what signs to look for because my mother went through perimenopause at age 43. I started at 44, and got stuffed around by the medical profession until I started losing blood clots. I wish I'd taken one of those clots in a jar into the doctor's office, slammed it down on the desk and said: "NOW do you believe me?" Seriously, the medical profession need to upgrade their understanding of women's health. Six years later, I've learned to handle my symptoms on my own and in my own way. No other choice. I have lost all faith and trust in the medical profession.
I am 50 years old. What I noticed throughout this transition is the symptoms can come and go. I can go months feeling great or just experiencing lower pelvic pain during my period. Then I miss periods and that's when thing get complicated. Long/heavy periods with large clots. I have fibroids and at times I dont think its the fibroid its the fluctuating in hormones. This is a tough time in a womens life.
I have a uterine fibroid and I don't understand what that is. Do you soak your pillow with sweat at night, even with the fan or A/C running? I've been experiencing the heavy night sweats like my mom used to have. She'd wake up in the middle of the night and her bed and pillow are soaked, so she'd have to shower and change to a different pillow, now I'm sweating on my pillow at night and this just started for me about a month ago.
Very. And confusing! I found a great deal of info from comments also. I've missed one period but cramps, in agony. I have other health issues, fairly recently diagnosed that required more urgent attention and I think this part got ignored!! If you understand me! I've horrid symptoms from 2 diagnosis.. I honestly don't know what has happened to my previously fit n healthy self. It's only now, I've energy to look at this issue. But seriously, In few years, leaving all menopause etc aside, something's gone v wrong. And now it's v likely I face more medical. Two years ago, I couldn’t control my anxiety. I started taking medicine . Took it for a year and a half. It helped a lot. If you need help, get it. You are not going crazy. I started noticing little changes, specially the random weight gain. BO. Like, I never had that issue. Never. My hands and feet are always hot. Sometimes burning hot.

@@Annakist76 It happens during perimenopause and menopause. Your adrenal gland goes berserk, and the next thing you know…BOOM! Your heart rate can be at resting stage when it happens, or beating like a bat out of hell. It’s beyond bizarre. You either go fight or flight, like when you’re going through puberty or have your period. It’s Russian Roulette, hormone edition. 😂
I would get your blood checked. Check your hormones, thyroid, ferritin, iron panel, and D3 checked. We need to stop normalizing anxiety and panic attacks. That is your body screaming to you that something is wrong. Usually by that peri/meno age we get severely depleted in vital nutrients and vitamins and 9/10 your doctor is behind in what are optimal numbers. My mom was never checked for ferritin and finally fainted in her 50s? Ferritin drops usually before iron and sense these boneheads never check it you'll never know until problems happen. Also dehydrating happens easier and you get older so you'll want 1 gallon consumed within a day along with electrolytes(vital). Research all those from multiple sources and you may notice a pattern with yourself. I finally dont suffer from anxiety and panic attacks as much. I was low in a few things and easnt drinking an appropriate amount of water/electrolytes.
@@justforfunsies5000 Yes, it CAN be due to menopause, but it can also be due to something else. So instead of just assuming it is menopause, it is wise to get it checked. That is how I found out that my panic attacks were NOT menopause. It was hyperthyroidism, which was treated and the panic attacks completely stopped.
me too i have been living with panic attacks since my 38 years. now i am 42. i had a hysterectomy at 39. i have my ovaries. i had thyroid checked, everything is perfect. also the hysterectomy didnt do me well , i have problems with bladder. i have no life. just staying at home, my kids, job and shopping for food. I do yoga and i go to the nature.
hmmm I will be 53 in November and I am not experiencing any of the symptoms you've mentioned above. My period comes consistently every month, the only sign that makes me believe that I am pre menopausal is my period last only 3 days compared to 5 to 6 days when I was young
I am 45 and I know that I’m going through peri menopause. I have big fibroid tumors in my uterus. I sweat but that’s not the bad part. The anxiety attacks that come out of no where are horrible!! My boobs stay sore like I’m pregnant. I feel bloated most times then others. The docs want to give me a hysterectomy but keep my ovaries so I won’t go into menopause but I’m trying so hard to wait it out and see if I will go into full blown menopause. I want my cycle to end today lol! This blood supply is causing all hell to break loose in my body with these fibroid tumors. Also I had LEEP procedure done last year to remove pre cancerous cells from my cervix. I was clear this year when I went to my annual pap. But they want me to get the surgery and I don’t want it because the doc is saying my uterus is too big for robotic surgery they would have to give me the c-section cut. My uterus is like 10.5 centimeters. It truly sucks to be a woman I tell you. Lol…Geesh

