    I think this can be done with regular epoxy in the same way, I would maybe wait an hour before introducing the polish but I can't see it being very heavy. I'm sure you can all experiment 🥰🤩

      @CicutaLupus ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I actually use Nail Polish in epoxy resin, but depending on the polish, it can discolor, so it's kinda a trial and error as to which polishes you can use.

    If you’re going to use chrome powder (the white might be chrome) you’d need to undercut the cut resin because the chrome powder needs something sticky so that you can burnish it.
    Gel polish would work mixed into resin because it needs a UV light to cure.

    Why not use gel neon colors ?
    Technical question: why can’t I use my pigments in resin? These are not mica powders.
    They are pigments I use to create watercolors with a binder. They just seem to ball up.

      I used normal as have already experimented with gels and had great results in #123 😊 If the pigments ball up, it could be water content.

      @@daniel..cooper they are just powder seem I can use them in resin. They are natural pigments powders. They are Not mica powders . I thought of making pigment paste. Using the pigments and part a or b of resin as a binder.

    Glad I watched this...I bought the same powder and it looks just silvery, not holo.

    Try using uv nail polish with it. I’ve been having fun trying different combos myself.

    Is this UV nail polish? It would make sense that UV would work.... That last heart made me gasp- very pretty!

    I love the nail polish technique. I wonder how it would look with the metallic polish using a chameleon backing?

    The problem i had with nail polish is the polish wants to dry in the resin. At least in my experience

    Now I'm curious about those metal dust/magnetic nail polishes that come with the magnetic pattern stamps that let you create easy nail art. Would it still work through resin and the mold? You'd have to hold the magnetic stamp under the mold to see the design on the front but is it strong enough? 🤔 The curiosity is itching at my brain. 😆

      I have used cat eyes in resin, they work great, I haven't tried the shaped magnets yet though.

    I bet you could use the uv cure gel type of fingernail polish
