Brilliant video again, one of the videos that helped me build my first ever pc this week was your build video in the montech king 65 pro case and i love watching all your videos even tho i am no longer in the market for pc parts, happy new year
You're an excellent builder, Mr. Flannigan, and extremely analytical. However, I would like to say that if a category for "Honorable Mention" was available, I would nominate the Montech Sky Two GX. I purchased one for my wife's PC after watching your build and I am beyond impressed with it.
Absolutely love your content. I built my very first PC with the help of your (Lian Li Lancool II mesh) tutorial! I think that video is 4 years old! I’m going to build my second this coming year again, watching your tutorials. I really like the looks of the TUF 502 so, I think I’ve narrowed down to that case. Merry Christmas and, thanks again for all your work/dedication.
Great video. I knew I could count on you to not give the same answers most tech youtubers did. With that being said, I'd really like for you to build in more ITX cases, especially in the NCASE M2.
Thanks for another great video! I'm building my first ever build in about a week's time and I'll be using one of your guide videos to help me do it. Very nervous about it, but your videos have never steered me wrong before so I'm excited!
I love all the cases you selected but in my opinion the best budget case for 2024 is the Montech XR.. Just about the same price but with better aesthetics. It also has the very important 2 fans included underneath the graphics card and it's amazing value that just looks much more eye catching while retaining similar qualities to the Lian Li Lancool 207.. Just my opinion on that one but I loooove your content, you are so knowledgeable and your videos are so informative.
Thanks, it's a great case as well. Not an easy job picking a case this year with so many good options. There reason the other cases have dropped the price is because of Montech, because otherwise nobody would buy anything else.
Great video! I went with one of your winners from the past and bought a HAF 700 EVO towards the end of last year. I'm still astounded at the absolute beast-mode size of this thing. And Merry Christmas to you and yours as well! Looking forward to what you produce in 2025.
Awesome overview from your build experiences. Built a quick PC for a family member earlier this year using your Montech XR build and will soon be building one for myself. I was going to go with the Montech King 95 Pro, but will take a closer look at the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact now. Thanks again and keep up the great work in 2025!
These are all stunning choices, and your build quality is phenomenal. I binge-watched all of your build videos for a month, before deciding upon my choice, which I completed the first week of December. The Phanteks NV5 Mk2 was, for me, the only choice, with options to create an admittedly expensive PC, with fully integrated Phanteks case additions. The final pieces are the two Jujutsu Kaisen Noodle Stopper figurines (Kento Nanami and Yuji Itadori) sitting on the vertically mounted GPU, and an 8.8 inch LCD display sensor panel, inspired by the how-to video from Brisy Tech Bytes. A touch of silly is always a good thing, to keep a proper outlook on things. All in all, your ability to build ultra-clean and gorgeous PCs, explaining every step in clear detail, is an inspiration. Thank you!
I bought the Lancool 207. Not built in it yet, but I'm excited to crack on in the new year. The Phanteks is also a great budget case, but I'm happy with it my choice. I was mostly looking for something compact after my Mrs complained about the size of my current case 😂
I'm rebuilding my second system from Torrent Nano to Lancool 207, for jsut that reason. Very limited space in second setup, but this case lets me do from ITX to ATX in a similar footprint.
I came across your channel while researching for my new build. I am impressed with your PC builds and the high level of detail you go in to. I am a big fan of Phantek cases. I am planning my build around a Phanteks G500A DGRB version and am inquiring if you have any plans on reviewing or doing a build with this case
I have decided to go for the Lian LI 011D EVO RGB instead. As an addition to the build, review and step by step guides for cases can I suggest for you to do a separate video for the unboxing of the case and showing all the accessories that come with the case. Thanks again for the most informative videos I have ever come across and hello from southwest Ireland
I've built in some amazing cases the past few years. I built two for work, one for a VR Studio and one for a Recording Studio, both in the Torrent which I must say was an absolute joy to build in. Then as far as personal builds go, the C8, the H7 Flow (2024) and the Montech King 95 Pro have been equally as pleasurable to build in this year. I haven't quite got the budget for the HAVN but it looks incredible. I am planning a 4th build for Easter time and indecisive on what to go for, but I am eyeing up the Flux Pro or the North XL
@ChristopherFlannigan 👌 top man. Just wondering with the builds, do you own a shop or build for clients as if they are yours I figure you'd be running out of space round about now 😂
Another great year of content, always enjoy watching your builds. I'm sure you'll hit 100k subs in no time, you deserve it. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to you and the family
No. I have moved cards in and out a number of times now to use in builds and it is solid. Best vertical GPU bracket I have used. Almost every other one is not straight and tilts towards or away from motherboard
Thanks, Chris. While I really can't argue with your choices overall, I have to admit that I'm disappointed not to see Montech's *Sky Two GX* even mentioned in the budget case category. It's so vastly improved from the original Sky Two that, for the money ($75), I just *had* to go with it for my most recent personal build -- and I would've had it alongside the other two contenders (at least) for a three-way tie. 😟 Having said that, I was VERY impressed by the Phanteks G400A (although it's not even available for purchase yet here in the US), and I find the Lian Li Lancool 207 somewhat less impressive -- I definitely would've ranked that one below the G400A -- but that may be just because I'm really looking forward to the Lancool *217's* release, which should be just around the corner. Best wishes to you and yours. 👋🏼
I couldn't agree with you more on the Sky Two GX! It was sturdy, came with (3) PWM 140s, with a hub, and was an absolute breeze to build in. Moreover, I got the white version for only $79 (US).
Agreed its a solid case and it just comes down to personal choice. I'm rebuilding my second system from Torrent Nano to Lancool 207, big reason is size. Very limited space in second setup, but this case lets me do from ITX to ATX in a similar footprint. Unfortunately I can't mention them all, but agreed its a very good case.
I got the Lian Li O11 Vision (Chrome Edition, if anyone's curious lol) this summer and I absolutely love it, such a big upgrade from my previous CM TD500 Mesh. I would definitely recommend it anyone
I myself got the O11 Dynamic evo xl case and just love the looks of the case. I don’t really care that much for Monitor screens inside the case, but can see why you chose that case. I would probably still have picked my case that I currently have because I think it is really easy to build in and has a built in support bracket for the gpu. I put an ek nucleus 360 aio in the case with push pull and still have plenty of room in the case. I am looking forward to seeing how an rtx 5090 will look in the case. Thanks again for your reviews! Happy 2024 and Merry Christmas!
So excited to see G400A included. I am waiting for it to be released in my country. I only wish it had a GPU support bracket. I am hoping the Gigabyte 4080 Aero comes with a GPU support bracket that I can fit on to the ATX motherboard.
Thanks for this! Just about to step into the market on a new machine so the case is something I'm not as sure about at all. DNA (Definitely not Asus) doesn't apply to cases haha. I am wondering how are Phanteks so able to do what they're doing in relation to features:price when all the others are so expensive?
GUYS! I need some help here, i looked around for so long abut for the life of me i cant find it. what is the height of the psu removable side mesh part for the lancool 207 and phanteks g400a? please if someone knows help me
@@ChristopherFlannigan I ordered a 5 inch lcd screen that i want to use as a sensor monitor for my next build and it has a height of 8cm. I'm hoping the shroud part can fit said screen
On the Phanteks G400A I don't think you'll quite make it because the PSU Chris used in his build video is 86 mm in height, and it looks like it extends about 1 cm or so above that mesh panel (from watching him install the power supply from the back of the case). That would make the overall height of the panel itself somewhere in the neighborhood of ~7.5 cm by my estimation. On the other hand, the side panel Lancool 207 _does_ look to be tall enough, with several millimeters to spare. Good luck with it! 🍀
Me not being much of a fan of the very gamery aquarium cases, I would have picked the Fractal North XL over the HS 420 for the 'Large Cases' category for this year. Its significantly cheaper all while offering all the bells and whistles of a high end case... Overall this was a good year for PC cases.
Mistake 1: built PC start of the year. Mistake 2:didnt know about this channel till recently and missed out on the HAVN case which was cheaper than the case i went for and looked better. great video and channel.
Very good video I wish you could make one of the cooler master masterbox 600. I'm thinking about that case a lot but I know you go fully in depth on this cases whit the reviews and the building video. And I want to see the build problems and the thermals for real with the aio's. Si thanks in advance if you make one and merry Christmas as well. Thanks for making this helpfullyvideos. Hola from mexico
It's so hard to get a reasonably priced case without glass these days. I'd rather have mesh, plus the left side of my case faces a wall anyway so glass is redundant.
Initially, I want Lian Li vision, but I got bored with it because of so many PC video using this case that show on my social media. I build using Antec C8 Curve Wood instead.
Hi, I would like to build my first PC, mainly for FPS games and some AAA games. Im currently just finishing my Tower 300. Your build video was invaluable. Nearly ran out of space but got there in the end! 🙏😊

