When ever we go to Percy Island we moor in the lagoon, anchor out front and aft line tied to mangroves. We dry out every low tide. We stayed there for up to 10 days. A cat that can't beach is a sad boat.

Hope you don't mind if i ask some silly questions. Was this your first sailing boat? and have you encountered any rough weather and if so, how does this model Snell Easy handle the conditions ? Can you "heave to" in really heavy weather in a catamaran like you would on a monohull . Thank you for your channel. I look forward to your adventures and hope you enjoy your stay in our country. Not at all, please ask questions, we’ll be happy to answer the best we can. This is our first sailing boat, we’ve never been on a boat before.. so a lot to learn!
The east models do well under most conditions, but it gets uncomfortable if the swell builds up and you’re on a beam reach. We don’t really have to heave to as much on a cat, as it is quite stable and you don’t lean as much as on a mono. But for this reason, passages are not as smooth as on a mono on a big sea.
Happy to see you are enjoying it! Means a lot to us. We thought about Patreon, but we were waiting to have at least 1000 followers as we think we are a bit to small yet. But for sure it takes a lot of time to do those videos :)
