      @@FreddySherman so apparently there is a usb port on the left side of the bike on the front of the side panel

    A couple of points:
    - Red Iron Denim is not an Anniversary color, only one available on the Heritage is the Legend Blue/Vivid Black combo
    - Using their Digital Technician a Harley dealership can do a reflash which allows the driving lights to remain on when the high beam is on

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Excellent information, thank you for commenting (and for watching). Is the Red Iron Denim a stock color with no upcharge?

      Good to know thank you. I just had the CVO Road Glide and will be posting a review tomorrow. Most colors cost extra for the CVO too, I think it comes standard with one color combination.

      @@FreddySherman I went and test rode it this morning. For 40 years, I've been riding superbikes and naked supersport. I have intentionally never straddled any cruiser or H-D until today. It took a few minutes for my brain to adjust my feet to the board location, but I must say I could easily imagine riding this bike all day. While I could feel the weight, I was legitimately surprised by how easy it was to maneuver. I was impressing the dealer team with tight circles in the parking lot. The only unimpressive part of the experience was H-D Sales. Showed me a base price (before tax, freight, etc) that was $7k above MSRP. Laughable. I have already found ultra-low mileage 2019-2021's for a steal. And yes, I just hit "Subscribe."

      @@boxofmoles4057 Thanks for subscribing, I have a lot of motorcycle reviews on the channel, sportbikes and cruisers.
      As a short rider, it's like night and day for me. I can even ride the big Road Kings because they're so low. Most sport bikes have me on my tippy toes.
      That's why they're called cruisers because you can comfortably cruise all day long, it's a very different experience than sportbikes.
      With regards to dealer, may I ask what city you're in? And yes, used is always a better way to go, especially if you can get a warranty and are buying from a reputable source so you know there are no secrets. Have fun and let me know which bike you end up with!

    Just last Autumn I bought one. The panniers leak, the rain gets in. Advice from dealer :- "make some sort of extra cover for panniers out of waterproof material, which I have. Of course the covers have to be held down, so used bungees and clips. I paint pictures so I'm thinking about painting some sort of picture on each cover saying something unpleasant about the panniers and H-D's response.

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well that sucks. This same model with the panniers that come with it? And does HD promote them as waterproof? (I think they should).

      I haven't owned one, but I mainly haven't owned own because I know people who have. They certainly are racy and fun but are probably in the lower third of the pack as far as reliability is concerned-better than BMW (yes, BMW) but not up there with Triumph.

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's high, but I don't think it's ridiculous. It's competitive with other bikes and comes with the windshield and saddlebags standard. It's not crazy expensive with the smaller engine. Thank you for watching.

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's strong, although I barely got it into 6th! Even to cruise on the freeway, I was usually in 5th at the most. The engine is great and the bike doesn't have the extra weight of hard bags or a big fairing. Thanks for watching.
