best video on how tho really grow a beard, i started to shave a line on my cheaks, but indeed , that was wrong , i was thinking, now i have to shave that part every few days, i am lucky to have just started a full beard for 6 months so that part will catch up . love the part where you say to be who you are and not try be somebody else. your beard looks awesome, love the waves,
Ur beards is looking fantastic ..It's great to see a natural beard instead of all the beards that are hedge trimmed. I'm six months into growing a yeard and it's coming on great especially after my 3 months.
I cannot grow a beard, I don't have the genetics for it, not gonna lie it hurt for a little bit, but I accepted it and found the beauty in wetshaving and continue to admire the beards of those able to grow one.
@@999samus7 I hear you, man. It's good that you are learning to accept it and do the best you can with what God gave you. I can maybe relate a bit. I used to have very long straight hair on my head. Hair that made women jealous. But around my late 20s it started falling out. It was pretty hard for me to accept,but I eventually learned to accept it and cut it very short for a while and then eventually started shaving it completely bald. Now it's normal to me, but at first it was like losing a limb.

My beard gets to around my belly button and then gets uneven. Some parts might grow a little more and others don't, so it looks uneven. It took around 3 and a half years to get to that point for me. Everybody's different though. How long did yours get to?
@robobass25 I got you. Haha. Go look up some pictures of ZZ Top. You may be at about the same length. I always remembered their beards being longer, but they weren't actually as long as I used to think. I get it though. My only advice for getting it longer would be. 1) Try to touch it as little as possible and 2) Use some heavy type oil on it, like castor oil..... Oh and one more 3) Don't use soap or shampoo to wash it. Just water, towel dry and put castor oil on it. That's all I've got. But this will probably only have a small effect. Like I said, everybody's is different, and the length it will get to is pretty set.
I just stopped shaving. I started a new job and was working long hours. One of the girls I worked with liked the stubble. Eventually I got a huge red beard. Never going back
Offtopic - reduced my glasses for -0.25 and my eyes went for about -0.25 worse over 6 months... i ve done AF whenever possible but this somehow didnt help.. any suggestions?
@@ruiraiz9694 looking at the sign is good, but if you're not taking measurements, I can tell that you're really not doing the method properly. If you're not following the method, you're not going to get results. There is not much I can do for you.
Shaving really came about when Gillette introduced the safety razor. Advertising made it take off. Warren Buffet bought tons of stock in Gillette knowing that billions of men around the world would wake up in the morning and shave using Gillette razor blades.
My biggest pet peeves of guys growing out their beards is how they bend over backwards to invent some ridiculous reason as to why they had to shave it off. One day they're talking about how much they love it and the next day they're saying _"Oh I had to shave it off because my cell phone battery died. But it will grow back better than ever!"_ Most men treat their beard like a t-shirt that can be worn and replaced at will, then go up to a guy with a long one and whine how they'd love to have a beard like that.
I hear you man. A long beard takes time and commitment. It's like most other things. Most things that are worth it take some time, effort and commitment. People seem to have a hard time with that these days. They want the shortcut, the quick way. It doesn't exist. Actually my beard didn't take that much effort, I just had to consistently leave it alone for a long time.
@@seanskelton866 They mostly do, All these so called "beard oils" are just gimmicks. I stay away from them and only use regular edible almond, mustard and coconut oil and use balm for styling sometimes.
Shaving trend started after WW1. GIs had to shave so that gas masks could fit PLUS disposable razors are now widely available. When tue GIs came back from war, they liked the idea of no facial hair as they had grown used to it during the war. Thats where shaving begins.
"God made it" but he also made head hair, which you shave off. You observe a "natural state" for your face but scalp your head. Great advice though on growing your own unique beard and not trying to be like someone else.
Actually, God allowed my head to go bald. That is also natural, which I mentioned in the video. I do shave some of my head but I don't grow much up there.

Good question. If we all grow beards and make it a normal thing, maybe so. And actually, right now with it becoming "acceptable" for a man to dress like a woman and vice versa, why should anyone have a problem with a man having a beard, no matter how long?

Sikhs have great big beards. They mostly use only mustard and coconut oil.
