Here's a video of how I created some crazy petri effects with alcohol inks, not what I was expecting but sooooo much better!

This opens up so many possibilities.. I’d though about printing onto transparency film and altering that, but this looks incredible.

Thanks so much 🙏 A sinker is a white alcohol ink which is pigmented, the pigment sinks and takes the color down with it 🥰

Amazing! I think they’re all incredible but, my gasp was the loudest at 18:08.😆 The one you said “may grow on you” looked like a green whale in the middle.😊 I can’t wait to try this! Thanks for mentioning how long you waited between each part. I was wondering if using a needle point bottle to apply the resin would work for a more consistent amount and allow for more control.. to create a Nebula or a Galaxy? The resin may be too thick for it to work or it might not dispense a big enough stream.. It would be fun to try’n ‘draw’ a design tho. Thanks Daniel, I always enjoy watching your videos but, this one was extra great.😆

I love this SOOO much!! I tried this and also liked using a single color ink with a different color alcohol ink for the back (such as lime/sinker with azure backing)

Thanks 😊 I often do but I do not recommend it as it can bond the resin to the mold, I don't have an issue at a safe distance 😊

I have heard that some make their own with marker pens, you will need to search on this 😊
@debrajol3585 thanks Deb, I think it's due to location, some of my viewers can't buy alcohol inks in their home country or have them shipped in sadly 😔
@@daniel..cooper oh true. Hadn’t thought about this 😬. If that’s the case maybe less alcohol is better.. I used a lot 😂 probably over saturated my inks. Good luck!

Another great video -thanks for the high volume of demolds! My faves came near the end. The final heart for sure and the small oval where your response was "Wow" - I actually said "whoa" out loud!😂 Question : is the clear resin you pour over the colours the same age as the initial pour or is it fresh?

You may have mentioned it in a video before, do you spray all of your molds first? What do you use to spray them with?
Thanks, I have used it in a lot of vids, I do forget sometimes, it's a silicone release spray and helps keep the molds shiny 😀

I actually like the ones with the clear ribbon look. A lot. But there are others that I love as well. But that clear ribbon . . .

Hi, you can get whites which aren't sinkers. And yes, opaque alcohol inks already contain the sinkers in the colors 😊

Okay I just tried to do these and I did something major wrong cuz mine's all muddied up. I think I was supposed to wait longer before I stirred it. I have a picture but I don't know how to send it to you from here
Try using safe colors to begin. Try just red and yellow or Blue and yellow and wait 1hr before stirring 😊
How long was the resin in the mold before you added anything to it?
Yeah I use the colors you use but the part I did not do is wait 1 hour before stirring. Thank you so much!