I've had many of these symptoms since my 20s because of fibromyalgia, however, I've also had a massive hormonal imbalance in regards to progesterone since my late 20s. It can all be very confusing when you're arthritic and sick anyway. I'll look for the other symptoms to start though.
Ask your dr about MSM & MK7 form of vitamin K2. Get a natural remedies book to see supplements, herbs, etc to help. I am 45. Fibromyalgia DX about 24 after being told CFS. PCOS then Auto immune disease (SLE aka lupus) DX by 34. MS markers by 35. Mini strokes by 36. Had my reversed cervical column but back in place about age 40 with a neurological chiropractor that uses an activator. Feb 2022 began the K2. Four months later began losing weight and gaining muscle. Felt so good I got a job after 22 yrs as stay at home mom. Lost 40 lbs without changing diet and felt good enough to do physical labor in a bakery. 40 lbs came off in 40 weeks! Thus far all my labs have shown no more auto immune antibodies 6 months after chiro & current labs are best they have been in over 20 yrs. Grateful to God. I assume it had to do with K2 & chiro. @@kys1855 YES!! Especially as it seems to just start suddenly and you've never felt that way before! I felt totally incapable of making any decisions about anything for a while there.
Apart from other symptoms I'm suffering from hair loss. It's terrible! And my face changed a lot I became "ugly". I couldn't recognize myself on photos. It's very depressing.
I'm 54 and it's the complete opposite for me on all of these, except for metabolism, but increased activity throughout my days is helping that. I attribute my improvements to changes in nutrition, especially nearly eliminating refined sugars and processed foods. I have yet to experience a hot flash, and my periods are finally regular.
I attributed my lack of confidence to putting on weight over the last few years. I’ve always been voluptuous & have had a 20 pound yo-yo range my whole life, but carried most of my weight in my bottom…I was pear shaped. Not anymore! Since gaining more weight, I’m all about the stomach now. 😫

