    I just bought the 2019 Heritage 114. Absolutely love it. Great bike. Handles unbelievably great. Super comfortable and I’m a big man.

    Just bought the Vivid Black 2020
    Heritage Classic 114. Traded my 2013 Sportster XL1200 Custom. Man, new bike is night and day. The Heritage FLHCS is comfort, and the Milwaukee 8 engine is power. That retro 1940's police bike look is so fricken cool. Well worth the money, and got a great deal on buying new at the Greenville SC dealership !!!👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸100% to the Yes on this bike !!!

    I test road a 2017 Heritage and the one thing I took away from it is that it is super easy to just get on a ride all day.

    If you've had a Harley, you have to ride the '18 Softail to understand how sweet a ride it is. I've had a couple Harley's and they did not handle that well, the 2018 Heritage does handle well. Like he said, its a nice, comfortable ride. One thing to note, the Heritage shock adjustment is under the seat and requires the Harley wrench. The Fatboy's adjustment is a knob you can adjust on the outside. No pun intended!

    To disable the cruise, you can also roll the throttle forward from the throttles idle position.
    This is my dream bike, and I just purchased one last December. Coming from an 06’ Vulcan 900 and an 07’ boulevard c90. The Vulcan had something like a 32-34 degree lean, and I LOVED scraping my boards on it, slow or fast. I’ve only scraped on the heritage once, and that was just the other day. (Only been riding it since the beginning of April). The lean is 28 left, 27 right. I scraped on the right, haha. I’m 5’6, 5’7.5 in my boots and fit this bike perfectly.

    I have a 2020 Heritage Classic V107 in vivid black. I totally love the bike & I was gonna go for the 114 but I wanted the chrome.

      Apparently the power difference is negligible. Maybe 3-5hp difference and same with torque I think

    Never been much of a bigger bike type of person, but it looked really good without the windshield. Cool bike!

      Aaron Green
      thats always been my attraction to the Heritage (I have a 2007) you cant take the windshield and bags off and basically have a fatboy/ deluxe but if you are taking a long trip you can have a bagger

    I have a 2013 103 Heritage, and I am looking to upgrade to this version hopefully in a few months. I will definitely take one for a ride on demo day as our local dealers do not do test rides.

    07:20 I think that is a poor design by Harley that when you lay into it, the speedometer goes blurry. They should fix that.

    Dude also you may roll forward on the accelerator to disable the cruse control. All Harley cruse control bikes are equipped that way....

  • @pinkiewerewolf
    @pinkiewerewolf 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    "Harley is getting rid of the quick detach stuff." that would be a huge mistake, being able to go from a bagger to a sleek cruiser is a big part of the H-D appeal.
    The 2018 Heritage is awesome, took me some time to get used to some of the cosmetic changes. Although, right away I liked the blacked out parts.

  • @lenframe

    I would consider owning one of these. Afraid HD guy has his facts wrong at 13:19. 2018 heritage classic has 27.3/28.5 degree lean angles. The fat bob dyna fxdf for example had 30/31 degree lean stock. Sure it handles great though.

    I have drempt of owning a Harley since I was 14 but never had the money. Now I have the cash sorry but it looks like they are going to be priced out of my range again. So it really looks like a Triumph for me something that won't look out of place beside the T140v I've
    had since 82.

    Do dealerships generally have a laid out route for test drives? Can you request a certain route? What can a person expect from a typical test drive?
    Thinking about buying my first bike. Was offered a test drive. Just want to know what I can expect

    • @straightXdork
      @straightXdork 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Forrest Culver most will have a set route. I have a couple different ones I do depending on the person I'm taking out. If you aren't comfortable on the road I would definitely let them know. At our dealership we have a test range where we do the endorsement class. That's where I take first time riders to get the feel of the bike before going on the Road.

    How are the mirrors on the Heritage Softail? Looks like you might have the same issue we have with the Iron 883 where all you can see are your shoulders and arms. It also looks like swapping and turning the mirrors upsidedown isn't an option on the Heritage because of the tank.

    Not a fan of the 18s. What happened to the sissy bar? The new colors, UGH? Don't see parting with my 17 FLSTC any time soon especially with the issues plaguing the M8 motor. One guy I know is on his third M8 motor this year on his 17 Ultra.

    Good video mate, this is easily my favourite bike of the new line up. I had a 2016 softail deluxe, but traded it to grab a last of the line '72. (always loved the 72, had to have one, found one brand new and had to have it - a pure want purchase) if I get room in the garage, one of these in vivid black or black/olive gold will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine! 😈

    still would rather have mid controls and highway pegs. floorboards just aint for me lol. also wish the heritage had a cast wheel and hard bag option. but i guess that just means if im going bagger i should go road king lol.

      Outlaw Rides I doubt the heritage will ever have mag wheels and the bags are hard, they're just wrapped in leather to make them look old school that way you don't have to worry about them sagging after a while

    I prefer the road king 2 rear shocks and 2 front discs

    It sounded like it was stated that the Saddlebags were keyless, however it appears that there's a place to put a key. Are they really keyless, or did my ears deceive me? (Been riding all day, so it could be my old feable ears) Loving the new ride vid's Mr. Blockhead. WHile everyone else is showing and doing walk arounds, you're actually riding them!!!

      Michael Casler They have a lock if you want to lock them, other wise you just press the button and they open. You don't have to have the key to open them everytime

      Aaron Rashal thanks for confirming. When I heard keyless, I was imaging some keyless fob magical unlocking feature, however I get what your saying now...

      You have to get a cvo for that lol

    Have any of the new 2018's been good enough to make you very seriously consider trading in the Low Rider S ?

    does it mount tubeless tires?

    • @SydeKiK1962
      @SydeKiK1962 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Mine has spokes and without modification they have to have a rim strip and a tube :)

      a big flaw, imho. Many manifacturers are able to provide spoked wheels with tubeless tires :)

      I agree. I like the look but would rather run tubeless

      Francesco Galli.I own a 17 softail slim s and it does run tubeless tires so I imagine the new bikes do too.
