Rest in peace George Alagiah. This edit on works because of how good and consistant he was as a presenter
It's been 10 years since I first saw this video and I still can't hear or read the word Hereford without thinking "Hereford Hereford Hereford. Jeremy Cook, BBC News, Hereford."
Currently in Hereford and had to come and watch this video
I thought I was the only one
Same. My friend just told me his wife is going to Hereford for a business trip and that's why I'm back here. 😂
Lmao I’m going to Hereford this week and I cannot think about anything but this
Bro same
300 units every 45minutes. Good ol' Scotland
According to one commenter from a while back, "that's barely a night out in Scotland". XD
Don't forget to stop by the pub and grab one on the way home now!
@@thedirtyfivethirty3844 yeah Boris would like that.
Up there that's just starter or apperitif.
It would be competition between Scotland & England.
RIP George Alagiah, hope you're having 300 units every 45 minutes up there.
"They say you should have 300 units every 45 minutes and stop off for a beer on the way home. That's already a guideline in Scotland." Fucking love it!
EL SHIRES MAN 738 I thought that was the guide line for ireland
I would of that'd be in Scottish Constitution.
EL SHIRES MAN 738 My, I certainly didn't know it was a good experience, being slaughtered!
Just reading this is making me laugh.
I know and I'm Scottish, it was absolute fucking genius and hilarious.
10 years have passed and the news is still the same 🤣
300 units every 45 minutes!! I lost my shit!
The Frazzle and stop off for a beer on the way home
xwf2001 thats only reccommended in reality it's at least 12 not including evening drinks or the one just before bed with your mouthwash.
I lost it to at that part this kid is awsome he has earned a sub
The Frazzle I nearly physically wet myself when I heard that bloody Scotland looooool being an alchy ;-(
+The Frazzle Thats why the scots voted SNP cause they were pissed.
"Okay, hello." Gets me every time.
if one man can be edited and still sound THAT consistant, he is an awesome news reader.
"The court in Paris says it's up to Scotland to decide!"
As a Glaswegian, I whole heartedly laugh out loud.
Rest in Peace. My favorite news presenter at the BBC, George Alagiah!
HEREFORD HEREFORD HEREFORD
hmm... maybe
Lmao i moved to Hereford last year, forgot about this video.
JEREMY COOK BBC NEWS *HEREFORD*
Jeremy cook bbc news. . . .HEREFORD
Shite hole then?
RIP George. Glad to see so many people thought of this vid
Rest in peace George.
Whenever I see George Alagiah presenting the news all I can think of is this video.
Edit: first thing I thought of when he died, may he report on salacious gossip in heaven
Great that hes finally back
@@pov_music Aye. More salacious gossip on the way!
:(
The amount of times the media report stories out of context, it's good to see that someone has got their own back.
Eh, BBC is impartial bro.
Im sure that's what they want to be but the individuals who work for them aren't 100% impartial. Media is media they have to bend stories to make them interesting. The BBC release Puerto much the same stories as everyone else.
pipnina
On the Israel/Palestine conflict, BBC sides with Israel on Scottish Independence BBC are with the NO side. very impartial indeed.
DFandV Well, I mean the first letter of BBC does stand for "British" so they'd obviously not want a large part of Britain to be lost in favour of independence as it'd sort of remove about 25% of the Britain from the name.
pipnina You've obviously not looked in to it enough to realise the BBC are anything but impartial.
Remember seeing this video a decade ago. RIP to the Tamil legend
With my eyes closed, it sounds real!
As a resident of hereford, that part of the video always gets me
Rest in Peace George ❤
I think this portrays the public mood quite accurately.
the BBC has now won rights to broadcast child pornography
classic
and there could be more bad news on the way
I loved that headline ...
The BBC wishes they had that right. Filthy peados that they are.
Its called the 70s and 80s
Goodness gracious goodness gracious me
RIP George! 😢
“When it comes to alcohol how much is too much? A court in Paris has said it’s up to Scotland to decide.”
Nothing good can come of this.
I came here because even now, 11 years later, whenever someone says a UK town name beginning with H, I think of "Hereford. Hereford. Hereford. Jeremy Cook; BBC News, Hereford."
RIP George as well
The fact that he said women remain confused and worried with that picture of Miliband in the background was just perfect!
2:14
That was the best part.
Yes. I've loved this for years
Cassetteboy for PM!
Rip George Alagiah!!
RIP George Alagiah
as a Scot the 300 units was hilarious
And don't forget to stop off for a beer on the way home!
RIP my man
RIP king. There could be more bad news on the way...
So long, George.
wow this is a tribute to how consistent his voice/inflection is that these clips go together really seamlessly
'Ok hello' was more than enough to entertain me repeatedly
Back again in tribute to George Alagiah. We stan our dear news reader. ❤
Why Why Why Why Why, Why Why Why Why Why, Has it taken me sooo long to tap TH-cam up for the wonderful Cassette Boy! Clearly because I am rubbish, as He is BRILLIANT! Tears are Literally running down my face.....
Came straight here when I found out the news 💔
This is even more accurate than the real news.
Rest in peace
I just love it when things fall perfectly into place
All these years and this is still a classic.
Do you know how many times over 8 years I've just muttered "Hereford, Hereford, Hereford. Jeremy Cook, BBC News, Hereford." to myself?
Farewell George ❤️
I saw a news item about Cassette Boy on the BBC News. It made me look his stuff up, and I'm so glad I did.
Couldn't stop laughing! His humour is insanely brilliant.
Excellent use of TH-cam.
Rest in peace George Alagiah 🙏 legend
Scotland says you should drink 300 units every 45 minutes and stop off for a beer on the way home lol this is already a guideline!
I haven't laughed so much in ages. Bloody brilliant, as Lord Sugar might not have said. 😉
I came here for Hereford.
Absolute gold even decade later
This is classic I watch it regularly
This is fucking great.
Hereford
Wow, BBC English blends together really seamlessly.
The ending of this is truly silblime.
I don't think 300 is enough. It should have been taken to Ireland to decide.
+Cazza Cornetto Add a Russian too?

It's simply a work of art. Absolute genius. I can't even begin to think about how to construct a video anywhere near as awesome as this....

RIP George Alagiah! ☹️ loves this vid!
pissing myself at how relevant all this still is
Thank you so much for making this. A masterpiece.
This is the funniest thing you have done yet. It has even surpassed the Attenborough one as my favourite. Absolute, unadulterated genius.

Watching in 2018, cassette boy your content is still as good now as it was 7 years ago, I'll always find these mash ups so funny
Honestly one of the funniest things I've ever watched! Excellent video Cassetteboy!
LOL, brilliant ending.
Loving your video edits, Cassette Boy, lol.

This is brilliant work Cassetteboy! I need to listen to more of your TH-cam clips, as I could do with laughing more often, God bless you!!
The fact they deliver news in the same deadpan tone makes it look really effective in a mash-up
