The first time I played the game I was absolutely terrified of the compys

one thing that makes nameless even scarier is that on an explorer note in aberration, its a certain one, the last sentence says, "I hear a scratching in the distance, better check it out," with a handprint in blood at the bottom.

I would personally bump The Reaper up to #1 because according to the lore, the people living on Aberration tried to hack the Ark, and the Overseer at the time (before Rockwell) created Reapers as a punishment, even stating that The Reapers were "specifically created to hunt Humans".

I just started ark and this Dino thing started to chase me I ran and fell of a pretty high cliff but some how lived and I thought oh it must be gone and I turn around then see these vicious teeth in my face almost had a heart attack

The one i find the scariest and the one i MOST HATE is the nameless axeman. And what can i say they are a horrifying son of an ark no vulgar intended and when i saw the trailer and when they turn alpha i.e get all veined up and bubble up in their body i hated it and i really dont like them and they just seem like have no regard for life other than just to kill things!
So thats my most scariest creature in ark axeman.

The jellyfish, man. When I was new to the game, next to piranhas, I hated the jellyfish. You can’t tell if they’re getting closer or not, and can’t tell if you’ve aggroed them. They just slowly drift towards you. You’re so caught up with how pretty they are and how they glow that when you notice they’re only three feet from you, you start to wonder aloud, “Didn’t I think the dilos were friendly, and they ended up being mean?”
Poisoned and beat to death.

Hello! I love watching these to learn more about the creatures since I just bought the game and started playing recently!
Atleast nameless are weak (when u have light). You can even get to the eggs and back if u use a crab without ever having to worry about them. Btw you cant outjump Reaper Queens, they just dig into the ground and get back out next to u.
Megalosaurus. Fast and deadly, can even grab medium mounts away under you and on aberration they never sleep. Also scary if u find one in a dark cave at daytime, u might overlook it and get jumpscared.
Those tiny crab thingys under water that instant torpor you. On Ragnarok these fvckers even go at the beach and are silent.
Megalanias rabby effect, freeze spores on aberration, all that crap.
And Nr 1. Ravagers...these guys need a massive nerf. Tanky pack animals with a bleed effect.... nice, u cant outrun em after u got hit, they have alpha boost and mate boost so the highest level one does 188% damage and every ravager in the group only gets 67% damage, u will have the bleed effect get reapplied atleast once, they are silent and the only thing NOT glowing in the dark, do % damage AND slowdown. Change the slowdown or lower the health of these things or i dont know, atleast make them keep the bleed effect after taming, they are just useful for running around the map and carrying stuff, which is good, but the wild ones are brutal

I had a level 15 steal and about three raptors and I was able to take a pack down with everyone still alive.
At 800 movement speed you can outrun them.

Bruh the damn megalosaurus at night when you are flying through the trees on your flying mount with just a torch😭 or when your taming it in the daytime with full torpor and all of a sudden night hits and the damn thing is fully woken up instantly roaring! Or even worse artifact hunting in a cave while they are inside it!

The zomdodo is the scariest thing me and my tribe have encountered..we were only around lvl 13-15 and this thing spawned in one of the huts. It was a bloody massacre. It killed everything. We only managed to get rid of it by dropping all our stuff and luring it far away and dying out there. I still fear it's return...maybe it'll return when we're ready we're around lvl 30 now

I had my funniest/most terrifying moment with a giga, so my brother and a couple friends and I were playing official, we had playing for awhile when more of my friends decided to join, one of my friends joined and I went to go get him in highlands E, I was in the process of inviting him when a giga comes out of the pitch black at night and munches us and my bird, we both screamed so loud my dad questioned my sexuality but it was also pretty funny

Been playing Ark for a while with a friend. We got to the point dying wasn't hard to avoid. Then WC hit us with a new map: Abberation.
Couldn't stop dying. Hit level 30-ish and still died at least five times whenever we'd get on.
No troodons but fucking ravagers everywhere

As a SP, the thought of a Giga spawning by my base or running into one randomly is the most horrifying thing.
As a fellow SP, and having almost done that on foot - I got off my bird and almost fell off the mountain onto its head - that's terrifying.

They are a nusiance but they are really good with their hunt and retrieve ability that puts a buff on whatever they catch and bring the corpse of so when you harvest it it will always give prime meat or prime fish if it’s a fish. Also the ability is useful when taming otters

I was a new player to Ark. My first time making it deep into the swamp. A Karpo starts chasing me. I flee across the shoreline until I thought I was no longer being chased. I looked back, no Karpo. "Haha, whew, okay, it's gone."

I'd say yutyrannus for the list, it has a terrifying roar, it scares small Dino's or your pets, and it's about as strong as a Rex, and has carnos guarding it, I think
