- Steve Jobs was famous for his "one more thing" announcements during Apple product events. CEO Tim Cook has carried on the tradition, most recently with the Vision Pro mixed reality headset. These are our favorite "one more thing" moments all rolled up.

Steve Jobs actually didn’t use the “one more thing” for his biggest new product announcements (for example he didn’t use it for the iPhone or iPad), but usually for crowd pleasers that could be big or small, sometimes even just a new feature.
But since it was one of his catch phrases, Apple now uses it in his honor for their biggest product announcements, which I think is a really nice touch.

They simply take advantage of the positive impact that the phrase has left and use it now when they need it most. It’s not honor, it’s marketing. And that’s okay.
If by the things of life the phrase had been left with some negative connotation, even if Steve or whoever said it, it would simply never be mentioned.
Apple has the magic touch and has history with their products like the 9:41 on every product, unlike Samsung and Google.
Steve Jobs’ presentations are just incredible. He keeps it so simple but everything just sounds so exciting. Even looking back on 15 year old technology is exciting when he presents it

Yeah. I am not even into Apple but he makes it sound like these products will help us go forward into this amazing future where everything is exciting and awesome. One of the best presenters of all time.

Everyone was expecting a vision pro device but the “one more thing” from Jobs gave everyone taken back by surprise!

Steve Jobs did, them announcing Apple Music has no place in this video, seeing as it was 5 years too late when it came out.
Its always interesting to see the way Apple conducts new product announcements. Steve usually built up to the reveal by talking about the product landscape and telling you (before its revealed) the exact reason why they created the product. He will show you the landscape of how bad things are, ask you to wonder "what if there was a way.." and then show you the product. He will then loop back to the original case for the product and show you how they checked off each challenge.
Now its usually video first, talk about it afterwards.

Because there's little to none innovation going on right now. Steve jobs solved problems, current apple events have to make up problems that aren't there

@@subhradeepsharma it does not make sense to buy now. If u know how laptops came when they were first made, bulky and expensive. Hopefully, within a few years or so, it may become affordable.

Who would have thought Apple could come out with something that would top the Steve Jobs era? Vision Pro in the long term will be bigger than the iPhone itself. It is the future of computing.
I think eventually when you can wear it like normal glasses than yes, it will replace all devices including wearables

It wouldnt be that hard to make it less expensive either cause they can just drop the second display which would reduce price significantly. Another thing they should do is try and replace atleast some lf the metal parts with lighter material

I saw a video today of a clip of Steve Jobs talking about her headphones is an Emerson’s experience for audio, but there’s not headphone equivalent for video. He was probably talking about vision pro

Gosh I miss Steve. I watched every apple event from 2008 to 2011 when he died. I’ve still watched since then, but it’s not the same.

If WWDC 2023 was not online only but was like pre-2020 presentations with live audience, they would have clapped and shout for several tens of seconds after seeing vision pro, no matter how good or bad it is
There was an in-person event at WWDC 2023, I was there 😁 and yes, the audience went a bit crazy after the "one more thing" announcement, haha.

Steve would be proud of the innovation Apple has been able to continue for the 12 years since his untimely passing. The Vision Pro is the "everything" device, which is what the iPhone has been for the past 16 years. In 10 years, Vision sales will surpass iPhone sales.

There’s another big moment, that was when Apple introduced the iPhone X, their 10th anniversary phone. I personally think that it is the BIGGEST moment for Apple

I still use my original Macbook air to this day. It is indeed durable. Original battery is nearing 2000 charge cycles.

Who else noticed that during the Apple Watch Introduction Commercial, the final date displayed when the announcer said "It enables precise adjustments", that the final date displayed was January 24, 1984? Significant because that was the date the first Macintosh was announced.

I know that there are agreements between major technological companies to sustain certain level of profits for certain product but i really hope that customers will be able in near future use Smart Watch instead of smart phones .. least of the advantages will be ease of reach and carry ..

I, honestly, did not believe in apple ar (now vision pro) leaks and I was sure that this wwdc would be just a boring os showcase. And when that "one more thing" came, I spit out my tea. Well done, apple. I sure am going to buy the vision as soon as it comes out.
My prediction of the next "One more thing..." is about AI. Possibly finally Siri could be introduced as a Robot? who knows. But something is cooking at Apple that will blow ChatGPT and Bard out the water.