Yes. I think that Montech has now established itself as the ""Quality Budget" champion. It's also making the other case manufacturers take notice.
Thanks, it's a great case as well. Not an easy job picking a case this year with so many good options. There reason the other cases have dropped the price is because of Montech, because otherwise nobody would buy anything else.

Antec Flux Pro
One of my favorite channels for concise case reviews. And the same problem I have deciding fr the budget cases 😂 the two I can’t decide between
No Antec flux or pro?

Glad to see Thermaltakes The Tower Series made the cut. I just did my personal build in The Tower 600 and I couldn’t be happier 🎉

Have you received any reports that the V-GPU mount on the Havn is not sturdy and it breaks after a few inserts and removals of the GPU?
No. I have moved cards in and out a number of times now to use in builds and it is solid. Best vertical GPU bracket I have used. Almost every other one is not straight and tilts towards or away from motherboard
I've started a build with the ASUS ProArt PA602 and so far I really like what I see.
Have you used the Lian Li SUP 01 for long? How is it fairing?
Like most of the PC builds I do it was taken down as soon as the filming finished, so I didn't use it long term
To my eyes the fishbowl cases are ugly, wouldn't have them for free. Case of the year is the Lian Li 207.
That's the first profile image of a Spec4 that I've ever seen on TH-cam.

Gonna break my wallet on the HS420, then gonna break my back when I need to move it 😂
Weight is 19kg. I remove all the panels before moving it about
Yeah, it‘s absolutely worth it. I‘ve got the white version @vgpu. Complete white build. I just freakin' love it

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS TUF GAMING A620M-PLUS
RAM: DDR5 2x16 GB 6000 MHz
SSD: WD_BLACK SN770 1TB 5150MB/s
AIR COOLER: upHere UE2K6 Black
CASE: KEDIERS Mini Mid-Tower Black
PSU: MSI MAG A650GL 80Plus Gold
GPU: RX 7700 XT 12GB
I would like to know if it is ok or if something could still be improved.

Sir, it is possibly criminal to follow up with the best budget after arguably the best looking 😂😂😂
Tar300
Just hating all that senseless LED bling bling...
lol one a month and your up 10...love the videos m8

Damn, no HTPC cases.
$102.00 US isn't a budget case price.
Sorry but there are so many Options with way better Cases!! Corsair and NZTX and many more!!!
What about the Antec Flux Pro ? Better thermals then your overall winner
Haven't built in it, but I might have to as it keep coming up
