I honestly think that the archa is underrated, it’s (imo) the single best tame before level 30. I’ve done soooo many raids where I jump off a cliff with the archa, glide down about 20 feet above a player, throw it off my shoulders and either insta kill with a high lvl shotgun or just knock them out with a club at lower levels. It’s so versatile since they actually glide further than parachutes, you can basically deploy and put away just like a parachute but it stay on your shoulders and you won’t have to waste any hide or thatch early game to get around. Not to mention, before you can tame flyers and make a saddle, it’s the single best creature to get around with

Kelly Postema yeah the first time I’ve seen them were on the beach. They don’t have a lot of health but if they sting you once your basically dead. Try making a crossbow and shoot them from a distance they don’t last long.

The ocean is my favorite place to be, as long as I have a basilo with me. I have a severe talassophobia and to feel safe on the back of a giant fish on dark deep waters gets rid of the anxiety and makes me enjoy the depths. Also i have a base underwater nowadays where i admire beautiful tusos and mosas passing by.
Tbh all of the creatures on this list I remember and tamed all that I can (even Forcetamed an ammonite and sea scorpion just because they look cool) except, EXCEPT the leoplerodon, I haven’t forgot about it but god it’s a disappointment, I was hyped about it before it was released when I first saw the dossier, and insanely hyped for it when it was revealed, only for people to show it of on TH-cam and low and behold it’s a temporary tame, with no way around it, it’s not like the titanosaur, it’s just 30 minutes of time with something that really should be a permanent tame. The model is amazing, the animations are badass and leoplerodon is just generally a cool creature, something we should be able to enjoy but nope, it’s useless, and the only creature I will go out of my way to kill, because seeing that thing and knowing what they did to it, just no, wildcard, just fix this
I wish the magical fish thingy was a permanent tame but the buff was temporary. Like once every few days it'll just randomly reroll your crates with loot and it used a modified form of that disappearing anomation. And that they were stronger physically either defensively or offensivelt so they could be useful.
Like he said, that varies from map to map, theyre rare on the island but in ragnarok they are a big nuisance when starting because they inhabit the viking bay, which is extremely close to the main spawn people use
What’s funny is the Eurypterid is one of the reasons I started playing to begin with. I love prehistoric animals, and the sea scorpions are some of my favorites. When I found out it was in a game I could get I the game right away. So, that’s the reason why I didn’t forget about the Eurypterid.
Diplocaulus is great like a motorized scuba that is fast and it stays put when you dismount. I go to ocean floor often to get ammonite bile to combine with my golden hesperonis eggs to make kentro kibble to tame yuti and use extra to make pheromone darts to tame troodons. Archaeopteryx is better than a parachute at times as you can turn it on and off while descending. None of these are forgotten to me and they are quite useful if you know how to take advantage of them.
When İ first saw the Archa İ thougt it was Microraptor, and İ was very happy(Because Micro didn't relased yet in Mobile and İ think İ found a bug) but it was Archa
Oh, I have not forgotten about the SEA DEMON. (sea scorpion) They spawn shallow on Ragnarok and glitch on land a lot and there's nothing you can do about it at a low level other than bend your knee to the new sea demon overlords.
I forgot the name but what about the one that can suck in air u can jump and go rlly high or let out the air and blow And lots more that were so forgotten that they aren’t on the list also rock drake
The glider bird is one i like to use because it's a hybrid between walking on land and flying, so i can basically walk but "jump" between mountains and i can just fly to somewhere i want to go as long as i jump from a small height. It barely loses any height while flying and it's much quicker to turn anf fly than the parachute. I sometimes use it instead of flyers because it's much smaller and i can carry it around after getting where i need to go. I prefer to carry it instead of leaving it somewhere only for it to get attacked when I'm not looking, that happens with my bigger flyers
My first encounter with the sea scorpion was terrifying, me and my best friend were playing when I went away from our base to get hide. I turn around to head back and I see one of these creepy things levitateing towards me! On land! I don’t know if their supposed to do that, but it did.
Ammonites drop their bile when killed, which is used for pheromone darts. Those can be quite fun (or annoying, depending on which side you're on) and even got me through the Tek cave solo.
The Eurypterid is pretty useful when tamed it cant swim unless tamed i believe so it just walks on sea floor anywhere but it is good at knocking things out
I love the diplocaulus. Its speed, stam, and ability make it perfect for early game underwater exploration since the scuba stuff is unlocked at a pretty high lvl
Really nostalgic because I had a break from ark That I did forget some. Barring some facts but this really brings nostalgia I stopped cos I needed a break from ark and wanted to do more stuff. There's one creature that I want to forget *THE DODO*
In Ark, there are several types of rarity to know, Common, uncommon, rare, very rare and extremely rare, (just to refresh people's memory before I mention the following). The Hesperornis is an uncommon creature on Valguero. 1 of the most common areas to find them is near the aberration entrance that is closer to the center of the map. Archaeopteryx are common in the ocean biome of genesis and are uncommon in sanctuary on the extinction.
Hesperornis: remembered because theyre free polymer Archeopteryx: remembered because i know theyre useless Diplocaulus: remembered because theyre cute and dracopult (a gen. 8 pokemon) is based on it Liopleurodon: remembered because i know theyre rare Eurypterid: remembered because theyre basically just free oil, silica pearls, etc. on ragnarok Lamprey: remembered because i watched a abberation video and remember it from there Ammonite: remembered because i always tame mosas in creative and if you tried to find a mosa you already know these
Arch is pretty nice for someone who doesn’t want to spend time crafting for parachutes all the time, or who doesn’t want to spend points on the engram.
Hesperornis is VERY valuable. Not for taming, but the only source of organic polymer before your tough enough to survive the snow biome. Archaeopteryx are VERY valuable in Aberration and Extinction for exploring and covering ground on foot.
Just in case people don't know, the liopleurodon is from the old animated short called Charlie the unicorn. That's why wildcard decided to put it in the game lol. "It's a liopleurodon, Charlie! A magical liopleurodon!" Lmaooo
I wonder why the sea crate luck Dino is so underrated. Maybe for the rare spawn and the 30 minutes, but loot crates underwater can have crazy loot. Imagine multiplying that crazy loot..