Supplements and diet!I started having dry eyes at night. I started taking 120 mg hyaluronic acid every day and don’t have dry eyes/ski anymore. Other supplements I take: vit E, D3, K2, fish oil, magnesium, calcium, zinc, selenium, kelp, blueberry, primrose/bernagie oil, B complex. And I eat low carb/keto, but the clean version. No gluten, low dairy (just goat kefir and some cheeses) Whenever I eat sugar or carbs, my eye sight goes blurry. I make smoothies with maca/raw cacao/seeds and green versions. It keeps me going.
This has been eye-opening. I am experiencing all of these symptoms. With some news this month, I am turning 38 in two months, and I am sharing all this with GP.
I am also approaching 38 but in 1month... and have been experiencing similar symptoms. I wanted to know if it's possible that for some reason, me having two cesarian sections in the past along with tying my tubes might be the culprit? HELP! I GOT TO KNOW. Anyways I have been trying to cope with life living in your thirties and so far, so good. What's next?
It started for me @ 37 in 2020. I missed my period for 2 months in December and January, then started bleeding non stop for weeks until about June. I had a full exam and blood work done. The OB said it seemed like perimenopause. My ultrasound did show a small cyst. I started taking Maca, which helped. Now just this month on the 12th of December, I have started bleeding nonstop again. I missed my period last month in November. I just recently started back taking Maca. Hopefully, the bleeding will stop soon. I am now 39.
Thank you !!! Last month my period become so irregular and I feel with low self stem all of the sudden. I am just accepting the fact that I am changing but it’s difficult … btway I am 44 … but now I will be some knowledgeable regarding this changes and I will take them as they come …. ❤️ To all the women going through the same all my love ❤️
Had my last period at 42. Felt as if was on an emotional rollercoaster for the preceding 5 years or so. It was horrible and doctors never mentioned perimenopause as a possible cause.
I am so sorry. You are the second person with this similar experience of being completely left in the dark after seeking medical attention. I have years, no decades, of being disappointed by medical professionals. Glad we are able to get more information and learn of better doctors now because of the web.
My periods were always very far apart, since I was twelve and got my first period. In my mid forties my periods got really close together. It was ridiculous and depressing. My doctor put me on birth control and that made it worse. Then I bled all the time, every day, non stop. That was even more depressing. So, I switched doctors. My new doctor did a blood test, and I was not menopausal at all. My doctor said there was no sign of menopause and it was very far away for me. But since my bleeding never stopped I had a hysterectomy at age 47. Best decision ever. Periods are a punishment and I was not going to put up with it any longer. I was in tears every day over the continuous period. If I wasn’t going to have menopause, then hysterectomy was the perfect answer. Now I feel the freedom. I am so very happy!
The worst are the emotional/mental roller coasters. 5 yrs ago I had the worst anxiety and experienced depression for the first time in my life. I thought extreme stress was the cause of it. In the five years since I felt pretty good until a few months ago. The difference is that I have no reason for the the anxiety/depression this time. Spoke with a menopause specialist and she said it was very possible that my hormones were wacky 5 years ago, calmed for a few years and went wacky again a few months ago. Wtf?! I decided on BHRT because it’s getting hard to deal with these symptoms now that I’m very close to menopause. I really wanted to power through, but this ain’t no joke. Good luck to you all in this transition.
Every time I mention to my doctors about peri, they tell me I’m too young. I’m now 45. My mom hit menopause by 50. I’ll be looking for a gyno who specializes in menopause. I’m sick of being ignored.
Doctors are hopeless. They do ONE DAY of nutrition in college. I know as my Uncle is a GP and he told me himself. Nutrition is SO important in these years,
I’m 30 But the fertility specialist said yesterday that I’m peri menopausal aswell as have adenymyosis!! I did have cancer 4 years ago so I knew this would happen as the last cancer treatment was meant to bring on the menopause but it didn’t 4 years ago and now they reckon it’s happening which is hard when we want children so we are starting ivf soon as they said I will struggle xx
Can you have all of these symptoms EXCEPT for the irregular periods? My period comes on time (though very heavy now with BAD cramps), every month, but I have panic attacks, palpitations, anxiety, shortness of breath, and a bunch of other symptoms and I'm in my early 40's.
I was irregular all my life, from menarche until mid-40s. Cycles of up to 90 days. 35 was quite short for me. Then, all if a sudden, I started getting "normal" cycles! 26-29 days. That was my clue that perimenopause had started, because it was a deviation from MY normal.
But my doctor dismissed it completely, because my cycles were "normal". Yeah, not normal for me! The " normal " cycles lasted several years, along with subtle symptoms. Then, they turned wacky for a couple of years, sometimes 20 days, other times 80. Hot flashes did not appear until periods stopped. Also, severe increase in joint pain and discomfort sleeping.
@@catherinemoran9037 NOOOOOOOO??? So strange to find someone like me!!! I asked Menopause Barbie (if you don't know her, check out her channel). After joking that I was like Benjamin Button, she hypothesized that I may have had PCOS all my life (irregular periods being a major symptom), and that when my progesterone declined in early perimenopause (progesterone leaves first), that somehow cleared the PCOS. And this theory totally made sense to me, as I always suspected I had PCOS, due to other symptoms (very oily skin). But because I don't fit the profile morphologically, no one bothered to check.
Thank you so much for the information, I thought I was losing my mind or have BPD. I’m prone to very high anxiety, I got diagnosed with severe depression and General Anxiety Disorder. Almost every day I have bouts of high anxiety, and brain fog, and the brain fog is scary, it feels like I’m disassociating. I do drink too much alcohol sometimes to cope with anxiety, but it’s a vicious loop of anxiety and depression that gets worse after drinking. I know that I need to cut down on alcohol, and feel so guilty and ashamed about other things that I can’t control it sometimes. I’m going to buy the Omega-3 supplements you suggested. Thank you so much again, your video has really helped me, and I know how to take steps now to get better 💗
I have all the symptoms like you and have been losing my balance along with extreme heart palpitations. I’m already anxiety ridden and my friend said I need vitamins b, d and magnesium to help alleviate the symptoms.
I was on birth control for 17 years, had no idea that I had started perimenopause around the age of 32(?). Got diagnosed with fibromyalgia at the age of 36, b/c peri had apparently exacerbated a hereditary nervous system condition that I wasn’t previously aware I had. Went off of birth control last September, at the recommendation of my PCP (b/c I had turned 41 a month before) and got slammed with hot flashes like a volcano exploded inside my body. I had hot flashes and night sweats while on birth control, after the fibro diagnosis, but chalked it up to fibro flare ups. That was dumb of me, but I had no clue. Why is it that doctors are completely oblivious when it comes to women’s health? My rheumatologist didn’t even test my hormone levels to rule out perimenopause. I was almost 36, and the doctor was female. You’d THINK, with being an older woman, that she would’ve considered it. Then again, she wasn’t even astute where fibromyalgia is concerned so…nevermind. Lol!
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2018 but now I suspect I'm going through perimenopause I get hot flashes constantly sweating only when I'm physically active like walking to the shops for food, house work etc and also gaining weight I've always been slender only started gaining the weight since April.

