I would also be interested by a motherboard swaping video but focusing on the software side : what to uninstall what to install, will my disks be showing up, with the right volume names etc ...
Nice! I am planning to move from my O11D Evo to O11D RGB whenever that came out. I mount my GPU upright so I never had issue with the 12VHPWR being in the way. Instead of moving cases, getting a 90 or 180 degree adapter seems so much easier.
Haha! funny thing i just moved/still moving from Lian Li 001 Dynamic to Be quiet! 901 and used some of your videos to smooth/shorten the build work. I got stuck today when i realize 901 comes with 2 usb headers and my asus B650e-F has only one connector. Not sure which to put in as both have the same labeling.
I have the Meshify S2 which I incidently built watching you do on this channel maybe 2+ years ago 😁 I've been thinking of moving to the Fractal North because its such a lovely aesthetic althought I don't think it will have the same room as the s2 but this video popped up at a good time
@@ChristopherFlannigan Yes I currently have it at the front in the S2 as there's more than enough room. I was using pc-part picker to look at spacing and in my local shop pawing the north that they have. I'm using the artic 2 240 aio so i'll just need to ensure everything fits well enough before potentially moving it, def more snug. Space/Thermals are the main concern. But if its that much of an issue i'll stick with the S2 as its not broken or anything.. it would be purely aesthetic and thats just not enough reason to suffer from space loss and higher thermals etc
Nice switch! Curious, did you clone the C drive, thus saving having to reinstall all the games and such? Unless the games and the game library data is on that alternative drive that you spoke about…
Thanks for the video. I'm looking to do this without detaching the AIO from the CPU. I need to transfer components to a smaller case and don't have thermal paste and isopropyl alcohol to hand. Are there any special considerations I need to take?
I was curious why no RGB in the new case since it was present in the old one. The new Lian Li fans with their single connector would look awesome in there.
This is so freaky I'm doing the same Swap from the O11 Razer but to the Pure Base 500XD that replace I just can't handle anymore my GPU cable being sandwiched to the side panel like you mentioned. I really dislike my experience with the O11 Razer, very disappointed with it. There are major flaws that would be easily fixable with better tolerances.
@@ChristopherFlannigan trying to get a 10900k myself, i recently upgraded my gpu and ram just my motherboard and cpu left to upgrade and def a new case

Nice idea
Was the case really a upgrade or more like a side/downgrade considering you went down in airflow
Planning on moving mine into the new be Quiet! Shadow Base 800 DX. Would love to see you build in that new awesome case!
Timely! I was thinking to swap my case soon, thanks!😊👍

Agreed, I just have a strange position where a case switch is free as I have so many cases
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. Awesome channel !

Plug one in and test your USB-A ports, two will work and two won't. Then swap round the cables if you prefer the other two ports
Thus us one of the easiest things any pc assembler can do , and instant results
Big change

It's not the biggest case from memory, put unless you plan to put aio at front you should be ok

I take the opportunity for a lean install. We have a fast internet connection so everything downloaded the same day and the system much more snappy
Does anyone know the name of the mechanized screwdriver device he uses? It looks really handy. I would like to get one of those.
Chris, im shocked how a card that size has zero sag to it. Must have a good metal plate holding it so flat?
It's a good case and motherboard and small card compared to 4000 series

i went from a IBuypower PC case but i wasnt getting any vibes from it so i swapped my PC case to a Musetex ATX Y6 gaming PC case.
I tried to find that aio, but the stores was empty.
Hi! Which GPU do you use in the video? It's 4090?
Do i need to remove AIO from cpu or i dont need to take it out?