The Eurypterid is pretty useful when tamed
it cant swim unless tamed i believe so it just walks on sea floor anywhere but it is good at knocking things out

I love the diplocaulus. Its speed, stam, and ability make it perfect for early game underwater exploration since the scuba stuff is unlocked at a pretty high lvl

In Ark, there are several types of rarity to know, Common, uncommon, rare, very rare and extremely rare, (just to refresh people's memory before I mention the following).
The Hesperornis is an uncommon creature on Valguero. 1 of the most common areas to find them is near the aberration entrance that is closer to the center of the map.
Archaeopteryx are common in the ocean biome of genesis and are uncommon in sanctuary on the extinction.
And the Diplocaulus are still rare on genesis, but the spawn rate is a bit higher.
Hesperornis: remembered because theyre free polymer
Archeopteryx: remembered because i know theyre useless
Diplocaulus: remembered because theyre cute and dracopult (a gen. 8 pokemon) is based on it
Liopleurodon: remembered because i know theyre rare
Eurypterid: remembered because theyre basically just free oil, silica pearls, etc. on ragnarok
Lamprey: remembered because i watched a abberation video and remember it from there
Ammonite: remembered because i always tame mosas in creative and if you tried to find a mosa you already know these
Arch is pretty nice for someone who doesn’t want to spend time crafting for parachutes all the time, or who doesn’t want to spend points on the engram.
Hesperornis is VERY valuable. Not for taming, but the only source of organic polymer before your tough enough to survive the snow biome.
Archaeopteryx are VERY valuable in Aberration and Extinction for exploring and covering ground on foot.
I have over 7.3k hours in ark and I love the under water areas. Since the liopleurodon was released, I've only seen it twice.
Just in case people don't know, the liopleurodon is from the old animated short called Charlie the unicorn. That's why wildcard decided to put it in the game lol.

I wonder why the sea crate luck Dino is so underrated. Maybe for the rare spawn and the 30 minutes, but loot crates underwater can have crazy loot. Imagine multiplying that crazy loot..