Hello lovely! Immediately subscribed when I watched this video. I get so excited when I see other women talking about menopause. It's such a taboo subject and needs us women to normalize this sort of conversation. So thankyou for being a pioneer of this movement.
I'm turning 37 next month and all these "fun" symptoms started up when I was in my 35th year. Kept hearing "You're too young!" Well, it's not all in my head, I'm miserable! I'm working on helping my body handle it all better, not fighting it but trying to just deal with it.
I'm about to turn 40 and I have almost everyone of these and my doctor told me I'm nuts 😳. My mom and grandma where both 42 when they went into menopause. This makes me feel SO MUCH BETTER. I'm not losing my mind! I most likely I'm in permenopause. Sadly but hey it happens. Thank you, thanks for sharing the not so common symptoms
I'm the same age and it's such a defeating feeling because it's not 1 thing you can do to help it and I'm single with no kids and don't even have children to showcase that makes it all worth it.
You're so lucky! Both my mother and grandmother had hysterectomies in their 30s so I have no way of knowing how the women in my family would have handled it.
Palpitations, tinitus, weight gain, hot face, headaches, no libido, vag dryness, aching joints, congestion, dry nose and eyes. Crying for no reason, acne, burning mouth, fatigue, Brain fog, blurry eyes don’t want to drive long distance, new fear of flying - depression and anxiety 😢

Ugh 😩 this part of life sucks!
So Infuriatingly frustrating 😡
Really makes you wonder what the women doctors do for themselves.
I would also add hair loss as a part of this list. Anyone else???
Yes! For a time when I washed my hair there was a scary amount of hair at the drain.

I started this journey at around 36...
Thanks so much for posting.

hormone replacement therapy is the best decision I ever made. I had some symptoms but they were very mild but when I started HRT the few symptoms I had disappear. I am very happy with my decision.
Does that posses cancer risk and other arthritis
I had to figure stuff out on my own and discovered that as we hit 30s/40s our nutrients and vitamins have dropped or are dropping significantly as well. Once I fixed those low levels and adjusted my diet (removed trigger/inflammatory foods, I felt way better and those symptoms went away....if I slip up I go right back to feeling like crap/weird.
What are the triggers?
I experienced this also. I started to take it seriously and take a multi vitamin and iron for my anemia, and a probiotic and I noticed improvement, but perimenopause was still wreaking havoc on me so eventually I had to get on birth control which was a rough adjustment I am still going through.
You also need progesterone and estrogen replacement.
You nailed it! All very true! Plus panick attacks and fears. Plus like a wave in the brain that lasts few seconds, painless ( can’t explain the sensation)

