I have read the rules... watched this video 2 times, and watched the 5 hour long Heavy Cardboard teach and playthrough. I think I am finally about ready to play lol. This game is a handful... and I am ecstatic to try it out!

Every nuance of the rules and iconography somehow feels both necessary and intuitive at the same time and it certainly delivers the promise of a space empire building epic with deterministic combat.

Hi Paul. Was rewatching this as I prepared to teach the game and think I found a small detail regarding abandoning a sector that is not covered in the video. It's in the Rulebook on page 27 in the section on Glory Tokens. It states that if you abandon a sector you have to discard one of your Glory Tokens. Unfortunately I think this is the only place in the rulebook where this is mentioned so it's easy to miss since it is not in the Abandoned Sectors section on page 24. Just thought I'd highlight it in case you want to put something in the video description or in Klingon subtitles about it. Thanks again for the great job on this. It's been incredibly helpful!
Correct. This wasn't spotted by anyone (not even the designers or Mindclash) during final checks of this video. And, it is unfortunately not covered in the rulebook in the section on Abandoning Sectors. But you are right.
It's also on page 21 in the last section: if you recall the last Fleet Power from a non-Home sector, you must discard a Glory token of your choice (see page 27 on Glory tokens) and the sector is abandoned (see page 24 on abandoned sectors).
