- In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4) video we will be giving every province in the world to the country that represents the primary tag for that country. This will add many many new countries to every content in the world, making for some interesting starting borders, and hopefully, some interesting finishing borders as well!

Also is it me or Poland/PLC and Scandinavian AI seems to be a bit OP due to the revamps that have happened by the updates? Ive seen many videos they dominate and sometimes even beating the Ottos...

@@FonikosGazmas I think the Ottoman is very strong in the normal game and in this mode. The Ottomans can easily become an empire, they don't have to fight the Turkish principalities and they can defeat Syria before the mamluk in addition Ottomans can easily ally with powerful nations in this mode.

Don't take the game too seriously. As a Chinese, I've seen countless Ming explosions in EU4, followed by Russian invasions, Bengali invasions, or the occasional Korean and Japanese invasions. To be honest, I am quite surprised to see such a big Qing. Most of the time, Chinese Paradox players will laugh and find out which country they have become. It's like how France always surrenders in Hoi4. I can understand how that Pakistani bro feels, but a game is a game after all.
This is because Manchu is one of the best nations in the game. Its a horde that represents the largest Chinese culture group and can easily invade the others due to being a horde. Its not that hard to beat Ming even when there united.
As a french I understand your example in Hoi4 when France always surrenders but i'm dont angry about it , its just a game after all. And in France we know that our ancestors fought hard even for 4 weeks so there's no reasons to be mad but a lot to be proud of.
china is terrible in this game compared to in real life, i have seen it get conquered by a weak russia which just got destroyed by poland in my hindustan campaign. hopefully the next update fixes that

Unfortunately, HRE is extremely hard coded, as In impossible to have multiple versions of it in one game.
As a Greek, damn it feels just right. even the PU with southern Italy its actually legit to form Magna Grecia.
As a Turk I feel the need to play regular old 1444 Ottomans to get that image of Greece out of my head.

@@asdfomfglol They belong to the Iberian culture group, so there must be the decision to form Spain militarily. The only explanation I can think of is that the AI didn't core the required provinces to do so.

How about a video where nations can't break alliances once they are formed? Break Alliance peace option disabled, +5000 reasons to go to war when called to arms, +1000 reasons to keep alliance, that sort of thing? Alternatively, for maximum carnage maybe you could do a video where every nation has +10 or so diplomatic relations available?

In terms of colonists, it seems like the AI will prioritize using their colonist to promote dev if the available colonizable land is just trash. I could be wrong though.

2:14 as a people live in Java, specifically in Sunda land, I really surprised when first time hear about it, but then realise why there is just too many times traffic jam happened here ( maybe 3-6 times a week)

I would be interested to see run again, but each nation is a custom nation at start, so they each have the same idea groups and near identical mission trees
This way, it's more about the provinces of each culture group, rather than nations representing them
As a Bengali this is sad 😢 but also this is kinda reminiscent of the time when Burmese lands were consolidated by a single monarchy which also aimed to conquer west (including Bengal i think) but the Brits had already invaded us by then and dampened their westward expansion.
i'm glad to see that chewy is making uncontroversial videos that will make absolute nobody angry!

Make North America cultures into natuons again, BUT also make them their own version of the HRE together, to see if they can stop colonization
1. Whole World HRE. 2. Whole World Mandate Of Heaven. 3. Both in same time. 4. Natives with European tech levels, Europe with Native tech leve. Reverse colonization. Even better if Europe will be mostly uncolonized and all nations be nomadic tribes, while Natives will be strong states.

Catalonia slow growth for most of the game, then just blowing up as soon as they find the new world. I'm guessing the institution disparity was in their favour. And everyone else was too far away for AE to matter?
Here's an interesting idea that would take advantage of that 'every country get's a colonist' thing: Decolonize the world, give every culture, including Lost Cultures, one province in their aproximate home region, spread them out, and let the fur fly.
I imagine if this style of play was done for the Rome game that it would be more controversial. A few cultures in that game are not looked well upon these days for different reasons.

The 'culture' in EU4 is more like a language mixed with nation. Its not ethnicity. What you have there on the map are nation states not ethnostates.

I always play as an ethnostate. I know it’s not meta, but I like map painting. I don’t view what I do as “genocide” more or so just assimilating ethnicities into the culture.
