Beard oil is the a must!! Balm if you want style & butter for nourishment. Most don’t use balms. Just depends on what the individual man wants in his beard or what the beard wants.
Excellent! When I started my beard there were no butters. I always bought oil & balm combos because I thought that was necessary for beard care. For a long time now I’ve just used oil, with a little butter on rare occasions. I think my beard looks and feels better this way. Outstanding presentation! Thanks!
Thank you so much. I had someone ask me if I had made a video like this to share with his coworker that was growing a beard. I put this together and hopefully it will help point some guys in the right direction.
Great job explaining Bryan. I personal use oil in am then rinse my beard for 5 minutes at 9-10 pm and re apply an oil and use a little butter. I’ve never used balm I’ll have to try it sometime. Great job
I have always used Beard Octane but I recently discovered Fable Beard Co and while Beard Octane is a phenomenal brand I absolutely love the scents from Fable a lot more!
The butter was from Iowa Beard Company and the balm was The Captain’s Stash. I have affiliate codes and links for each company in the video description. Let me know if you have any other questions.
If I may say as a balm user. If the balm is creamy it’s a butter. Balm is more for styling so it will need to be a hold or strong hold. It’s the way I see it.
@@user-ne9wp8ve5u I just use weather beard it was very waxy. I dont need alot of hole just a little hold for during the day. I have had lux crushers. iam looking for more creamer with just a little hold not so waxy more softer.

Thank you sir for taking the time to explain the difference between everything and their purpose. Can’t wait for the next video!
So glad you liked it. Thanks.
I wear more balms in the cold weather & more butters in the summer.
Wonderful breakdown of what everyone needs to know when starting a beard.

Thanks Mark. I’m a little surprised that you’ve never tried a balm at all. You may be surprised when you try one.
Great video Bryan! Thanks for sharing
Always happy to help.
Informational video. Thank you! Do you have any experience with Doctor Nicks products? Cheers.
Glad you liked the video. I haven't tried Doctor Nicks yet. Maybe I'll get a chance to work with him this year.
WOW thank you sir for the hot tip.
Yes sir. Always happy to help.
Awesome video B&B! 🔥
Thank you. This one actually took a lot of time to get right. Glad you liked how it turned out.
Just got my first Fable butter tdy. Psyched to see how it compares to some other brand’s butters I have!
Very cool. Let me know how you like it.

Which type would you recommend for shorter beards?
Beard oil first. If you are trying to tame any hairs, you could put a little high hold balm on top.
What is the company of the white jar you was holding

who has the most creamy beard balm.?
That’s a good question. I’m going to have to say Southern Beard Co. They are the only company I’ve seen that actually whip their balm.
