I know it’s been year since you posted this mod, I have seen many others you have created and have even applied some to my build. However this one in particular has me befuddled, when rebuilding the intake manifold I removed the stock inlet turbo pipe and replaced it with the PERRIN turbo mod and thought nothing else of it. However later while trying ti mount the manifold I found anomalies of improper fitment. Nearing the end of the build and installing the turbo I found alignment of the turbo inlet and the inlet was off by approximately 3/4”. Well after loosening various components and relocating the EGR valve I found it possible to align and secure the pipe to the turbo. Success, but now I have learned that putting the power steer pump in its rightful place is a second new challenge. The pump has been installed, however there’s a reason Subaru has an indentation in the turbo inlet tube, it’s to clear the power steering pump. So Luke, did you install this (SUCKER) the PERRIN air pipe to the turbo and if so did you come across the same issues? If so how did you over come the obstacles associated with the install. Appreciate any advice you came provide Thanks!
odd question what would you paint it with? I want my engine bay to have all Orange aftermarket Parts but a lot of places don't offer Orange. great video

Perrin turbo inlet is better than tomei inlet? Is why you went with Perrin?
No, think they are both good. Just went with the Perrin bc it was in stock.

High heat resistant paint. try lowes or home depot, or an auto store. Get the high heat gloss finish too

Yes, I agree. Any good heat resident paint. Lots on Amazon too.

Great for a bit more airflow, not so good for your PCV system.

I don’t think so, not if everything else were OEM parts.
