never knew about either of those events. i always thought bandits and lions attacking and that merchant moving around is exclusive to historical campaigns. not to mention marriage, jester, plague or carnival fair. but maximum popularity? i tried it just yesterday. failed mostly. its really hard to get 75% religion on skirmish mode. not only lots of money needed to make those buildings but also priests dying. and that's aside from food coverage problem and bribery. thanks for the video. loved it really. gonna keep trying it by this new knowledge.
You must build a cathedral and church, one of each Then pause the game with P botton, stop their working then resume the game again, then keep doing this for like 3 or 4 times You can have 5 priests at one cathedral and church with their effects :D
I think it would create weird feedback loops of people leaving cause crowding is normal and stats are bad but then people come back because no one lives there and there's plenty of room.
@@stealthbeastgaming I mean I THINK that's a thing in ShC or Sh1 (or both) that if you wrre chillin at zero popularity for a certain amount of time then the game gives you a small popularity boost to about 45 or 49 for 30 seconds. Thus bringing peasants back. But it's been a minute since I've been at zero pop so I can't remember
@@TheLostArchives1 You're right, there is something like that in both games! If your population ever hits 0, for any amount of time, the game will instantly spike your popularity up to 75. Nothing else, but it has the same effect. Oh, also, if your popularity hits 0, your workers will only go down to your final 4. So a way to abuse this system is to tell the workplaces to sleep, hire the 4 people as troops, and BAM, you got 75 popularity. It's technically abusable but it's only something you'll abuse if you're so down on your luck that your economy is basically completely dead, which is probably why they didn't come up with a better solution when SH:C came out.

About crowding, -2 is not the max, the bigger the disparity the worse negative popularity you get, so you can get -10 crowding if you have 114 pop. and place for 8

Used to play it like that, but since I've beaten the game plenty of times already there's not much left in the game for me to do (Except online matches) which aren't really playable right now

Basically this is how religious work, the priests walk to pheasant or unit and give them some bless, they sometimes wondering around or mostly get kill... If you want to get blessings easily try have 24 unemployed pheasant on the campfire
I'm not 100% sure but I don't think there's a difference, you just get a one time bonus for building your first church or cathedral The rest is all about increasing your priest count
Those are events, they don't happen in skirmish matches But you can play castle builder and press F1 for the events menu, you can force an event or invasion to happen from there!
It's a random event that gives you +16 popularity, nothing else And random events never happen in Skirmish modes, only in free build or custom scenarios
I almost forgot where did you get stronghold from i got it from steam and its bugging sometimea in one mission my catapults starts dissapering and then it never happend again
And Maybe its because i maybe glitched it with asassins i have tried to beat many levels with asassins and i keep changing the speed a lot so maybe it can be it

Just have to be low population, like 26 and have all workers inside the town (no woodcutters or far quarries) then religion coverage is simple
Its a real shame that crowding can't go over 0. Like people should be happy there's plenty of room to live.

Tbh I've sometimes struggling on the Stronghold military campaign cuz of that on very hard mode

The another issue is they mostly do suicide mission if they ever try to bless your unit near enemy castle, I keep seeing my priests die from ballista.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think there's a difference, you just get a one time bonus for building your first church or cathedral
The rest is all about increasing your priest count
