One would also call this a photoscan…it ain’t a static image, as there is perspective drift in the camera movement and you see that correctly applied his body. This is more likely a 3d model of him, put onto the 3d model of the „elevator“
@@D3Z_animations obviously, you can't apply shadows to a 2D model in a 3D environment. Also with the kind of budget apple has it wouldn't make sense to make it look way worse just o save a few thousand dollars

They are used frequently in movies where the perspective doesn’t really change too much in a scene and you can just cut out the original footage. It is very much more costly and time intensive to get a 3d scan, so it isn’t just “Apple is big company, of course they did a 3d scan, it could have also been that Craig didn’t have the time to come to a scanning studio….I was simply trying to explain that to @light gray….
