@@diodedynamics This is the one area I would like to see some options on. I have my ditch lights all set up but I'm struggling to find the right spot to mount/place the on/off switch on by Chevy Colorado. A video that demonstrates ideal switch locations and how to open up the paneling and install the switch would be helpful. There are some resources out there but most skip over how to take the paneling away and where good access points would be located. Any resource recommendations would be appreciated, thanks!
That’s literally the whole reason why I chose to watch this video. Trying to figure out where to pull the wiring through. I wish they would’ve shown it.
It was a perfect video until it was cut short. As others said it would have been nice to finish the wiring process of installation. I get some applications may be different but I feel a large majority could use the same. Even an example would be nice so people can add their own tweaks.
This can be wired in a number of ways, and our wiring included in the kit is not plug-and-play, so it is up to the installer to decide how they want their kit to be routed. With that being said, this kit does include everything needed to wire the light bar up!
Follow up question, will the flood and driving light combo option have the ability to switch between them? Like will it be possible to have only the driving on, but switch the flood on and off when necessary?
@@alexgariepy1127 Hi there, Alex! Thank you for your support! This should not make any difference to your airflow! Unfortunately, they don't between the different optics. The whole light bar is powered at once when it is on. Sorry about that!
A little bit of condensation is normal, especially in the spring and fall when the ambient temperature is much different than the lights. It's the same concept as taking a glass of ice water outside on a hot summer day, it's environmental condensation. If there is standing water inside the lens, that is cause for concern and we would be happy to correct it for you!
Hmmm, we aren't sure about that! We haven't gotten our hands on a Holden Colorado yet to test fitment. We cannot say if it will fit or not, unfortunately. Sorry about that!
About how long does the install take? I guess it’s better to pay someone professionally if you just don’t have the time..? I don’t exactly look forward to taking apart the bumper and putting it back together- but the hidden light at is sharp- I like the looks!
A popular Subaru TH-camr did this with his Crosstrek a few years ago. Do you plan to make brackets and instructions for MY 2018+ Crosstreks? This would be so awesome to have.
@@LEGEND04131 If you buy the headlight bulbs, hope they last longer than mine did. Had both fail within 6 months. DD came highly recommended, and the bulbs were still under warranty, but it wasn't worth the hassle.
I have been searching for wiring techniques. Definitely could have used those from your video. Please add.
Thank you for the helpful feedback, Dave!

Hey Tyler! Thank you for your suggestion. We will note this suggestion for our future installation videos. Thank you!
Definitely getting this for my 2021 GMC Canyon
Why not make a video for the wiring part i mean some of us are not professional installer 😁

Will this impede air flow or will it not make any difference? Btw love your product, changed out all my lights with yours and they look fantastic.

I bought a ss42 light bar in march and few days ago I noticed condensation , diode dynamics said it was normal

Install time should take about 1 to 2 hours!
I need this for the 2020 Telluride!
How did you get the two 10mm Bolts back in that hold the bumper from the front? Does the light bar obstruct access to them (Reference 2:06)
No, the light bar won't obstruct access to them, but if you have any trouble with the installation process you can always contact us!

Do you know if the brackets work for the Colorado 2022?
Our engineers have confirmed that unfortunately, they will not work for the 2022 models. Sorry about that!
Do I need to remove the Ambient air temperature sensor in order to install? It looks to be located in a place that would interfere with installation.
We didn't have to remove any sensors during our installation! You shouldn't have to.
This works on the ZR2?
Yep, this kit is compatible with the ZR2 as well!

These should not effect your front sensors.