From one women to another, I am so greatful for this video. It definitely help me to understand what I am going through
Thank you so much for talking about this.
So
When he said all was within normal
Range, I asked for a copy of the bloodwork.
TikTok has been a great resource for finding people with similar experiences and learning about possible solutions s

Same here the doctor said it can affect my thyroid,It's hard..
I started having these issues 3 weeks ago and feel like I’m going crazy. I’m 48 and have been having very heavy periods and had two this month. The second one was light. Palpitations are scary.
Meeeee!!!! All of that started a year ago. I’m 44 this year.

Definitely peri menopause for atleast 5 years. I'm 45. My confidence has never been higher though, this is probably because i fight - i mean literally, I spar once a week, tai chi as well. Make your 'qi' stronger as you get older❤️

I can relate I turned 45 I’m all over the place,,
😪😪😪😪
Gives me hope
I also gave birth at 43
I was always hoping for being pregnant in my forties, because it was impossible earlier.
I was always feel much younger than I am, I was super healthy, but some huge stress hits me, plus long covid and now I'm feeling all of the symptoms with 37☹️. My grandmothers have their periods until almost 60, this is really a bit shocking to me.
I no longer drink alcohol so maybe that’s why I haven’t felt hot 🥵 flashes so bad . Thanks for your comment .
Oh gosh…I’m 45 and the emotional rollercoaster I’m on a few days before my period is my big issue also.
@@jpeek1009 It does help to hear this, thank you.
You need to do more than pray. Be proactive. The fact you can't drive or go anywhere without anxiety. Do the research it doesn't have to be like that.

This is very helpful! I have all these symptoms you just spoke about. Most worrying was the brain fog!
My GF is definitely dealing with #7 at 47. She used to be a spontaneous get-up-and-go type of gal, but I find that she's a more anxious traveler, preferring to be more of a homebody. I'm glad it's hormonal rather than some type of trauma I didn't know about.
I love that you’re watching this to understand your girlfriend and what she’s going through ❤
Same....I came on to congratulate him too. My hubby is just like that. Blessed ladies
OMG I thought it WAS Lisa Eldridge. Doppelganger or what!!?😍
And sounds like her
I was thinking that too. Very similar.
It's freaky! So so similar.. even the mannerisms.. the way their mouths move, etc. Wow. Definite doppelganger indeed.
I feel like I went into full on menopause during Covid lockdown. What a cruel joke, I was anxious, had intermittent insomnia, I was walking multiple times/day and couldn't shed a pound! Until I started researching I had no idea
(aside from hot flashes) the extent of ALL the symptoms! I have no self esteem or confidence and out of the blue, driving long distances paralyzes me. Sometimes I have anxiety in the car even when I'm NOT driving. TY for openly talking about all of this
All the symptoms, I am experiencing, just don't have the energy and desire to be out and about.
Me too. Horrendous x
I had the same experience with panic in the car when I wasn’t the driver. I needed Ativan occasionally. It did help. That was pre-Covid. I feel more calm now & my “sparkle” is coming back…so don’t lose hope.
I am 44 and I started having bad anxiety, palpitations and pulsating tinnitus for the last 3 years now
Thank you for speaking to the confidence factor.

Just turned 50
Have dry itchy skin
Always have insomnia, increase weight , hot flashes, memory lapse, tired. 😥
turned 40 this year, now i get to miss every other period for the first time in my life! on top of the new wrinkles, lack of sleep, brain fog, short temper and weight gain. oh and night sweats!! fun stuff.
😞

I just had tinnitus a minute ago. Scares me because you get anxious and think it's a symptom of going deaf. I'm 53 and have never had it until recently. Would iron tabs help low ferritin then?
I didn't know all those symptoms were from anemia omg. That explains a lot thank you for posting this!

