  • #192. The BIGGEST Shift For RESIN ART!... A Video by Daniel Cooper
Here is a Resin Art video which I think changes a lot for resin art! I know this can be done with nail polish but I have never seen it done in this way with UV Resin and would ultimately be much cheaper than nail polish in the long run!
You could potentially pre make any color and store away for future use, again, this is still in the experimental phase, I will make some and store it away to see if it is 100% usable after storage, I can't see why it would not work! THIS IS EPIC!!!
Please do NOT experiment with products which may be dangerous if mixed with resin!

If you get green florist tape, you can just wrap them all at once, then it won’t be so bulky. When using the tape you pull slightly on it and it becomes tacky and sticks to itself. Great idea.

Amazing! This makes so much sense, as I know you can make a form of self drying dipping resin with clear polymer glue and alcohol. I saw it on sandrartes channel and it works well. I tried it once but am just not patient enough to wait for it to dry 🤣I really like the instant results of UV 😊

When I was a teenager, there was a kit that I had to make flowers like that. You would get the wire and dip it into a solution that made a film like that. Then put the petals together to create a flower 🌺 I don’t remember what it was called because it was like 50 years ago!!

    • @pwarren180

I had that too! I made a ton of flowers. My father gave me the kit. My mother wasn’t that thrilled because she asked me what I was going to do with all the flowers and where I was going to put them. I made hundreds! Fun.

I’ve been using a curing lamp for over a decade doing resin nail art. I have a thin styrofoam that I’ve covered in a sheet of foil. This cures both sides at the same time as it causes the UV rays to bounce around.

@@daniel..cooperI grow stuff and can tell you that mirrors do not diffuse light. If they did, agriculture would use them. If anything, it concentrates the light to a single point. Think of ancient weaponry. Better to use something that is plain white.

That glue bottle is going to last for centuries.
I know it's not about the flower, but instead of having double strands of wire, you only need a couple of turns at the top, and the rest of the stem can be a single wire. This will result in a stem that's less than half the thickness. If you wrap the wires in the same direction, they will tend to nestle together. That is, the second wire goes in the gaps between the first wire's turns. Keep the winding quite open to leave room for the other wires and you won't get that bunching. You could finish off by dipping the stem in some green resin.

What an amazing thing!! First time commenting… Just a thought on assembling. If you twist off both wires of each petal then cut one off so you only have one wire to work with, it would be easier to streamline the stem. My mind is going mad with the possibilities. Love the ‘Tree of Life’ comment above. Just imagine that in autumn colours 😍

😂 you reminded me of my teenage years! (62 now 😮) when you dipped into with the wire petal.. there used to be a plastic type product that you dipped wire petals, it dried and made super thin flower type petals. Then you wired them together to make flower! 😂
    Cool outcome you created!❤

There is polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol and propylene glycol in elmers clear glue and is suppose to be made of all natural occurring ingredients that comes from corn. This is what i have just looked into. So if that helps. This is trippy so i had to check it out.

  • @sunakonakahara222
    @sunakonakahara222 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

This looks really cool. I don't have any Elmer's clear glue but I have some Dollar Tree clear glue. I might give that a try to see what it does and if nothing else if it doesn't work then I can at least get the Elmer's Glue knowing full well that it works. I recently been thinking about doing dipping resin because I did see on a Japanese Channel where they did do flowers but instead of them dipping them like that they actually put the flower pieces on resin tape and then had the wires on like a little Nail Tech pedestal where you would do individual acrylic nails. So this actually enables me to do something like this without having to buy an extra piece of equipment. Other than maybe investing a dollar or two for a clear bottle of glue

Ive been trying to do this for months and nothing worked, but now, just a lil school glue and BAM! Theres a company that makes "Dipping Resin" but its $35 for about 6 fluid ounces (no thank you) Ive googled it and found nothing. So, You have changed the world for the better without profiting. NOW i Have to be a Patreon, youve saved lots of time and money! Ive been making roses and the only other way is with that weird green tape that doesnt stick to anything especially wire and just makes a big mess. Thank You Sir, Youre my new Hero

Yes, you could, you may need to reinforce the petals with veins though, you just cut some wire to fit inside the petals, uv them in place, then dip 😊
