    Please do not consider the MG 3.0 RX-78 as a (Must Build). The kit looks good coming out of the box, but a month after building it becomes a weak jointed piece of junk. The MG 2.0 RX-78 is so much the better choice. Build is solid and no issues with joints weakening over time.

    • @barryblackall4563
      @barryblackall4563 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would recommend the age 2 from build divers though they've changed a decent amount of the inner frame including those terrible shoulders and I'm pretty sure they've sorted out the leg issue too. I wish they'd re-release the double bullet with that upgraded inner frame. P.s. The double bullet comes with the wings of the age 2 normal so can be used for custom builds or you can have them on the kit with the cannons, only thing missing is the dods rifle sadly

  • @retiredfromyoutubehehe
    @retiredfromyoutubehehe ปีที่แล้ว +11

    I've built hundreds of gundam kits, and the Sazabi Ver. Ka is truly the best one I've put together. The detail is astounding, the build is fantastic and enjoyable throughout. Only downside is it is "questionable" on an action base, but I've had one posed nicely in a "flying" combat pose for over 4 years and it has yet to crush the action base (even though it wobbles back and forth whenever I walk past it, lol)

    I actually just built the MG Astray Red frame Kai not two weeks ago, and was blown away. Not only was it my first MG, but the level of detail on the inner frame, and armor you can get to show through is mind blowing. Super solid build aside from it's little side skirts at the waist (every Astray I've dealt with has that issue). Phenomenally fun build, and has me looking to get many more MG kits.

    the MG Acguy is still a nice kit despite its age to the point the inner-frame inspired the HGUC version's engineering, it even comes with effects parts, still wondering why we haven't got a MG Beargguy.

    My top 5 must build MGs are:
    1. RX78- Gundam the origin.
    2. Mg Dynames (or any of the 00kits after that)
    3. Barbatos, definitely
    4. Sazabi ver ka
    5. Toss up between the buster or the astray (red or blue)

    • @PauloMagno0203

    Of the mentioned kits I have the Barbatos, Geara Doga, and Buster, and they were all fun builds. Though I will say every time I touch the Buster, a different piece falls off. The MG I'm most excited for is the Virtue, though. Hoping it comes with a million clear bits so you can pose it shedding its armor.

    Out of the few I've built, I'd recommend the Astray Red Frame Kai. Amazing mechanics, great extras and a really good experience overall. Also the F91 2.0, which has pretty good build experience and allows for LED too in a simple way. And finally the Crossbone X1 Ver. Ka, which is one of the most modern Ver.Ka and has also the pieces to make it the Skull Heart.
    Really good list btw!

It's an affordable MG, I got mine for ~$32 at the time of purchase, it has a simple but enjoyable build process with some nice sliding armor in the legs that allows for great posing, and is quite solid. Also, it comes with its own launch deck base which most other kits lack.

    Mg Hyaku shiki 2.0 is a must have, out of the fifty or so gunpla I’ve built, this is the king of them all. It has a simple build, cool design, amazing looking gold, lot’s of detail, phenomenal articulation, solid structure and a satisfactory amount of accessories which is made up for in what you can actually do with them (aka storage). It may be a little pricier then most mg’s, but it is worth every penny.