I can relate to that everythjng went down hill when I turned 45 I don’t feel normal anymore,😥
I’m sorry 😢. It really sucks.

You probably need oestrogen aswell.

I hope my confidence levels won't go down to much. I always had poor self-esteem, and the last few years I've started to feel so much more confident.
I guess people are really different then. I actually learned driving at 38. I'm now 46 and things haven't changed much for me. I had to deal with some chronic health issues in my first 30 years. But since that phase ended, I've been feeling great!
Not all women experience fear of driving. I find travelling is a fucking nightmare though. I've hated it for years but its unappealing now.
Yes exact same except the hot flashes. My cycle had gone from 28 days to 24. I've have 3 within two months this year!!
This is a description of me. THANK YOU. Its so reassuring
That’s what happened to me. They kept getting closer and closer together then 3 1/2 months non-stop bleeding that was more like hemorrhaging, surgery, 5 iron transfusions an absolute nightmare!
Thats exactly what I am having. I'm 48.
What if your periods have always been 24-25 days in between ? I’m 35 and they’ve been this way since I was 20.
Yes
Same here especially on my legs
And itchy but no rash
I get that too, on the tip of my nose, top of my head, some times my back. Weird.

Same!
What symptoms did your mother experience ? I have symptoms that make me experience anxiety
I fast during the day, as I've lost my appetite but not much weight( don't ask) But I walk every day, despite lack of everything but , once realized there's no other options but take each day at a time, you're on a positive! And finding a real friend who understands helps.

I’m almost 40. Two years ago I started having panic attacks. Sometimes nothing triggers it.
Have you had your thyroid checked? Same thing happened to me, I thought I was going mad, but it turned out to be completely treatable hyperthyroidism.
That was me as well, and this year in turning 54 everything changed. I guess I was a late "bloomer" LOL
I’m turning 45 next month and I don’t have any of these symptoms. I feel that this possibly caused by the American lifestyle.
Thus far all my labs have shown no more auto immune antibodies 6 months after chiro & current labs are best they have been in over 20 yrs. Grateful to God. I assume it had to do with K2 & chiro. Exercise doing weights at home helps burning fibro pain in my back so much. Sadly I have not been able to do in a few months due to life being very hectic & overwhelming. Best luck & blessings.

I've just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia after trying to figure out what was wrong with me for the past 6 years. I'm 36.....
I asked my Doctor if perhaps my symptoms were menopause and he said oh no, you're too young for that.....I'm 48!! I am so grateful that I'm not going crazy
Same....my doc told its too early at 42 and I had horrible anxiety depression and panic attacks .....glad I know it's part of peri menopause 😅
@@kys1855 YES!! Especially as it seems to just start suddenly and you've never felt that way before! I felt totally incapable of making any decisions about anything for a while there.
I would find another doctor. He's out of touch with a basic bodily process. Not good!
I think the trick is yes a healthy lifestyle less stress and do not fight it. Go with the flow.
Apart from other symptoms I'm suffering from hair loss. It's terrible! And my face changed a lot I became "ugly". I couldn't recognize myself on photos. It's very depressing.
Dont think of yourself this way. Maybe there is something you can change to make you feel better. Maybe a new haircut, new make up etc.
Same here! I don't recognize myself anymore... It's depressing...
Thank you
Thank you for a concise, clear and informative video. 😊
very interesting good to hear more about it
Thanks for sharing, very helpful, it helps me understand more -
Been experiencing almost all of the symptoms mentioned here.
Your ovaries will shut down eventually so enjoy the respite for another 24 months or so.
Thank you! I thought I had early onset. 😅 and yes alcohol definitely plays a huge part in brain fog.
For me i've gained weight around the middle. can't shift it like i could before. hot flushes just recently lasting few mins probably 20 times a day but also generally much warmer all the time and cant tolerate warm places! aching legs every morning, broken sleep every night, insomnia and more migraines. period gaps getting further apart. i appreciate the good days and hope it will soon become a bit easier. gp said theres no blood test now to confirm Perimenopause. Thanks for posting. 😬
I am 47 48 next month and I’ve never been more miserable! I have a great husband a wonderful dog a daughter that is all grown up....yet I’m a disasters! Impatient, moody, forgetful, low confidence, indecisive low excitability the list is long. I’d like to crawl out of this body most days. I just don’t understand how any of this is normal when I hear in certain countries they don’t even know what all this means. Perhaps it’s the high stress of city living, the constant chaos around us drives our hormones and us mad in the process.
No, it's the highly inflammatory Western diet. Japanese women drink a lot of miso, and have natto and fermented foods.
Poisoning... and incredible stress put on women.
Thank you!
Thank you. Such an informative video on quite a sensitive change in a woman's life. I am 39 and am noticing very small changes that tie in with a lot of what you said.
I'm 40 and my life is hell at the moment. My joint pain is extremely bad. My feet and ankles are extremely painful, I walk around like an 80 year old. My mood swings is off the scale, I'm still getting regular cycles but I'm moody all month long, depressed, low motivation, dry ears, dry genitals, heart palpitations, weight gain that is extremely difficult to shift, constantly feel like sobbing. It is pure pure hell.....😞😢

