Great video, Antwan. I recently bought a SoundCore Boom 2. Of course, it was on sale at Amazon. Instead of €129,99, I’ve paid only €109,99. I still want to try out the Boom 2 Plus too, so maybe it’ll be my next purchase. I’m very impressed by the tiny Boom 2. When using the 9 band equalizer you can set the bass to as low as 48 Hz. And it’s loud. Extremely loud. Love the customizable lights on the radiators too. The SoundCore app works great. Never ran into any issues whatsoever. If I had to spend $300, I would buy both the Boom 2 and Boom 2 Plus!
Idk what everyone so far is talking about . The plus sounds WAY better. I have the Boom 2 and have no complaints. But, seriously thinking of getting the Plus for the overall better quality sound I've heard in several reviews.
My Boom 2 is perfect for my beach trips. Fits nicely in my beach tote. For around the house, I have the various hi-res motions, which are spectacular! If and when the Boom 2 plus drops to around $175, I’ll probably pull the trigger.
I have a 4-year old, 30W Soundcore Motion+ that still sounds great, but has developed an annoying rattle when the volume is cranked. I think it's time for an upgrade to the Boom 2 Plus. Two questions: can the end LED lights be turned off? Is there an on-board battery bank to keep my phone charged?

It’s also important to take in consideration how many people are at a given place when DJing. For each person, you roughly need a minimum of 5 watts rms power. 10 watts per person would be better but can lead to overkill.
Can You compare (in future) without bass on as well? In my speaker collection, I own one Souncore speaker for work, but I usually listening without bass on, because battery life, and it is less annoying without bass on high volume in long shift in noisy enviroment. So for me less bass is better - but i still need to hear "what happens". Is make sense to pay twice for this scenario?

Why don't they use the Bluetooth codec APT X HD or better yet LDAC or LOSSLESS Bluetooth? They are using SBC which is the worst to use only 320kbp/s witch is a VERRY LOSSY. So, this speaker wont sound any better than a MP3 at 320kbp/s. All you're ever going to get out of this is MP3 quality which is GARBAGE. Don't expect anywhere near CD quality sound from this it's IMPOSSIBLE with verry lossy compression that this unit does on the Bluetooth signal path.

Boom 2 plus hits that size where it’s too big to be portable. The boom 2 is the best sound for size and the best PORTABLE Bluetooth speaker.

The regular one is just for chucking in your bad and the plus is for the real party mode, you can't go wrong with having both for different occasions.

For someone who mainly reviews bluetooth speakers. I think you should invest in a binaural microphone. It would increase the quality of your content

I understand what you mean. It's just a smaller speaker so there's not as much boomy bass. Which makes it sound a little cleaner.
