I have pink and purple Mexican petunia growing in a same pot. The flowers of the purple ones are much larger than the pink one. Also the flowers of the pink one seems to be getting smaller each time it flower. Could you please give some advice?
Wonderful video. I recently bought this. It's in a pot in clay soil. I wanted to change that but it's intense summer in North India. Hence I am scared that it will die of heat shock. If I manage in same clay soil by overwatering this pot, yet its not flowering. What to do with this plant?

After the time, they would get composted naturally, like with the help of rainfall, aerobic bacteria etc..Most people usually collect it from Shed itself. Hope, I have answered to your query. I'm afraid I don't have access to some of the ingredients like composted cow manure, so I'll just use a trusted name brand garden variety potting mix that is good for most house plants (brand name is Miracle Gro) and I'll mix in a fair amount of my cactus and succulent mix for good drainage. I'll also sprinkle a little ROOTING HORMONE onto the root ball to stimulate new root development. Transfer the root ball and backfill with the soil mix and water. Direct sun for this plant? It will get direct sun for 1/2 day. I then will wait 2-3 weeks to mildly fertilize. Wish me luck! 🪴

Your plant is blooming beautifully. Congrats. Mine has grown long branches and lesser flowers. Should I prune the branches? Can I do it in summer?
Thank you! Sure, you can do it now easily. After pruning, fertilize it lightly and soon it would grow back and bloom well.

In my mexican petunia buds come but they don't bloom and just seed pods form without any flowers. Why this is happening?
Try using fermented fruit juice and calphos. Works for me,it blooms every day.