Thank you for mentioning tinnitus not many mention that.
I’ve been saving money on heating with all the hot flashes I’m having. Lol.

Wonderful information, thank you so much❤
Supplements and diet!I started having dry eyes at night.
To all the women going through the same all my love ❤️
Had my last period at 42. Felt as if was on an emotional rollercoaster for the preceding 5 years or so. It was horrible and doctors never mentioned perimenopause as a possible cause.
I am so sorry. You are the second person with this similar experience of being completely left in the dark after seeking medical attention. I have years, no decades, of being disappointed by medical professionals. Glad we are able to get more information and learn of better doctors now because of the web.
Doctors suck
Did your doc end up telling you what caused the constant bleeding?

Thank you.
Nutrition is SO important in these years,
Thanks. I am 39 & will keep a check.
So, you see, we all have different patterns.
@@dammar117 Absolutely the same here. Irregular all my life and then suddenly extremely regular.
Am 51 experiencing palpitations hot flashes ,sleep issues ,body aches and pains ,brain fog,
Thank you so much for the information, I thought I was losing my mind or have BPD.
@@4WindsofChange The balance thing... me too! I have been going to the docs and they haven't yet suggested this, but everything else.
You are not alone with this.
Many of us can relate.
Sometimes it feels like your own body/mind is turning against you.
Stop drinking and start Sertraline x
Lol!
I have fibromyalgia and am getting perimenopause symtoms to I'm 35 had last baby year ago its made my fibromyalgia much worse did u get cold sweats x?
I to put it down to flare ups x
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2018 but now I suspect I'm going through perimenopause I get hot flashes constantly sweating only when I'm physically active like walking to the shops for food, house work etc and also gaining weight I've always been slender only started gaining the weight since April.
doctors are so unaware! it is ridiculous and not acceptable!
Can I ask do u get sweats and chills with your fibromyalgia I'm 30 just been diagnosed its robbed my life I'm young mum of 4 and feel like I'm dying x
This was a great video. Just subscribed.
Thank you so much
MY BODY IS 50.. BEEN THROUGH HELL SINCE 2018. LOST HOME. BEEN IN PSYCHE WARD 4 TIMES SINCE. ALOT OF PEOPLE STILL HAVEN’T HEARD OF PERIMENOPAUSE! HONESTLY.......WE WOMEN ARE STILL SUFFERING BIG TIME! AND G.P’S ARE USELESS!
ALL OF IT. I'm going to be 48 in a few months and I've been experiencing all that has been explained for at least the last 3 years. Sigh....
Wow, this is the story of my life... I started at around the same age .. I'm 40 now...
Same here
It started for me at 36 years. :(
Quite a few of those symptoms can be lînked to thyroid as well. So I would say get that checked too.
That definitely is a bummer. Hopefully you have a good Dr that listens and can help guide you
